I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi AmbertrafficlightsThe land that the final of this cache is located is now private land.It appears that the final location may not be accessible any more, so you will need to either place a new container and amend the listing, or archive the listing.I will check back in about 30 days and if there are no CO updates, the cache will be archived.RegardsTheCoddwompler
Have had the solution to this one confirmed by the geochecker for a while. On visiting, the area has changed drastically and the stretch of road the cache should be alongside no longer exists. It looks like the area is now private land (part of the major inland port project in the area) and is surrounded by tall walls and fences. Doesn't look like the owner is active guessing it's best that a reviewer take a look
Had this solved for awhile and decided to do a trip around the university today. The final for this however seems to no longer be accessible due to the inland port and I wasn't able to get anywhere near it.
In failing light the Brisbane contingent arrived at GZ. The area has had a lot of work in recent times and the rubbish is still around. Found the cache after extensive looking and found a spot to scrawl out initials. Thanks for the engineering test Ambertrafficlights.
Day 4: We ( TeamARF, Gcoven and myself) have travelled over from Brisbane, Australia to have a visit since we were not able to make it to the Mega. We have spent some considerable time solving puzzles and making plans in preparation.
Today the plan is to work on collecting things of our list. We have a gigantic list of old, interesting, highly favourited, challenges and a few Geo-arts to try and collect over the next 10 days. There is a good chance we got lazy with our logging and do some joint variation of our initials - TGJ, GJT or JGT.
Please excuse the generic log, just have extremely little data to try and survive on it for the 10 days. However, you can be assured that if we have found your cache it was special to us for some reason or in a special location - so thank you for contributing to our holiday.
I will edit logs when back in Brisbane to add more details to those that need more details and of course I will be adding favourite points as I go along.

Another day in the land of the long white cloud. TeamARF, JACSTeam and I headed back toward Auckland gathering caches as we drove along. A few odd ones today but happy overall with the day. I had booked us a place rather remote so a tad more driving than we had anticipated plus a road closure altered our plans the next morning. Still heaps of fun and some some fab caches. Thanks to all the COs
Solved by the engineer and found after a good fossick in the grass, no shrubbery to be seen! TFTC!
Son in law solved this for me as he's a math wizz. Found easily after reading previous logs as coords are off.
Nice to have a puzzle I understand and can do. Thanks for the effort in setting it up.
Had to have a lot of help with the questions. I only knew the answer to a few of them. Found the final cache pretty easily once I had the coordinates. The final cache site really needs a clean up. I didn't have any bags or gloves with me but there was tonnes of trash ️
Cache placed and found by me! Hopefully this won't be a difficult find in the future as the puzzle is quite difficult to do prior to finding the cache. Still only 2m from the sign, and slightly covered with shrubbery as the original was
I solved this puzzle with the help of a young friend a couple of weeks ago, and went to look for the cache today. Searched high and low for over half an hour amidst rubbish and weeds in a not so salubrious area. Finally concluded that since it was last found (7 months ago) that it has been muggled or else been eaten by a mower. I will replace this cache as I have messaged the owner and not heard back, but I doubt that I will hear back from the owner who hasn't been caching since 2014 according to the statistics.
I really enjoyed this cache- right up my alley. Maths answers are usually clear cut. The only question I had trouble with was the physics one. Back in the day I was accredited Physics as they were desperate for chemistry students (physics being a prerequisite). I have not really been disadvantaged by not learning any physics but I enjoy challenges. In this case I worked through the options until I got the tick. The find was no trouble and low not high. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Ambertrafficlights
Great puzzle .
Took me back to my school days... suddenly realized how much I had forgotten... but was soon on track...found and signed log today..thanks ambertrafficlights for your cacheenjoyable

On a roadie with Some of Team BoP, NZ Flossy, Davidson Clan and Philip. Perry, and I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers A very difficult puzzle for me!!
Found with Philip.Perry McJandals and Nzflossy we were in the area caching quick find here.
Cache in good order.

As with the other one this was a group solve. Very glad to have brainy friendsarrived at GZ and looked up - nope. Reread logs and looked around - maybe???? Thank goodness to spot that one and yes very hard to open. I think this cache has really walked and needs maintenance. TFTPC
No particular plan today but a group of us have been diligently working away at some of the Hamilton puzzles and now it's time to collect. I met up with Davidson Clan and managed to bag 21 today which wasn't even half of what I'd planned but the weather was horrible. That combined with all the DNFs made this a pretty difficult day however at least I'm not working
I almost had to open the old school books for this solve - it was an interesting trip through memory lane that's for sure. I had a bit of a laugh here at gz as I opened the car door and found the cache right at my feet. Getting into it was another issue because that lid was well rusted shut. Now after signing my final problem was - where's it suppose to live? Given the container is magnetic I've replaced it accordingly. Cheers Ambertrafficlights, TFTC

After finishing up work this morning I decided to make the most of the afternoon by heading south for some cache detection. I, mostly, had good weather for it and was keen to sign off on a number of solved puzzle caches. I solved this one a month or two back. Most of it fell into place rather nicely. A couple of digits I wasn't so sure on so a bit of careful mapping narrowed the options down and I soon got the checker to agree. Anyway, I parked up next GZ and noted how this area is much changed since placement; I very much doubt that the original hide is still in place given the changes. However, I had paid attention to the previous logs so had no trouble locating the replacement hide. Though I did need my trusty TOTT to open the rusty lid. Cheers for the testing puzzle cache placement!
Hayleyfcy solved this one without my help (though, I too, have taken some science courses in my day). The find was easy once we realized things had changed (and a previous finder told their tale of being vertically challenged).
Having a science major is definitely helpful for this mystery cache. Happy to have solved it with minimal help from Google. Was fun! Got to GZ and was slightly disappointed that we couldn't find the original cache until we read the previous logs about the replacement. We're not tall people but had no problems retrieving and putting back the cache. Tftc
Thanks for the puzzles. Those simultaneous equations are a killer but we got there in the end. Found the cache easily enough... but at 5 ft 2" it was impossible for me to retrieve it to sign the log. If I'd read the previous logs first and realized lack of height would be a problem I probably wouldn't have bothered to do the puzzles.
Solved this puzzle a few weeks ago after having trouble with one of the questions, but managed to get there in the end.
We have done it once again with this cache just like a few others - having not read the previous logs went searched for the original cache and sure enough it is there in exactly the place it should be on the ground. It is a large plastic peanut butter container with yellow lid. Contents are a little damp but still okay to sign. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

That was fun. A good puzzle but the cache proved more challenging due to its placement. Even harder to return. Lucky I've got a long probe. TFTC.
Wanting a boredom buster after work and before dinner, I decided to solve one of the closest puzzles near me (that aren't those stupid dots puzzles) and chose this one. I had to fudge one of the answers, but I was impressed that I got most of the equation to the last one without looking up the formula. Win!
Thanks for the puzzle, and cheers for the replacement cache..
Thanks for the puzzle, and cheers for the replacement cache..
2837 Had been looking at this for some time but kept putting it in the tooo hard basket. Had time this morning so sat down and came up with some figures. Geochecker did not agree but google maps looked promising so I went for a look. Cache spotted but could not collect as traffic was consistent. Then a muggle walked down the road. After she passed I quickly made the grab and sign. Then, at 2 different times, cars parked across the road so had to wait for them to leave. Had no sooner replaced when the nearby train warning lights sounded. Pleased to have finally got this one.
We enlisted the help of a visiting nephew over the Christmas Break, and he had the puzzle sorted without too much head scratching. Thanks to GenCuster's recent efforts we were able to visit/sign the log sheet this morning. TFTC.
Solved this ages ago with help aplenty from Google. I think the only one we managed on our own was the algebra and one of the other answers I think we worked through brute force on the Geochecker. Visit GZ a while back but like the previous finder, coordinates were out (in the middle of the road), area completely overgrown and with soooo much trash you could do an entire CITO event here and still probably not get it all. Cache was nowhere to be found so left this to search another day. After its recent "replacement", took a slight detour and spied it from my car. A difficult retrieval for me, but I'm sure others won't have the same problem Signed log & then had as much trouble returning it to its location. Hoping that it's not muggled as no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't quite get it lined up. TFTP - certainly stretched our brains! & TFTC - especially to GenCuster for replacing!
12/11/16 21:21 Replaced the container with a galvanised silver small eclipse tin that is on the hint object. Which has recently been replaced. No more getting wet. But you need to reach high. The cache has two magnets which should face the metal pole rather than the not-so-metallic other bit. It also needs a decent log sheet as my temp one may become damp. Thanks for the puzzle, Cheers, GC.
29/10/16 Bit naffed, gorram! No object as specified in the geochecker within 50m, rubbish aplenty, no findable cache. GZ in middle of road. So which side? Vegetation growing and smells foody... Already replaced one cache today for this owner - and that was about 8m out... What else can I complain about? Moving on...
The Microbiology was a bit of a roadblock - we didn't do any of this in the standards or forms! The rest of the quiz was suitably interesting/challenging and as Crusaderwoman said "the shrubbery smells like something used in Maser Chef that was a weed when we were kids!". Into the GZ and quickly found. TFTC
Another one we have had the co ordinates for but not managed to get out to look for - found today after a bit of a poke around
Out and about fighting the elements while finding a few specific caches towards a challenge we are working on. Managed to solve all but the first question but finally managed a green tick with a bit of jiggling of numbers. In the area today to make the find TFTC.
The 1st day of winter and time to go and get some caches. Very peaceful late afternoon on a public holiday tftc The platic bag in the container is wet
Found the maths a bit hard on the initial attempt to solve. Had another look recently and managed to answer most, the rest with Mr Googles help. No problem making the find today. Thanks very much Ambertrafficlights

One of us really enjoys science based puzzles and this one didn't cause me too much trouble. The first question being the exception!
Find took some time but we eventually found the little sucker!

After overnighting at Porritt Stadium we spent a few hours around Hamilton picking up a few puzzles and doing a bit of maintenance on our own caches. First stop was for some Science and Maths fun. Nice to finally sign the log on this one since we had been first to solve the puzzle. Thanks.
Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url]
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands [8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]
During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:
Chapter 21: [green]Rotorua[/green] to [red]Hamilton[/red]
After we had seen some of the beautiful places in [green]Rotorua[/green] we continued our trip to [Navy]'Hamilton'[/Navy]
During our long drive we were also looking for some caches
This unknown cache was one of them
Solving these riddle was a lot of fun for me
Arrived at GZ we needed some minutes to find the cache
I would like to thank all the cache owners for showing us these great places and maintaining all these caches,

A bit of team work & puzzle solved, it's amazing what a group of science nerds can do when they put their minds to it. Quickly found with Greep, matrix 10101 & mad totara. TFTC
3.45pm - Another puzzle that had been bugging me, couldn't quite get answer so had to use my resources to solve, so glad this one is now off the to do list. SLTFTC
Gap (of Fap and Gap) had a small job to do in Tamahere, and I tagged along for the ride. We had our sights set on a couple of caches...
This was one of those puzzles that require some expertise... I was able to answer the science questions (I am the Science Lead Teacher at my school), but the maths questions are at another level from Primary School Maths. Luckily, Gap had the know-how to complete the picture, so this was well solved. We arrived at the final and questioned the likelihood of this ground zone. There were all sorts of bits and bobs hidden through the plantings and the cache container was not out of place... An unusual choice for a final location. TFTP and TFTC.

There was a bit of a team effort at work to solve this puzzle. It's briefly been on the solved pile and I wasn't originally planning to get this far on today's bicycle excursion but it wasn't much further and I'm glad I went. There was more traffic on this road than I had anticipated, so some calculated timing was required. Thanks for the cache.

Used every degree in the room to solve this one. Then found lots of broken glass before getting the cache. tftp.
So, all that stuff I learned in school was useful after all! Had to Google the Biology questions though.

Science and Maths sure can be fun, got my friend to solve this one too, then it was up to us to find the cache, it was still there but not much left of the shrub, there was a man nearby measuring up for a new fence so it may pay to keep an eye on this location!!

Solved this one back in July when it was published and finally got time to stop off and have a look for the cache. There are a lot of broken glass bottles in the undergrowth around GZ and I didn't feel comfortable having Master 4 searching with me, so we gave up. Maybe a bit wussy of me, but I didn't fancy either of us poking our hands into the grass and coming away with cut hands, or cut jandalled feet!
Had to resort to googling a lot of the questions, eventually got a green tick, Took a bit of rumaging around, but eventually found it
Dunno much about geography
Dunno much trigonometry
Dunno much about algebra
But I do know I love puzzle caches .... & found this in the company of SWaT team. Thanks for reminding me of my occasional capabilities .... [^]

#6491. Last find of day meandering from Auckland to Hamilton (via Pukekohe and Te Aroha). Troodles was keen to get this puzzle while we were in the 'tron, and was we were passing we stopped to look. GZ didn't look particularly promising, but after much walking pole poking the cache was located. TFTC.
I am more a mathematician than a scientist, so google was employed to track down some of the answers. Thanks for the fun and the cache.
Well who doesn't like a bit of maths and science! I know we do!
And Kaisho53 likes a find!
This is Day 4 of our trip to the Land of the Long White Cloud for the 2013 NZ MEGA event in Auckland. I joined Gunnie69 and Kaisho53 for a fun packed 5 days of geocaching adventures. The day was in the Waikato region doing the Kiwi Art Project caches and some others in Hamilton.

This cache certainly tested the grey matter and required some maths that I have to say is a bit...err...a lot... rusty... Numbers were revealed though and the checker agreed, so Ghostgums, Kaisho53 and I made our move while in NZ for the Mega Event... [^]
ONce at GZ, the hunt was on and it was not long til Kaisho53 secured the find. We added a sticker to the log to mark our visit, then tucked it away and moved on. Now, if only the puzzle was sorted as quick as the find...
Cheers Ambertrafficlights.

The 17 year old of the team would agree with you, he loves maths and science so had this quickly solved and finally in the area today. TFTC
Today was a training day for the Hamilton Half Marathon that is fast approaching. Was lacking a little bit of motivations so decided to add some geocaching into the run.
10km, 1hr 5 and 3 caches... I think I should do this more often..
Thanks for the motivation to get off my bum.

11976... Got Midi YuGeo to solve this puzzle, he needed a break from his University Studies, TFTP&C.
I enlisted the help of a friend of mine who is a Physics teacher in solving the puzzle. When I checked my answers I was met with a red cross so I contacted the CO to let me know which question(s) I (they) had wrong and then worked on the problem myself and was happy to earn the green tick. GZ was not far out of my way today and the cache was quickly located. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache. Collected Geocoin.
Added quite a few red x's because couldn't solve a couple of the answers but finally got there and quick find at GZ.
Thanks for the frustration

Did a quick check on cache. Dropped off some sunglasses and a trackable. Congrats to all the people who have solved it even if you can't make it to the cache =D
Woohoo,
Tick #11 for us, ended up solving them all after a few red crosses after assuming a couple of them.... learnt a few things and even found a few helpful online solvers........
Look forward to picking up the solved puzzle next time we pass through H town.

Started solving this one on the day of publishing, but once C&D had claimed the FTF, decided not to stay up all night and finish the solve. Spent a few hours on it the next day, and thought I'd got all the answer but all I was getting was a red cross. Rechecked my answers and asked the CO which problems were leading me astray. Once I knew which problems I had wrong the green tick soon followed.
Left the find until today, as today was a dot day (I thought I'd better start filling in the days without a cache find). Cache was being guarded by a couple of muggle ducks.
Thanks for the great puzzle, I look forward to more in the future!!!

Winding down after a day of caching fun so pleased to find this and especially to be second in the log. A joint effort with the research, but had to rely on PP's math's abilities for those tricky ones. Thanks for stretching the brains.
Reading some of the other logs, now wish I had a job that meant I had time to solve puzzles at work lol!! Had fun solving, & debating my ancient recall vs young teen's recent learnings, on the night of publication. Suspected (correctly) that the FTF hounds would already be on their way so opted to wait until tonight when it was a simple detour from geokids' sport activities. Thankfully, didn't take too long to find in the dark & happy with a podium finish Thanks for the puzzle, Ambertrafficlights, & TFTC
Always good to have a Level 3 NCEA student studying Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Calculus in the team. He made short work of this one and treated it as just another piece of homework. Looking forward to picking up both your puzzles next time we are in the area.
The first green tick is ours. Having some background in science has to pay off occasionally.
Thanks for the mental workout.

Oh how I cursed the CO for this little gem and here I was on my way to Auckland when it was published. Just my luck. However that didn't stop me slowly working on it through the day and coming up with almost it all, PAF to confirm some of my maths once I got home and noted it still hadn't been logged. Very surprised at that.
Well after a heated conflab we got the little green tick and I rushed out the door to collect. Oh how slow traffic moves when you're trying to get that cache (remembering that "Shoes are optional").
I was greated by a blank logbook, WOW FTF 2 in a month.
Thanks for the gray matter workout

Printed off the cache page from work earlier today and brought it home to solve. No problems with any of the questions (having relevant qualifications helped!) but there was a subtle change to the puzzle wording AFTER I had printed the page. I doubted my answers and tried dozens of combinations in Geochecker before realising the text had been updated! Ho hum, got there in the end but not before someone else had already logged the find. I drive close to here regularly so will stop and sign the log sometime soon.
Thanks for the brain work-out - took me right back to my 6th-form days : )

Please, when you find a mistake in your puzzle after publication and correct it, ADD A NOTE TO THE WEB PAGE!!! It was only when I read KatyAndScott's log that I realised that there was a change, and my print out was incorrect .
On a positive note, I now know the difference between elastic and inelastic collisions and am adding this to my list of solved puzzles for when we are next up north.

So very sorry, the wording in one of the puzzles was wrong and I didn't think to put a note in here after I changed it, oops (I guess I know for next time). I am glad you learnt something Troodles! I think people may have enjoyed this so I may make another sometime soon (WITHOUT mistakes I hope!!)
Sorry, another rewording: I have changed the wording of Problem 4 as someone gave me another answer to this question which was not entirely wrong. Hopefully this will clear it up for anyone else.
