Thank goodness for a quick find. One sentence in a previous log gave me a clue. TFTC
After 2 failed attempts , I'm happy that I managed to find. But only after getting a heads up hint from a previous lovely and helpful finder .So all that time I wasted near the solid structure nearby proved not the area that held the prize. Definitely hidden in plain sight and not what I imagined the cache would be. Very sneaky but clever . Never seen this type of hide before. FP from me. Pity about the rubbish around this park . Hopefully it will be rejuvenated one day as per attached sign. TFTC jayden.streatfield
We are still travelling after the Mega in Canberra at Easter. After a great family stay at the Big 4 in Narooma , we overnighted in Casula so we could get our tyres replaced at Costco before heading home. We replaced the wet log.TFTC

The third of 4 corrections of previous DNFs. I swear I searched the GZ thoroughly last time for no result. This time an easy find.

Didn’t take long to find this one. Was planning on getting one down the road for this LGA but muggles were nearby. This was the backup and no muggles here.
Over from New Zealand to attend the Rutherglen Mega. Now heading back to Sydney getting many caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache, jayden.streatfeild

I had a good look around the obvious and perhaps less obvious areas, but with no luck; there were some bags at GZ looking like there has been a cleanup of the area, so the container may have been council'd?
Yeah your made your point that your tall. Great way to wreak a cacheing experience.
Found it, just 41 mins shy of the lockdown and I guess it might be my last escapade for a little while. This one was a little tricky but laid my hands on it after a little bit of head scratching.
I parked here to go and find the many series and have a good walk around getting my steps up with some incidental exercise. Was a good day and I admired the serenity of the nearby powerlines TFTC

jayden.streatfeild I found your cache Dalmaney reserve on 1/5/21, 1:35 pm. This is my find 3179 and find # 13 today. Not being found for almost a year, I didn’t think I’ll have much hope in finding it. Funny thing is I found it in the first place I searched. Container and log are good. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Another one to DNF in the area here. Coming up with a previous finder, they let me search for the cache but after a few minutes they came over to check what’s happening as I wasn’t having any luck. They could confirm that the cache is missing, possibly muggled because of its location next to a water meter. No sign of a cache or log. CO will need to perform maintence on this one.
Found a clear tube with some logs but from reading previous we believe this may not be the correct log. We did not sign and have contacted owner
Another day another catch...

TFTC,
Counting down to the end of the year and with a bit of extra work, I will reach a massive statistic that I will never get another chance to achieve. Not there yet, after today's 24 I still need another 35 and will try to do that tomorrow. This year has been a massive year with so many achievements and reaching an average 8 caches per day would be a crown on top of everything else.
Looks like a trip to the Southern Highlands early tomorrow. Lets hope the heat doesn't arrive.
Quick find.

I made a quick find, after Wazza9 searched there, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to jayden.streatfeild
Found with SebofSydney. Had GZ right from the start but needed to wait to be able to have a search. It was a bit smelly but we came up with the goods. Tftc!
Being out this way we had a scan of the area to fit in a few caches so skipped the lower D ones in favour of a couple of higher D ones.
We managed to park close and walk on over. A look at one object before spotting another with a tell tale sign and soon the cache was in hand. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

On my way to Camden and came through Preston’s to avenge some DNFs. Thought I would check this one out while in the area. Made a quick find but when I got back to the car notice the high D rating and read through some logs. Looks like someone has come with a throw down which is obviously what I had signed. Went back for a better look and stumbled across the hide at least 2m from the wall. If you do not sign the log inside a black bison then you have not found the cache. Not a big fan of the hide style but my name is now on the proper log as well

With the bike we went this route to search for the caches. Most of the hiding places we found good. But there were some caches that were a bit more difficult and we had to search a bit longer.
(the Box and Log ist okay)
We thank the owner for hiding , **the Moorhelmi's from Germany.**

Not sure if there are two caches in-situ as my find was easy to locate and write on but didn’t contain as many names that are recently logged online. CO may want to check but, even if wrong one, today’s find claimed in good faith as only one located without searching further.
Took me quite a while to find this. If the CO is in the area, he might want to check it out and perform maintenance if necessary as based on previous logs I don't think it is like it is supposed to be as it was quite difficult to get out and the log is impossible to write on. Great hide. TFTC
Found with cullum68 on our way to sydney to see Phil Collins concert thank you for the cache
Found with nissan 65 on a day caching before we head to homebush to see Phil Collins tonight.Thanku for the cache .
Damn! Haven’t seen one like this before.
I didn’t have an appropriate pen to sign log but I tried with the one I had.

TFTC and the cycle ride around Prestons on a glorious afternoon.
A really nice hide!
A really nice hide!
In our final week of school holidays we headed out fora days caching with the Rats.
Dad said we'll take the bikes and do a bit of bike riding... well it turned out to be a great day as we rode around the streets on a beautiful sunny day. The "many" series was alot of fun.
We finished our day with a few finds in the FTF hound series.
Thanks to all the cache owners for the fun day.

With the hidden creatures souvenirs almost wrapped up I was wondering how to get a few more finds to accumilate a few more souvenirs. Realising a few of my caching buddies had done this series I dragged the mini rats along with me as they were still on school holidays. We headed up here with the bikes for a fun riding in the sun.
The hides were alot of fun and challenging at times, the area was excellent for getting around by bikes and being midweek the muggle factor was minimal.
We finished our day coming home via Heathcote Rd where we grabbed the latest few caches in the FTF hound series.
Thanks to all the hiders for a great day out.

Streak Day #1837 - Dave8153 and i found ourselves out this way for our daily find, we had looked and looked and read previous logs until i noticed something that i had spotted before and this time kicked a bit of dirt and just as we were about to retrieve it, muggles had entered the park and even worse one of the muggles decided to take a seat on the brick wall so we had to be stealthy in replacing it back. Not sure how long this one will last as its not within the guidelines of placing a cache. TFTC
We returned here after a DNF three weeks ago after sunset. This time we were determined and, boy, did we need some persistence. We elimated every obvious and seemingly not-so-obvious places - nothing! MRs Gaztek sat on the swings , read past log and pondered while Mr G continued to poke and prod. Mrs Gaztek walked a fairly widened search area, found nothing but had an idea. “What if you found something like this” she posed as she reached that thing, “and attached.. He, wait a minute!” And here it was, just as imagined. Could have bit us a hundred times. Excellent hide. Must have taken some effort to install! A favourite from us! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

We did what everyone else did i think looked at the brick wall, the tap, the sign, the drain. With a hint to look for geokid 11s favorite colour. We widened our search and bingo. #434

Found ‘Dalmaney reserve’ (GC4HEXZ) with EverestHigh, MaxAdventurer & The Bebes.
Today, I teamed up with EverestHigh, MaxAdventurer & The Bebes to hunt for more Hidden Creatures (and caches), as we fast approach the final week of the geocaching June / July 2018 promotion.
We hatched a plan to meet up around lunch time and drive over to Prestons to tackle to ever growing “X of Many” series, plus a number of others along the way. It was a fun afternoon out and about in the beautiful winter sunshine and cached well into darkness to pick up as many as we could.
We were pleased with the result, edging ever closer towards the Dragon and, ultimately, the World Turtle digital souvenirs. With only a few Did Not Finds, and a few we had to skip over, we ended up with more than 40 finds for the afternoon.
A good excuse to venture out in the depths of the inviting urban forest, that is Sydney at this time of year.
Thanks For The Cache jayden.streatfeild.

I got mocked well by crows 154 and bonfire... for like ages ...
This is a very tricky one.
Looked at the bin, the sign, the tap.. where would it be.
Funny thing in my search is that I stared right at it but dismissed it.
Omg. I never would have thought.
Camo brilliant.
I almost swore at this one.
Log half full.
Fave point awarded.

Out today with Brewmaker and The Bebes finding some of the caches along the Many Power Trail at Prestons and others along the way. We parked the car at the nearby designated parking area and then headed off. Most of the caches were easy to find and accessible from or near the path. Some were very creative and most only a few took a little while to uncover. This was my second time here with Brew, and we were eager to complete the series.
No hint, agh, we definitely needed one here. We walked around for 10 minutes with no luck. All that I ended up with was dirty, wet hands! So after receiving a bit of help, we spotted something suspicious a few metres away, and soon had the cache in hand. What the? I never would have looked there or found that - never seen one quite like this before. Clever....but very sneaky. My favourite colour.
Signed the log and replaced it all as found. This was our last cache for the day so headed back off homeTFTC

OCW The Bebes and GeodudeAU to finish off more in "... of many" series and others around here. This was our last one and after trying a few options and getting wet, I tried a PAF. With the extra hint we spotted the sneaky camo in plain sight. Good effort. TFTC
But is it Dalmaney or Dalmeny?

Very very sneaky! Definitely hidden in plain sight. Well done fave point from me. Tftc.
Took a while to find. After reading previous logs we eventually found the cache. TFTC
This was a hard find. Didn't think twice when I originally saw the cache but oldmorty revealed a very sneaky find. TFTC
Out caching with geobrother. This was the first for the day and we ALMOST gave up on it. Very clever indeed. I have seen something like this once before, but didn't even think to look for this type of hide here. It was only after finding it that we picked up on the subtle hint in a previous log. TFTC- fav point from us.
In Prestons to tackle the Of Many series. Parked where recommended and walked to start at the beginning and take them in in numerical order. We gave in after number Thirteen and sunset. Wewalked back to the car by GZ and had a quick look around but decided to save it for another day. Cheers... Gaztek
Had a couple of goes at finding this cache this morning but it beat me both times.
OCW Mrs Aries today to get some numbers for my 3,000th find (nearly there).
A return trip today saw us clear the DNF we posted before. Sneaky hide. TFTC jayden.streatfeild.

We cycled across from the nearby Many series. After scratching around the brick wall and the tap, (Don't waste your time there) we looked around and noticed a type of hide we had seen before. Once we opened it up and poked a finger in, out came the bison tube. It almost took us by surprise. TFTC. We'll give it a favourite point.
OCW with Mrs Aries to grab some of this new series today.
A search of the obvious didn't turn anything up and a further forensic did nothing either. We were undisturbed by muggles today but had no luck.

good hide. cache and log in good condition. took awhile this one. had to come back once. found my GPS to be off by 2 meters. ground level.
Wow, that's sneaky! I looked around all the obvious places without success. Went back to the car and read some logs- not many clues there. Went and searched some more, widening the area a little. What's that over there...surely that can't be it? Bingo (finally)!
