We had a plan today to pick up as many well favourited caches as possible and if they included Wingaap placed caches then all the better. So off to the Crown at Dayboro and work our way home. We also were on a secret mission which should be successful.A well weathered piece of craftsmanship with great protection for the log. Signed and returned to its spot. Thanks for the cache.
After two nights festival camping with the youngest child, we decided to take the scenic route home via Mt Mee and Dayboro. It just so happens that there were a few geocaches along the way. I had to be selective as someone was tired and just wanted a nap and a home shower. The 10 year old was feeling a similar way.
I had marked a few archived caches on a list and we tried to find three of these today. Two successes and one fail.
This was the first attempt. We were able to park safely, and we could spot the cache through the leaves as we were crossing the road. Loved the container, and this brought back wonderful memories of when my companions older brother and I started caching many years ago. The log book was in great shape and had been recently signed, so we are not the only ones who want to find as many of these great creations as possible. Returned as found and we were on the way to the second cache.
Thanks very much for the cache WINGAAP. Good memories for two generations of our family, Cheers.

Heading out with two of the kids for some cache hunting this afternoon. I have been researching some nearby archived caches of late and this was on my list. Hunted around for a while before finding the cache on the ground in the long grass. Such a shame these had to be archived as they deserve to be visited regularly. Thanks Wingaap for the effort to create this one.
We were out caching this morning and headed back to camp for lunch and a deserved nap. Afterwards we thought we would head out for some more caches and chose these. Found the trail in and powered up with enthusiasm towards GZ. A bit of a look around and the cache was in hand. Happily signed the log and we were on our way. Thanks for placing this cache Whovian.
Cheers and happy caching!

TFTC. We had started the day with a Barb caches as we travelled the local roads after the Mega. WE were heading back to Dayboro stopping along the routes collecting more smilies. Very impressed by these hides
We made the decision to spend another week at the Dayboro showgrounds to give ourselves the opportunity to find more of the many caches that have been placed in the area. Finally the rain has nearly become non existent and bar for one short heavy burst it has been a rain free day. The area is still showing signs of all the rain we have had recently with the creek flowing fast and in places the roads are covered. We found all of the caches that we attempted today but one. Dayboro Day, Final Day
Today we chose to retrace our tracks to look for caches we had passed previously
The finds were mostly along backroads. It's always good caching in the country.
This also included a drive to Lake Samsonvale to complete the AL
Thankyou wingaap for placing this cache.

Today with Day 2 of the Dayboro Mega event, I returned back to Dayboro to attempt a solo yet full day of finding the various solved *Horse* and *We* ?? *Geo* geoart, as well as any other interesting cache types. The weather was rather damp with a continuous pour of rain and showers, and although the light rain was tolerable, there were a few periods of heavy downfalls that were rather miserable. I ran into many other Geocachers during the day, and once my last remaining natural light was lost, I headed back home, grabbing a fast food dinner on the way.
During my travels around the vicinity, I made a stop here, and the cache was a reasonably quick find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. A very well made cache, which earns a Favourite Point from me! Thanks Whovian aka. wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Quick pick up on the way to the last lake Samson AL.
So cool to have made it to the Mega now to get the caches we spent months solving and other nearby caches.
On a trip north to get to Dayboro with Kittykatch, Isopeda and Barb2e. Been lots of fun and laughs.
Signing via stamp as Capital Crunchers.

First find of the day with the team of Giraffe 18, Peppa and 2manytrailers. Nice little cache container.
At the end of a long day of caching around Dayboro, we came via this one and took a short stop on the other side of the road as we were heading back to Brisbane.
A lovely hide greeted us at GZ. Well hidden and very cute, we added our name to the log before continuing our journey back to the city.
Thanks Whovian.

Sunday morning and we dropped our daughter off at 4 am for work in New Farm and went on for a drive and some geocaching. At 5 am our weapon of choise was a torch and we found the little hidden treasure and some spider webs quite quickly in the dark . Good fun and TFTC Whovian
Driving by and thought we best pull over. Meant to get a few more but once again we got sidetracked.

When I planned our caching route this morning I didn’t realize we would be finding quite a number of wingaap caches. Now I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of them. TFTC wingaap
A fitting tribute to Barb, indeed! We spotted the geocache from the car, and while I approached from the side that was guarded by a golden orb spider, DisSister went the other way reached the cache first and unscathed.

Another find in this themed series. Another original artwork attached to the container which initiated some discussion about the series and the significance of the cache name and artwork.

It's been a while since I've found a cache by this CO.
Good to see he's still making and hiding interesting cache containers.

Cache check. Emptied the usual Big M junk. Added a few swaps and a new log book. All good to find.
I know this power trail you speak of... and it is indeed impressive... this is a really nice homage... left some American coin, replaced the snap lock bag and have a fave point for the attention to detail...
Easy find. Added a couple more swaps.
Interesting places work brings me. I do love these cache hides.

Great cache in a stunning location but there was a non-stop flow of cars. I think QLDers are a bit excited to be getting out and about again
What a great series but very scary to attempt pulling off the road with a speed limit of 100k’s & at most times being tailgated. So glad to have completed these as my nerves are shot. TFTC
Snuck out of work for a late and long lunch today, and decided to grab this cache. This cache was on the radar because it fulfilled another degree in the 360 challenge. Arriving at GZ I thought wow, what a view. Winter in Queensland really is the most amazing time of year. I had no idea what I was looking for, but saw this one as I parked my car. Yes, yes and yes. What a gorgeous cache container - OBC approved .
Quickly signed the log and headed back out for the next sneaky cache.
TFTC - and TB visits.

Fairly quick find by geo hubby as obvious from roadside but we parked further down the road to be safe on busy road on a Wednesday. Tftc
We found this cache today whilst self isolating caching, find was nice and quick. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Found this on the way to a friends house. 2nd cache today. Tftc. Could see it as we pulled up
Out today with Chamad and Team Tyrrell chasing down a few caches on the far side of Lake Samsonvale for the day.
We met up at the first cache out by Cedar Creek and we all got into the one car and we headed off to collect many more.
We had a great day out hunting in this beautiful scenic area.

Krcamber parked on the opposite side and we spotted this one from the car. Kept safe and waited for traffic then dashed across the road to make the find. TFTC
On a mission today for some highly favourited caches, having driven a long way from the Sunshine Coast, this was first on my list. We had been out this way the other week heading for Cedar creek and found a couple of this series, so knew that they were of quite an interesting variety and usually not too difficult to locate.
Being on such a high speed road was really the only drawback, but found enough room to pull over not too far from gz and headed to the likely spot.
Cool metal cut out - very creative in the Dr Who theme - I think these angels are very creepy though, I'll have nightmares if I remember those episodes too much.

I was heading up the road to get to another cache which I had targeted to find to gain points for the current Cache Carnival promotion and, on a spur of the moment, I stopped to find this cache as I drove past it. I actually had a 100m walk back from where I had parked. Knowing that I was looking for a Wingaap creation helped me in the search but I still wandered around for a few minutes before I spotted the hide.
Thanks wingaap good t get another of your caches off my list.

On a mission to find favourites but couldn't pass all other caches so a quick park and grab here earned me a couple of points. Signed log and replaced cache as found. TFTC
Headed out for a morning of caching. As soon as I saw the cache I knew it was a wingaap cache. Thank you for the effort you put into these caches.
We were on our way back to Samford for lunch and decided to stop for one or two more caches. I overshot the mark on this one and had to reverse 100m or so. We recognised the cache decoration from other caches that we have found around Brisbane.
Thanks for the cache Whovian. This was find #4069.
