Our plan had to been to do all of this series but we keep forgetting how short the days are now and we ran out of time to get them all. I had to make do with 3/5.Quick find and sign here looks like some kids have made this spot into a den. TFTC
The final cache for this trip to to Carlton was a quick find hit indeed a funny one. With a quick swap of tradable and a nice picture we were out with a grin on our faces:)) TFTC
Found with Sillybugger and grandson Benny.Container really out in open but as described.A kids hideout is being used under the hint!TFTC
Yet another good find with Mobi702 and gson. Terence TB is really enjoying himself. TFTC
We found a cute little mini base. Lovely spot to hear the ocean waves under the pine tree.
Convenient spot for signing the log. Logbook replaced in plastic bag. It was out in the open. TFTC
A nice and quick find. It was a busy day on the beach with the unusually warm weather today but this cache was well out of sight from muggles. TFTC!

Found the log sitting on a table soaking wet. Someone has been residing in this sheltered area. Needs some maintenance/rehoming.
We did but didn't find this cache. Someone has obviously been living in this sheltered area for quite some time and the wet log book was lying out in the open on their table.
Out for a glorious afternoon of caching with newbie cacher Tigerheads, to show her the ropes.
A nice selection of caches in this Dunes series.
Thanks Tasilee.

Very close to cubby, the kids cubby club has some suspicious things laying around.
The logbook has been replaced. There is indeed a recent nearby hidyhole so please replace the cache very carefully to avoid muggling.
Interesting little cubby hole. Nice views over the beach. Dropped off TB which had a shell picture on it - thought it belonged near the beach. Nice dry cache.
On a road trip around half of Tassie, starting at Devonport, Liffey, Hamilton and finishing at White beach, we collected many a cache in some fantastic locations. Some driven past and never stopping to locate, others just because. Still thanks for each spot you have chosen as it gave us another reason to get out and explore.
So the geowifes took the cars and code1 and myself made a sort of zig-zag trackback to the clubhouse collecting this series.
JABs.

Another wander up into the dunes and a poke around for a fairly quick find another log pic taken, thanks Tasilee for the series enjoyed it immensely
Wow these caches in the dunes were challenging. We thought we were following a track and then all of a sudden it would disappear. A lot of bush bashing involved. Relieved to get to the last one in the series for us. An easy find to finish off and a nice walk along the beach back to the surf club. TFTC and a fav point for the series.

Tassie Trip Day 89 - Today we went for a little drive and a few strolls to grab those smiles and it was just a little on the damp side but did clear up to be dry before we needed to go and see about some Geovehicle repairs, power problems with the alternator it turned out to be so that will be fixed at a later time.
With a little bit of light showers we set off in the Dunes making the trip to what turned out to be a good direction but during our tracking to others in the series we made those terrains a little more difficult but we did manage to make the collection of the 6 caches.
Thanks for this series Tasilee.

Thanks for this series Tasilee.
Both TaurusSix and I circled and saw no cache. Then I saw it not quite as the hint would have us believe it might be.
Thanks for the cache Tasilee. I logged a DNF for this one ages ago, so this and the remaining two of the series I didn't search for last time have been nagging away at me everytime I look at my geocaching map. So, today the GeoGSP and I returned, but this time we brought along a previous finder who really helped with accessing the remaining two in the series. Approached this one from the beach which was full of activity today - absolutely glorious day with heaps of people out enjoying the water. Glad to have an excuse to come back, and glad that today I was able to convert this sad face to a smiley face - Cheers.
A stroll along the beach was in order here
A pretty looking spot,
that neatly hides the local's misuse of this area.
There is rubbish everywhere around here !! [:o]
And the locals don't care about wildlife !!
They were out in force today with their dogs running around madly
Even the banksia trees along the road to get here have been chainsawed for firewood !!
(Banksia is one of the best campfire timbers in OZ !!)
Ignoring all the obvious,
I enjoyed me stroll,
and after a bit of searching,
found me a cache

Not very well hidden. Replaced a little higher than we found it. 3 down, 3 to go!
Staying in the area for six days, part of our 8 mth Tasmania adventure. We love Tasmania and its history . A few caches along the way, what more could you ask for. TFTC, TNLN
