Time to let this series go. It has run its course (it was a long course). No longer interested in placing and maintaining geocaches.
Out and about again trying to scoop up more of the Plantigrade series along Menzies Creek - its not a well trodden route so its good to see somewhere new and virtually no-one on it! Good look around here, and unfortunately no sign of it either under the bridge or in surrounding undergrowth. Thanks for bringing me here anyway.
Unfortunately couldn't find this one after two attempts. Hope to have another try next time we're in the area.
This cache will be disabled until the COVID-19 crisis is over. Please refrain from finding this geocache.
I finally made a start on the Plantigrade multi today and I looked for the traditional caches that were placed along the way. I took the (ahem) scenic route to GZ here as I got distracted by a large object that I would have thought would be a great spot given this cache name. Still a nicely hidden cache in a good location though! I was glad by this point of the walk the track was less overgrown. TFTC day1976
A pleasant walks after lots of rain. Nice find. Thank you.
We forgot our pen so we will venture back another day.

I had the morning off work and so I decided to try and get some more of the traditionals if this series. A nice walk and a nice quick find here, Tftc!
Awesome area to walk, but a bit scary when it's windy. I did this as quick as possible to get back to the (relative) safety of my car. There were already a few trees down over this track so I kept an ear out for cracking.
I have no idea how I missed this last time I came this way. They say cache blindness is a thing
Look high and low for this one, but not until I stopped and worked out where to look next, it was found. Not sure how I missed it
This took a little bit of searching, and just like the others, I made it harder than it needed to be. Everything was nice and dry inside. Great little location here Day!
No luck for me today. I did see some fishing line around a part of the bridge with no cache at the end. Could it have gone missing??? I am unsure I do have to come this way again to finish the series, I will try again then
Ruschie and I went out hunting today, and we found this. I really enjoyed the walk to this one. tftc.
Nearly missed the turn off to this bridge, just a little overgrown! There was no cache where I thought it would be, but I widened my search a little and found it. Thanks
The first warm day of the spring and had the day off today, so darted out to grab a few caches and tick some more of this series. The ground and bush are already starting to dry out, new fronds shooting from the tree ferns. The old sneeky bridge trick. Surprisingly the cache hadn't been found since March. Thanks Day1976 for the cache and the series. Cheers Bwbandit.
Ok, I have a confession to make: I'm logging this cache nearly two years late.......but late is better than never right??? I only noticed because OzHockeyChick and I were planning the next stage of the Plantigrade multi. Thank goodness I wrote myself some field notes!
Back again to complete another section of the multi and collecting the traditional caches along the with OzHockeyChick (OHC). Again the weather was warm but the shade of the tall trees provided us with the shade we needed. Arrived at GZ only to find that it was taking us a lot longer than was needed to find the cache. Spotted by OHC we managed to signed our names in the logbook and we were on our way to find the next one. Thanks Day1976.

Back today with K from Mark&Kelly to do another section of this awesome series. We had a wonderful time, chatting, laughing, de-leeching, and of course finding the caches.
We made this one harder than it should've been.
Thanks again day1976.

Found at 5:07 PM GAFF1.
Had to find just one cache for the day and the one that we previously chose turned out to be another DNF I also wanted to go to the Olinda Cellars for a Dalwhinnie wine tasting and be back for our grandson's birthday celebration by 6 pm. So this one had better be there and be a quick find! Got to GZ and thought this was going to be messy as the area was still a bit wet and the creek was running quite fast, however after checking one spot the cache was then mercifully found in the next I missed the wine tasting, but made it tothe party [^]
Interesting history btw.
Thanks day1976.
Feedback: A 200ml Sistema is considered a Small rather than a Micro.

Out tonight with Trailstevo battling leeches and picking up a few more cache from the series. Wet soggy, trees a leaf litter everywhere, bring on the summer ( and snakes?!). TFTC
After some time away, finally back into some night caching with Gunks. Picking up a few leechy hitchhikers as we found some Plantigrade as well as moving further along the main Plantigrade trail. Tftc
We made this one a bit harder than required but in the end had the cache in hand, found while out and about in the area this afternoon. TFTC day1976.

Out and about with Happy Pants smashing some caches on this Sunny Wednesday.
Wow what a great little slice of nature! Love the nearby seat!
Cheers for the cache

We decided to try for a couple more of this series on our afternoon dog walk and I'd noticed this one had been replaced recently so we'd be pretty sure it was there and have a reasonable chance of finding it. We are also trying to find some unloved caches so this was a bonus.
I'd been in the area the day before but couldn't figure out how to get close without a big walk which I didn't have time for. When I checked the maps later I realised what I thought was part of someone's garden was actually a path. So today we headed back and soon found the freshly replaced cache with a lovely clean log book. I was surprised to see an online log for the day before we'd been there when we came home so no unloved days for us this time.
Thanks for another fun cache on a lovely hidden path just off the road.

DNF unfortunately. Thought it had something to do with the walking dog sign looked all around it found nothing. Found fishing wire tied to pole, not sure if that's where it was or not because once I had pulled it up to find out there was nothing on the end.
Find #1364 logged at GZ at 17:53, will update shortly.... T4TC day1976!

This is a clever location, very sneaky. Finding the entrance from the main track is a bit of a trick.
Thanks again Day!

Beautiful place for a walk along here. I'm so grateful to be a membership of geocacher to discovery a lot of places like here.
Thanks day1976 for bring me here and cache

We were here - there and everywhere - at least that's what it felt like. In the area and picked up a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache. TNLT SL
Out and about this afternoon, while in the area decided to take a quick detour to grab this cache. Thanks for the cache placement day1976 TNLT SL
Thanks to a previous finder I knew about the back way into this one and once at GZ the cache was a quick find. I am still not sure whether the way that I took in, or the out way, or both, were the right way(s)!
Found on the ground under a pile of leaf litter. Clue appears to have been tampered with.
I found this cache today at 1:05pm as cache 10 of 12 in company of GJMMelb. Probably my favourite little spot of the day. A perfect little bridge that has just fallen into disrepair through lack of use. To be fair, the bridge is still quite good. There is just no longer a path from either side. Thanks from D B-A.
While doing the Plantigrade multi Rabbitto and I drove and parked on the main road. We walked down the side road unsure of whether the road went through to the track. Seeing a local at home Rabbitto asked if there was public access to the track and was told yes. So we walked through and quickly found the cache at GZ in the expected location. Thanks day1976

Found @12:36 #3317
Have had my eye on the Plantigrade cache series since it was first published and keen for the challenge of walking to its end in Cockatoo. Well today was the today and although the weather was not perfect it was good enough and after some short rain spells in the morning by lunch time most of it had passed. The track itself was easy with mud in sections as well as some sections being creeks of flowing water. On the hike today with me was Ahomburg and after starting at 9:30am we got to Cockatoo by 6pm, total distance of approx 30km with an average speed of 3km/hr. There was some nice hides and great scenery along the way. This was one of a few caches found in the series today.
Nice spot, thanks for bringing me here today.

Find # 3381
Streak: 115 Days
After a last minute decision to ditch a plan to head to Licola for some hill climbing with my caching mate SedgwickDave, but after checking the weather, and overnight camping trip may not be too much fun with 90% chance of rain and Gail force winds. So we headed towards the "Plantigrade" multi to see how much of it we could do as it was intended, on foot.
We walked a bit past the entry point for this one, but once at GZ it was a nice quick find with the sun now coming out again.
Thanks to day1976 for the cache.

Found with Josiey as we completed the first half of the Plantigrade walk. By this point I was starting to get a bit hot and my nose was blocking up!
Danozz and I decided that an epic walk was needed for this day we both had free and Plantigrade seemed to fit the bill. This is a very busy walk with stages of the multi and a number of trads along the way. This is an unusual spot with a small bridge with hardly any path on either end. I'm not sure it gets much use. Perfect place for a geocache. The clue was a bit cryptic...
My good mate trailruning was on Holidays so we took the opportunity to grab a few in the Dandenongs, it was a rather wet day compared with the nice day we had before, we made progress on the Plantigrade series, micros in the bush with poor gps signal under the tree cover can be a real challenge, but we got them found.
Lovely day for walk in the bush!!

Found this one on a cool, overcast Wednesday afternoon. No muggles, but lots of inquisitive cows around! Quite tempted to take one home . Found without too much trouble - I HAD been wondering what the title was all about! Geodog was no help at all.

Found @ 8:55am, find # 2407
I did see these new caches come up last night, but I wasn't planning on going anywhere then.
When I got up this morning, I thought about these caches and decided that it was a great morning for a bushwalk, so off I headed.
From the previous find, I headed off down the trail towards GZ, as I was getting closer, the GPSr was showing that the cache was about 20 metres off the track in the thick scrub, I continued down the trail and the I found a small track off the main one which lead me straight to the cache, which was found very quickly. I took out the log and found that it was another clean one, I soon changed that by signing my name.
Thanks to day1976 for placing this cache.
