Traveled to the Copper Triangle and the Mid-North for a weekend of caching. Drove up via Roseworthy through to Balaklava on the Saturday, on a very convoluted route to search for caches along the way, before heading across for the dinner event at Moonta. Camped out nearby for the night and attended the early morning CITO in Paskeville, then toured the back-roads around Bute to complete The Big Question series with e.gregory1. Spent the rest of the Sunday around Snowtown and Lochiel before heading for home. Thanks for the cache Jeremiah Bullfrog!
A nice few hours caching west/southwest of Riverton searching for any caches not previously found by us.Many thanks for the hide Jeremiah Bullfrog

Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Drizzly day but the farmers definitely need it. Sticking to the black and the white roads. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. We are doing a bit of sightseeing around the Barossa using geocaching as our guide. Such a beautiful (black & white) tracks to follow. Thanks for the cache.

Day 1 of my 5 day Geocaching long weekend away. This would be Find Number 19 of 38 for the day.
Out collecting a few of those caches that are just a bit off the main roads today. So many of these little communities that disappeared over time it is ashame they couldn't all flourish.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel. Today we arrived in Hamley Bridge.
Using geocaching as our tour guide, we set out today on a round trip from Hamley Bridge to Owen and return via Barabba.
We started the APM series on our drive from Balaklava to Mallala, and returned today to cache a few more.
Thank you for bringing us here Jeremiah

This arvo I headed out after work to try and find enough caches to get to 8000.
Mission accomplished.
What a fab afternoon it was, love country caching and today was perfect for it. Not too hot. Enjoyed the scenery and finding lots of regular sized caches. Even better didn’t encounter any snakes or other scary wildlife.
Unfortunately had to stay back at work for an hour so didn’t manage to get to all the caches on my list but that didn’t spoil the afternoon.
Now hoping my Pies can win this last quarter then this will have been a real good day.
Had to think about heading home so went back to Mallala via this wee spot. Quick find and sign here, lovely spot TFTC

An interesting stop today. I have visited this area previously, but not realised the history - thanks for the detailed cache page.
Stamped log as "Fabulous Randoms"
The weather was average but the day was enjoyable as there were caches to find
Thanks so much for the cache Jeremiah Bullfrog! [^]

Mrs Parrot loved this location and took lots of pictures of the Post Office and a famer on a tractor who passed by.
After completing the unicorn and some of the prime minister series I detoured home, I had never been through here before. A nice and quiet place. TFTC
I love finding rocks and things that shouldn't be there they can get to naturally!
Thanks for the history lesson of this lovely place.. But even the private dwelling is no more and is for sale;
walls being marked as unstable

Another Tuesday caching day with Mrs. SA Sewer Rat and Blackadders. Today we thought we might head north to clear up a few more DNF's and grab any other caches we might be passing.
Not very much left here now. The cache however was a quick find.
**Thanks Jeremiah Bullfrog for this cache. **

A trip up north with a Rat and a Starfish collecting a few new caches and many others that we had yet to get.
Another remnant of time gone by, neglected and abandoned. Such a shame these places are not looked after. TFTC

TFTC So happy to see greenery now where there was so much blackness & bleakness not so long ago.
Took the long way to work for a night shift,
some interesting roads around this way, and a sad tale or two.
The devastation of the Pinery fire is evident all along these roads still.
Amazing the cache survived with only a melted bag on the old log inside as evidence of what had happened around it

Found on an afternoon cache run finding our unfound caches for this area. Thanks Jeremiah for the cache
Out and about with my Uncle "Scrappy Trucker" , He's been down for a week exploring our beautiful state so I decided to take him for a drive in the back roads to do a few caches here and there
It was awesome to open up this cache to find it in tact but the zip lock bag was melted around the log. It survived the fire. It just gave me a happy feeling opening it.. We have left it as is so others can be amazed when they open it
Thanks for the cache Jeremiah Bullfrog

Decided to have a nice day out with DarknStormy doing some caching. This was a clever hide and very pleased to see that it survived the bush fires. TFTC TNLN.
Amazed this one is still here, had to fight off a Redback that had taken to guarding it though
I've been helping with BlazeAid clearing fences after the fires. we started at 645 today because it is 40C in the shade. We started right by the cache, i found it in good condition, although the plastic ziplock bag had melted around the log book. The paint on the exterior was intact, and the stone on top was uncharred, but the trees all round were burnt black. The area is pretty desolate and not much fun for caching but this can go back online.
Edited for spelling errors: my thumbs weren't working on the phone today.

A big thank you to FourW for checking this cache and pronouncing it findable.
A BIG thank you also for helping with BlazeAid. Many volunteers are helping us get back on our feet.
Thankyou to all who volunteer in any capacity. It is very much appreciated.

Because of the recent horrendous fire, this will be disabled until I can visit and assess the situation. A BIG THANK YOU to all who helped at this time.
There are many Shadows of the past in the countryside. It is wonderful to imagine how life was like so many years ago. Thanks Alison and Co for bringing us here.
Having celebrated CPwanderer's 11,000th cache, Owl and Aussie M&M took him to start towards the next milestone. This was a quick find once Mrs M pointed Owl in the right direction.
Taking squash99 for a driving lesson so better way to get some hour's up then a bit of caching TFTC
With a child free day we thought we would go for a pleasant drive in to some beautiful country and knock off some more caches that we had in the area. This was the 12 of the 13 that we did today.
Thank you Jeremiah Bullfrog

Out and about today with earthlight looking for suitable spots to hide caches and of course find caches as we go, another quick find in a cool location. TFTC
It’s a shame there’s nothing left of the school or church.
I couldn’t decide if that was the smallest Post Office I had seen; that, or the one at Sheoak Log [^].
Interesting spot. Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers .

Haven't found any caches for a while, so thought I would drag Mum out to look for this one as it is near by. TFTC Jeremiah, Mum says, see you at the OBC one day!

Over Easter Di and I joined with another six couples and spent some time in the Stockport Caravan Park where we had a very enjoyable stay. This park is highly recommended for a quiet getaway.
Whilst there we found a number of caches in the near vicinity and this was one that I found and signed.
I also found another nearby that is no longer active on the site, however it was in good condition.

Had to go to Pt Pirie for work so took my time on the way and picked up a few caches.
Thanks to all who put caches out.
A nice easy find. I didn't intend to come here but the TomTom bought me the long way to another cache so, might as well get this one.
