Stopped here on our way to the Tee Five Event on the lake this afternoon. GZ is just rubbish & bees.
Signed back in to the gc website. Backlogging a majority of finds over the last year. Started my own account and it's time to sync it out. To avoid confusion I wont change the date logged. Send me an email (via profile link) or a message in the message centre (also via profile link) if you have any concerns.

I was meeting my sister at noon down in Wollongong...so that means some caching on the way down! I had a great time and got eight.
I didn't even bother to try and look for this one when I got to GZ, as there are loads of garden and household waste around the tree and a bee/wasp/buzzy-bitey-things nest on one side. Too dangerous to even attempt a look! Then read previous logs and realise the the bees have been there for a while. Maybe cache needs to be moved or archived

As per previous comment. Area covered in bees and all gavenden waste and rubbish. No luck.
Nothing in any obvious spot, The bees were on one side and the other side is being used as a waste depot by the person living in the adjoining house.
No idea what the clue means, but found after lengthy search having to dig a bit in the obvious spot. Its not near the bees. Thanks.
Didn't hang around here for too long to be bee'd upon. Weez gone till they gone.
Came here only to find lopping of trees nearby by council. Area was a dump site and unable to locate cache. As council truck next to GZ a lot of muggle activity.

Area probably needs a bit of a clean but this adds to the distraction of muggles not wanting to come near the place. Easy find once you know what your looking for. TFTC
Monday Caching Night.
Need 247 in 60 days.
I can confirm the cans of bug spray were not here last time - implying they were used on the swarm of bees living next to GZ.
It's a shame to kill them off, whether it was by a geocaching just for a smiley, or the neighbours.
Thanks for the cache regardless

2nd attempt at this one & I was successful! Was saddened by the rubbish at the area & the multiple cans of wasp/insect killer that had been dumped & more than likely used to kill the poor bees that swelled here on my last visit. TFTC
The bees were busy, cache was in bits, found them all and replaced with care. TFTC
Came back again and bees don't seem to be dying off.
I'll leave this one go for a bit, I'm in no hurry

There's gotta be a first time for everything and today was our first successful day caching!
Not that anybody's going to notice but me and my 25 yr old daughter we found our FIRST cache today and it was just down the road from home.
Now we've got an idea of what its 'all' about we can see the attraction.
So onto our next find. Thanks for the cache, J H Smith, wiifm

After reading the previous log I was weary but hopeful as it's been a few weeks. Nope still plenty of bees. Will wait for them to go before attempting this one again..
Smashed through the Eastern and Northern sides of Lake Illawarra today.
Couldn't get to this one today.
There was tree debris all piled up under the big tree.
To top it off there was a cluster of bees hanging around the base of the tree, as if their hive had fallen to the ground.
I'll be back

After number twelve I came here. I parked in the carpark closer to the lake and walked over. I was expecting to have to climb and balance to the end of that long branch, but it was a lot easier then that. I took the cache to the nearby table to sign the log before returning it and moving on.
Thanks for another in this great varying series!

2 November 2014 8:11PM lots of eight legged friends needed to be dodged for this find.
We came down from Sydney to spend the weekend camping at Killalea State Park. We have been there several times before, and like the place. On Sunday we dedicated to continue geocaching on our way back to Sydney from Shellharbour to Wollongong. It was not as hot day as yesterday, but still very warm.
We did a few LIPT caches yesterday - and another few today, have to save the remaining for next visit. Searched for a while but there were so irritated wasps so we said - another time maybe ...

After lots of tentative poking (bit concerned about spiders) we found it. Tftc
I'm not sure what the hint is on about, and on approach to GZ I was starting to think that a circus background might have come in handy. In the end it wasn't needed, and it was a quick find. Thanks.
Reperio at 1645.
Came down from Newcastle this morning ahead of the 10K Milestone event for The Rats this weekend, and today I had the chance to do a few Illawarra caches. Arrived at GZ to a very exposed spot, but fortunately there wasn't anyone around, and so the cache was quickly in hand.

Mr Ozjeeper was in town to pick something up and he had made time for just a couple of cache finds in the 'Gong. Thanks Xelanhoj for brining me here to this great spot - I'll bring Mrs Ozjeeper for a look next time we are down South.
Tree guardian not to be found and not sure we would have antagonised her anyway. TFTC.
Found with the Newberys on a great day out caching. TFTC TNLN SL. Be aware the lady that lives here does not like cachers climbing on the tree in the park, she says it is illegal!
Found with the WEEO on a great day out. The WEEO is right that the lady who lives next to the cache does not like people climbing the tree. I was up there quick as a flash and waled out along the big branch looking for the cache (not really - I just like climbing trees), and the lady had a go at me. I calmly told her it was not illegal to climb public trees and that I was not hurting it. Then after she had gone inside the WEEO and I made a quick find. Not sure what the clue refers to though. What better thing to do on a wet afternoon but some caching. A nice one to get. Loved looking around the area. Thanks to xelanhoj
Diving and Events at South Coast Feb 2014. After a great time at the even, ZZ7, Sol de Lune and I headed off to try for as many of the LIPT caches as time would allow. Two DNFs but plenty of finds, and many more to do on other trips. Thanks.

Don't know about the 36 dots - found the cache in the first place I looked!
TFTC xelanhoj!

Discovered what I thought was the 36 but did not discover the prize today. I will try another time.
Found this one today noot in the water that many people suspect it is in but in a much easier location TFTC
We found the 36 dot item and had a scrap around in the water but couldn't find a cache or log.
Thanks anyway xelanhoj.
Thanks anyway xelanhoj.
Attempted during a trip down to Wollongong with Big Matt and Shell.
Unfortunately this one eluded us today. We located the 36 dots but nothing else.
Thanks xelanhoj for the hunt.

Ah I see two caches at Primbee. So around I went. A few minutes looking and ah there it is. cache is dry but smells a bit damp. TN Left small peg. TFTC xelanhoj
Geokids got this one before I'd even walked across from the car. Couldn't resist a quick climb before the next cache. Container a bit wet inside but log ok. TFTC
Found with paulyman. Cache was completely submerged in water, yet the log was surprisingly dry. Might need a different hiding spot. TFTC.
Quick find with snorris. The cache was submerged under about 20cm of water! Surprisingly while the cache was wet the log was dry! Cleared out the cache, but you may want to check in on it.
Went to look for this cache before attending the nearby event. As stated by the finders before me, the cache was actually floating in water! I signed the log and replaced as I found, since I felt that hiding it elsewhere would mean CO might have difficulty finding it when coming to perform maintenance.
Checked what I thought could have been a hiding spot - but there was no water there!
Arrived at the new co-ords & thought this might be an easy find but it wasn`t to be, checked the obvious spots but have a feeling that I should have looked a bit higher, will keep an eye on this one & hopefully knock it off in the near future.

Arriving at GZ I thought this would be an easy find, gizmo had me at the tree stump but no cache in the likely spot............either that or cache blindness for me today, will keep an eye on this one.

Not a soul around today so a quick find ensued.
Be careful as this place seems to be the wind surfers toilet.
Bring some hand disinfectant when you come to find.
Yuck.

Returned to this one with Act Geojinx who found it for me on the first visit. GZ has had a severe hair cut and we thought it may be gone. All is well but the camo is coming off the container so it's completely covered.
Signed the log myself today, since last time I was helping Platyfly, and because I shared his identity. Had to be careful of windsurfers as they came back to land very quietly and didn't know they were there, until last minute. So some quick stealth was required. TFTC!
Been a massive clean up around this area by council, grass mowed, edges trimmed and all spick and span around GZ, I'm completely stumped, maybe a cache check in order.

Heading to work this morning and in need of a find for today I made the detour past here.
After waiting for an early morning walker to move on I started my search. The gizmo had me all over the place before it finally zeroed in a spot where I eventually had the cache in hand.

As part of a 1st Keiraville patrol activity tadpole7 organised a bike ride around the lake doing every cache around it. Among us was Benzo latte, Ace7, Toadmyster7, Woody Figtree and Xephos. TFTC!
Tadpole7 organised an attempt on the LIPT by bike as her Patrol Activity and with some other 1st Keiraville scouts we headed out. It was decided that a clockwise attempt starting at 1 would be the go. Arrived at GZ with Tadpole7, Ace7, Benzo Latte, HJ Smith, Xephos, Woody figtree and myself. Found the cache safely hidden and thanks xelanhoj for your cache.
Also my 1700th Cache. Woohoo!!!!

Came out on the bike with Tadpole7, Ace7, HJSmith, Benzo Latte, Xenphos and Toadmeister7 to do a lap of the lake to get the series. With 7 sets of eyes looking we made short work of finding the cache. Thanks to the owner and the ICC for putting the series together.
