A quick hunt for this one. Nothing obvious found. Suspect its missing but only spent 2 minutes searching...
Container was missing but we found the piece of paper and signed it and we have hidden it a bit so it's fine now
this cache really needs maintenance. it's log is full & the container lid is broken. there was a backing of a piece of paper in the cache but because of the broken lid, it is sodden.
Another quick one. The "streaks" are living up to their name. needs a new log though. Tftc!
Having an explore around these parts. Grateful for a shady spot to rest. Lid is broken
found the geocache this morning. Log is slightly full though. nice cache in a nice walkway.
#10263. The last of the this series that was still around that I hadn't found. It was a quick find, and then off to do a spot of street walking. TFTC.
Time to head back to the house and have a breather before venturing out in the car to locate some other caches around Nelson / visit my older Sister in Mot. Would have loved to do all the series but time is valuable on this trip. Haven't seen the sisters for 5 years since they left ChCh after the quakes. This time caching is second on the list.
Nice disguise. I was fooled for a couple of minutes by something that looked like a typical cache cover-up.
Nice quick find here - enjoying caching in the area.
We were soon out of the danger zone!

Day One: On holiday with tmann421 exploring the top of the South Island. Lots of geocaches found and adventures had in the collection of many a cache. Thanks to all the CO's for making this a thoroughly enjoyable trip.
Quick find and one more of the series completed.

We called it a day after finding this one, the hill climbing had taken it out of us (we should be used to it coming from Wellington). We enjoyed the views on the way to GZ. TFTC
Our second look for this one after many drive-bys. Last time we ran out of batteries (or at least our device did).
This time a reasonably quick find. Thanks Eder-Ents and good to meet you at the recent event.

Another weekend day, another mission, and another time with the Seagnoid in the co-pilots seat. Todays target was types in a day; I was targetting an improvement on my previous (puny) five and seven were up for grabs (wish I'd 'saved' the Brightwater virtual a couple of weeks ago but ho hum)
A not so early start time had us on the road just after seven and getting back oround 9 in the evening made another long, but satisfying, caching day and experience. we were targetting traditional, multi, mystery/puzzle, earth, letterbox, wherigo and event in Stoke to be the cherry on the cake. In the end I managed a satisfying six types, gave up on the earth ccahe at Kina Sea cliffs as too far to walk with the start time for the event looming. Still managed over 50 in a day which was very satisfying, including a bonus F T F to finish the day off, thanks gahaylock.
Post event and a few park and grab caches were what was wanted to finish off the day
No problems here, replaced as found

[green] Out again with Capperz. This time with a more relaxed 7am start. Mainly to go to an event in Nelson, but let's face it - its just to go geocaching again. A number of aims, the main one being to get Capperz seven cache types in one day (I already have eight), but alas we could not squeeze the earth cache in. Still, we managed to upgrade his bronze badge to gold. On the way we found too many nanos and bisons, too many DNFs (mostly in Stoke - Is there something about that place I should know?) and even a brand new empty logbook!
I spent too much time looking in the wrong places. Capperz went for the quick find!

Took the scenic route to work today - which just happened to take me past a cache . Good to get a drive-by with the rain threatening. A quick find and sign, that camo tape is very effective.
Appreciative of another streak cache to help with my streak. Day #216. TFTC.

For the sake of sanity we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!
We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!
Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.
Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!
So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!
Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.
Consec caching day # 706

Another wee path discovered today, ncie and simple. Time for a breather before ehading back to town. Cheers
Getting a little desperate to keep my streak going but a quick stop off here just before end if school paid dividends. Good camo but an easy find.
A nice quick find in the dark on our way back to our accommodation. This is our last They call it the Streak for this trip.

After finding the cache container in early December....about 30m from here...and the log paper about 20m somewhere else...it was good to see that it was back and ready to go!!

Handy that the neighboring house is on the market at the moment, as it provided a good reason to stand on the footpath scribbling on a piece of paper, while muggles passed. TFTC
A quick stop on the Ridgeway on the way into town. Co ordinates were spot on so had cache logged before you could say Geocache!! Thanks for the cache.
Nice One!!!!!!!!!!!Out for a bit of a Streak cleanup. Was put off at first and then common sense took over and a quick find was made. Muggles coming from down below, so quick exit fro GZ. Much fun. thanks.
Second time lucky, mission previously aborted due to heavy rain, GPS getting stuck and upset baby. Quick run from the car this time, all ok. TFTC
This time I decided to let Mum find it as long as she put me on the log, I was about 20m from it anyway. TFTC
Streaking off into town I thought I'd take the back way this morning. No cat to greet me so it took a wee bit longer as I went to the "sign" instead of following the needle - doh.

We were caught unaware with geocaching. com off line for maintenance. Just for events like that we have a plan B to keep on streaking. This is not the closest to home but near to it. A quick find with Holymu. Thank you E-E for the Streak series.
Second time lucky! Not to look for this cache but to find ANY cache today to maintain our 'streak'. This morning our phones insisted Geocaching was offline then the rain started in earnest so we headed back to drier and warmer climes and once the rain cleared we ventured out again to here. TFTC.
met by friendly ginger cat who seemed to know what we were here for, became very excited when we tried to hide the cache
good one
thank you for the cache.
good one
thank you for the cache.
Driving pass so why not another one not doing these in any sort of order still great to see all theses new ones
Met by Ginger Cat (a real feline) which showed us where danger was lurking...it really did seem to know where gz was ! Nice evening ,lotsa birds twittering, probably laughing at the cat. Thanks Eder-Ents.
A "greedy cat" type of lovely cat showed us the cache tonight. Haha, it clawed at a tree nearby
Thanks, easy find
Thanks, easy find
3 DNFs in a row today!; that's not quite the sort of streak I was trying to set when I woke up this morning. I really don't enjoy certain urban caches next to houses with vague hints. But when trying to find a cache every day for 31 days you have to be flexible and take what's offered. Fortunately this hide was set up well and made for a perfect walk by and grab to keep one streak ticking and end another one.
Thanks Eder-Ents for placing this cache.

Found after finding number 5!!! TFTC. Really enjoying the series and appreciate the efforts you are making EE. Cheers!!
Having read #1 and learning all about this streak carry on, I then wondered what happened to the mentioned series. Of course, scrolling down the cache published list, found they were placed earlier. On the bike for quick find. Thanks for the cache
FTF Yay! A 2nd FTF, 2 days in a row from the same CO - now that's a streak that I don't think I'll be able to sustain. I was out and about (literally) finding another cache when this one was published. Had a quick look on my phone to see where it was and recognised the location from an old archived cache of my own. Decided that I might as well have a look on my way home and put my hand on the cache in the first spot I checked. Thanks again E-E for getting into the spirit of the thing and TFTC, Biggles.
Yay 2nd to find the 2nd streak cache!! Gosh i'm stupid, got to the general area and realised i forgot to get co-ords! Searched for a while in all the likely spots and decided to go home again and get the details. Arrived back at GZ and the silly cache was exactly where i was looking, i just didn't fully invest myself!! What a waste of petrol. I'm amazed all these little walkways are not already taken with a cache! We are always trying to find spots like this for hides! TFTC!!
Too nice after work not to take the long way to the shop. New GPS was back to normal so it was an immediate find. 2 from 2 on the 2nd.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Qnatre is right!!!! I spent some considerable time looking right down the barrel of a DNF. Where was Mrs S when I needed her?!?!? How could I be so blind?!?!? But then. YAAAYYYY. Just as I was giving up completely, that "AHA" moment - - - and there it was!!!! TFTC. Still streaking - - - -
