OK, so TWO in one day, or should I say OUR FIRST Day! We may have started something here ... : )

05-Feb-15
Should have been a quick find but for some bizarre reason I had pursuaded myself it wasnt near the obvious object. It was. Very nice spot here with amazing views across the lake. Left two TBs. TFTC!

07-Jan-15
Got it. Another nice spot on the lake, there are so many spots around the lake that I didn't know about. Great views across to Yallah. TFTC

05-Jan-15
Smashed through the Eastern and Northern sides of Lake Illawarra today.

GPSr had me on wrong side to start with.
With a bit of patience and searching I got to the cache!

Lovely size container, thanks

30-Dec-14
After a short drive from number thirteen I arrived here. There was no one around, which let me do ridiculously unnecessary things during my searching, like getting my feet wet. Eventually I SAW the cache in the fourth and last place it could be, before realising how simple it was and haw hard I made it. Oh well. Signed the cache and moved on.
Thanks for showing me more bridges (I love bridges)!

Reperio at 1640.

Came down from Newcastle this morning ahead of the 10K Milestone event for The Rats this weekend, and today I had the chance to do a few Illawarra caches. Today I didn't have the pleasure of a bike, so I parked nearby and soon had the cache in hand. Enjoyed this series today.

Our 8197th overall find.

Found with FarmerFrentzen on our Christmas break caching trip. A short walk down here to the GZ today. The nearby house owner sure keeps the area tidy. It took us a while to locate the right side but FF eventually came up with the cache.

Thanks h.j.smith for the cache.

04-Jan-14
Found during a run down to Wollongong with Big Matt and Shell.

It had been a little while since we had cached Wollongong and with the publishing of the LIPT we decided it was time to make another trip down south. The weather was near perfect and a very enjoyable day was had making our way around Lake Illawarra and surrounding areas.

Nice to find a real cache container!

Thanks h.j.smith for the cache.

Another day and another cache in my streak. Its day 64 and this equals my best streak.
Heading home from work I was a bit pressed for time so I'd left a nearby cache for such an occasion. Parking nearby I didnt even realise this pathway existed.

Once at GZ I soon had my hands on the cache and it was a pleasure to see an ammo can full of goodies. Signed the log and was on my way.
Thanks H.J

Great to find a nice big cache and a "traditional" container. We took a Scout badge and left a couple of bits and pieces.

31-Aug-13
Tadpole7 organised an attempt on the LIPT by bike as her Patrol Activity and with some other 1st Keiraville scouts we headed out. It was decided that a clockwise attempt starting at 1 would be the go. Arrived at GZ with Tadpole7, Ace7, Benzo Latte, HJ Smith, Xephos, Woody figtree and myself. Found the cache safely hidden and thanks HJ Smith for your cache. (even though you were with us)

31-Aug-13
Came out on the bike with Tadpole7, Ace7, HJSmith, Benzo Latte, Xenphos and Toadmeister7 to do a lap of the lake to get the series. With 7 sets of eyes looking we made short work of finding the cache. Thanks to the owner and the ICC for putting the series together.

Poor Hoojar has been berated for years for failing to find a container of such size but try as I might last time I had no success. This morning, with my needle pointing up to 8m away I made a pretty easy find- I just concentrated on one area last time which was my downfall! Anyway, nice to see such a container on the powertrail. TFTC!

14-Aug-13
Easy to find, nice well stocked cache. Great time of afternoon with the light just right. Steeba will kick himself when he finds this!

Cheers

13-Aug-13
Failing the first time after reports of muggling issues, this second attempt was also done half heartedly seeing the last log was a dnf by an experienced cacher. Just about to give up again when I widened the search away from gz and spotted a suspect container I just couldn’t reach to confirm unless I was an orang-utan! Thankful area was muggle free, improvised with some retrieval tools found nearby and happily signed the log.

08-Aug-13
Search as I might this morning I failed to come up with the goods. Perhaps I need to venture there in more appropriate clothes and get right in but I even took a shoe off this morning Razz.

07-Aug-13
Restocked cache with logbook and some kid friendly stuff. Ready to go again. Thanks to those who added a piece of paper.

05-Aug-13
The description was more help than my iPad here. Left a few goodies-shame to see a cache with such potential devoid of booty. TFTC.

04-Aug-13
It's so windy, seen a wind surfer in the lake, he must be nuts, his flying. Hunt soon came to an end, opened and it was e pty with a piece of paper in it. Added a better piece. TFTC

04-Aug-13
Great container, a bit surprised that someone would take the contents and leave it behind??? Enjoying a cache hunt with friends as we made our way around Lake Illawarra. What a great location to host this series, great idea ICC. I particularly liked the variation in the cache hides and containers. It was extremely windy today and there were some windsurfers and kite boarders screaming across the water. Signed piece of paper..TFTC

04-Aug-13
Travelled today with Baja.15 and J&J.au in order to locate a few in this new series around the lake. What a beautiful location, but I was not so sure about the weather as it could have easily blown the logs away today. Loved the surprises along the way and the thought that everyone has put into their caches, thankyou, it is a bit sad that someone had already muggled this one though!

No log book so we left our sticker (with backing still on) in the container...

Found the cache but it was empty. Was well hidden and as described, but when I opened it was completely empty. I left a scrap of paper with details on it as that was all I had with me. Will contact CO.

Looks like it has been muggled before being published. I had the usual goodies in it and a logbook. For now the piece of paper will have to do as i can't replace it till Wednesday at the earliest. Thanks to whoever placed the paper there.

Found the cache with just a little piece of paper, signed with no name. Only found out who wrote it as I met the cacher a few minutes later!
