Logs
Saw in prev logs that it was near a Rick not the fence, the grass is very long. Searched for a while but we couldn't find it.
After a bit of hunting, ‘F’ made the find. Love the unexpected places caching takes us. Gave this one a fave point because we wouldn’t have even noticed otherwise. SL TNLN Thanks for this one.
Thanks Kellickguider. This one took us longer than it should have! Enjoying this back road!
Out with RoddyC while in Bathurst house sitting.
Caching to day in the area.
Quick easy find down into the icy grasses. The sun has not reached here yet.

Hatzofff and I are in Bathurst for a few weeks house sitting, and of course have time for lots of caching.
Today we journey out along Freemantle Road then across the river and back to town.
Saw the grave. Found the cache. Very frosty morning.

No way to access anyway, so thanks very much for the history lesson. It's humbling to think of those early pioneers and what they must have experienced!
Hill End and Mudgee weekend April 2018. I set out late on Thursday after a small car battery issue. I only stopped once before a night at Bummeroo ford. Friday took me to Orange via many spread out caches between Oberon and Bathurst. I spent the night at Macquarie woods. Saturday started foggy and then warmed up. I was heading to Hill end, and did make it, but I had to give up on the Bridle track due to a rockfall. Late in the evening I did find a spot along the Turon river and the very bumpy northern section of the Bridle trail. Sunday had me finishing the TRLT trail from Mudgee to Gulgong and a few missed ones in the middle of nowhere. The last day was a simple drive home from Sofala. A great weekend !
Today held plenty of quick roadside stops as well.
Thanks.

14908. Found during a run up around the Bathurst region (again) with minniek.
A lovely days caching in a now familiar area. Next stop for the day along this scenic road. Quick find by minniek. Always sad to see a lonely grave (although this one is probably empty). Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !!

Another great day for caching with fitzy_1965. Headed up to the Bathurst area to fill in some more gaps.
Quick find here today. Such a lonely little grave Thanks for bringing us here.

Saw the grave off on the other side of the fence.
Nice easy find on the way back to Bathurst from an orienteering event at Ophir. TFTC.

Decided to do this one and the one nearby today to cross off a Christmas find after dropping the kids to their Mums. Interesting spot this one and not a place I would have stopped if not for this game. Also cleared a 30 K radius from my place in Orange with this find. TFTC
A quick and easy find on my drive from Orange to Bathurst today
It took me far longer to actually spot the grave

This was not the planned cache for today but a very late fire call left me with not enough time to get to Orange before midnight.
Pulled up at GZ and made a rather quick find given the hide type.

Found it! Just on a pre work caching run. I almost didn't look there! Glad I did. SL TFTC

As with previous logs make sure you arrive armed with a good knowledge of the cache history and caching in general. Land owner popped on down to check if I was "ok" but I was prepared and we had a good yarn and then he was on his way. He did mention it looked easier to find than when it was first set so told him I would disguise it better.
So cache of the day completed, thought I would take some time to go for a bit of a drive on Sunday.

Found after working in the Bathurst district for a few days. Certainly an interesting site that would have passed me by unnoticed if not for the cache. The paddock had lambs and lamas but the property owner was conspicuous by his absence (although he may have been watching from afar). Duties done, I was on my way. Many thanks KellickGuider
What a sad sight - even more so as the grave has started to collapse. Just as well we know something about it as we were investigated by the landowner. TFTC
We were accosted by the landowner who said he was having problems with people dumping rubbish. We had a nice chat about the grave, but even after he want back to work he still kept an eye on us. Cachers need to go prepared to talk about the grave! Thanks Kellickguider.
This was an interesting find for me as the baby buried here was the sibling of my great grandfather. It's good to learn about your own family history and this must have been a very sad time for the family.
Took a bit of a search, but we eventually came up with the find.
Thanks for your information TFTC KellickGuider.

Interesting...
My found log on this cache doesn't show up (meanwhile other caches logged at the same time with the same device show up immediately.)
In the interim, this note is just a heads up to others would-be FTFers, that this cache has indeed been found. Alas the FTF was already taken when I got there!

Nice drive, nice spot. Had us confused for a while as GPS was sending us to the middle of the road. TFTC. Not the FTF.
No worries ljc44 and congrats on the FTF.
I came out here at lunch with a tiny hope that the FTF was still available, but after 24+ hours I can hardly be surprised! The cache itself tells a really sad story... And is a bit if a cheeky hide that may be easy or difficult depending on the previous finder! Thanks again KellickGuider!

Only my second FTF. Sorry Griz and Acx5 for not entering the log last night.
