Looks like it has gone missing, I will get it sorted in August when I'm back in the area.
..think cache has gone, however well worth the effort to see such beaut scenery! New Zealand we are so lucky!!
Suspect cache may have been washed away....not finding the cache does not distract from the beauty of the place.
We also had no luck with this one, but we were lucky to have some blue skies and sun this day

This cache is awesome. Very glad we stopped for this one. The colours were unreal and the water was so clear we could watch the trout/salmon swimming under the bridges.
This part of the country offered up loads of great photos and we took as many as we could.
+1fav from me.

Absolutely stunning colours and well worth a visit. Unfortunately the sandflies thought so too and GZ was teeming with them. You don’t need spray for the walk or to view the pools but you definitely do for the time it takes to pause and sign the log here.
This one was at a really nice spot! We did enjoy watching the pools! TFTC & Regards from Bremen, Germany pxfritz
Wouldn't have known to come here without seeing the cache. Water looks very inviting, sadly I was a bit too early in the day and a lot of it was on shadow. TFTC
Found it wirh KullerKeks90 on our way from Wanaka to the West Coast. We took a short walk to the Blue Pools. The water was freezing cold:-) TFTC
By the way: To many sandlies around the cache, so be prepared when you look for this!

Shinichi87 and I found this little one on our road trip around the south island. Our beloved Campervan Gimli took us in every little part of the South Island, so we could collect a lot of Caches
The color of the water was amazing

Beautiful spot though we should have come before the sun went behind the trees as the blue would have been more striking. Last time we planned to visit here the track and bridges were under repair and we recall that the walk would have been longer??? Many visitors today but they ignored us as they built their stone piles on the riverbank. TFTC
During our wonderful travel from Christchurch to Steward Island we stopped here for a break. Lovely spot for a cache, and good to find. Many thanks for showing us around.
TFTC - it was busy today - the blue pools were lovely - we could see the fish - then a little scramble to find the cache.
Found this cache during a sabbatical leave couple of years ago. but forgot to log it.
together with 3 others, nice. TFTC

A fellow cacher had his hands on this one first. Lent him my pen only for it to run out just as I wrote the date. Took a photo of the log. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful place.
There are so many things to do and places to see while driving from Queenstown to Franz Josef that it could easily take two or three days. But we had only one day to make the drive, so were guided in our choices of places to stop by geocaching - at least to some degree.
The Blue Pools were very blue the day we visited and we really enjoyed the chance to stretch our legs. It wasn't very busy, either, which was a bonus! TFTC and greetings from Canada.

Find #901 at the Blue Pools on a long day's drive over the amazing but scary Haast Pass! TFTC!
TFTC, found with the help of the hint to get me away from the sand flies quickly.
Found this one during our holidays in New Zealand.
Nice pools! (But the water was a little bit cold)
Thanks for hiding the Cache!

Wow, what agreat spot. Found it during our kiwi traveling around south island.Thank you for placing.
We wouldn't have visited such a nice place if I hadn't discovered that this cache was on our way from Christchurch to wanaka. There wasn't much camo and the cache was quite exposed when I found it, so I covered it a little better. TFTC!
Found on a grey day. Not as picturesque as expected, but a pleasant walk all the same. TFTC.
We were so excited to see the blue pools buuut, when we got there the river was muck brown so no pretty photo opportunities today! The cache was quickly found although the GPS was all over the place so the hint helped! TFTC.
Heading East and just managed to squeek through the pass before they closed the road at 6 pm. Now the pressure was off I walked into see the blue pools with some other tourists. There has been so much rain though the pools were more a cloudy grey/green colour than clear blue. Not to worry.
Also forgot to bring a pen. Hadn't done that for more than a year but now twice in one day. Have posted a photo of the lookbook as evidence of the visit.
Many thanks

That's great last year went to the other side of the bridge to log a cache and these year we hade the opportunity to come back and log a new one love that place
Last one of the day, after Haast Pass. The spot worth the walk, but today, they were not so blue.
Derniere de la journee apres avoir passe Haast Pass. Joli coin, helas, l'eau n'etait pas si bleue que cela.
Thanks for the cache.

It was a short walk and a lot of rain. We found the cache but not the BLUE pools. All water was between yellow and green.

Found with LuckySteaks who got us started with geocaching when we visited them on the South Island and did an epic road trip.
alpenmilch80 and I stopped by on our way from Greymouth to Wanaka and after enjoying the walk and having fun on the suspension bridge we got to GZ where the bugs just loved me so I would recommend you take something against them with you so you don't itch afterwards as bad as I did/do
Thank you for this nice cache and for bringing us to its location.

Wow what a great spot. We had some fun on the suspension bridge jumping around and than continued on to the Blue Pools. I planned to take a walk into the blue pools but ohh it was freezing cold and we were attacked by sand flies. Some more photos and retread to the car... TFTC
Well we will never forget this cache. I went to make the grab while the wife stayed in the car. On my return she said 'I am sure there has just been an earthquake'. When we got to our hotel she checked and yes there was a 4.6 on the Richter Scale earthquake at 1259hrs 40 miles SE of Haast! Thanks for a memorable cache.
A quick find on our way to the home of the sandflies: Haast. Stunning place there. Thanks for showing. TFTC
This had been our first trip to New Zealand. We spent three weeks here in this amazing country, which is unfortunately quite a short time. We saw a lot of gorgeous places, met very friendly people, could see the different landscapes like deserts, rain forests, glaciers and oceans. And of course animals like Kiwis (never thought that they are so big), dolphins, seals, glow worms, penguins (I love the blue ones). It was hard to say good bye and go back to the winter in Europe.
We hope to come back one time...Greetings from Germany / Switzerland.
On our way from Franz Josef to Queenstown we made a stop at the beautiful Blue Pools. As everybody was looking at the amazing blue colour we could search for the cache without beeing observed. Nice and quick find.
Thank you for maintaining the cache.

No problems finding this GZ. Great walk though don't stop moving as the sandflies will attack! TFTC.
an amazng place here. we take a lot of pictures, but we had no time to stay long here. TFTC
We found this cache on our 3,5-week journey through New Zealand. What an amazing country. Sorry for this short log, but time is short and we would see so more things. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Germany. AchSu
Great location and easy find thanks to the clues as the GPS doesn't work too well in the trees. We went for 120km ride on the BMW to here. It was Mrs Guzzi's turn to pick which way we went. We were greeted by the birds and the dappled sunlight through the trees. Have to give this cache a favourite point because of the location but it would be nice to see a better and larger container for such a worthy location.
during my trip around NZ, I have found this cache.
I would like to thank all the owners for the awesome Caches.

No blue, no view. Just green-brownish water as in any river around and only clouds and rain around
Thank you for getting me back to this special place. The trout in the pools are as big and lazy as ever!
