Logs
On a mission to fill all gaps in the calendar. Somehow managed to have a 4 day gap this week. Cutting it close today, with just 20 mins to spare but luckily this one was as easy as the previous logs suggested, tftc!
Out and about today in the Stoke/Nelson area grabbing the odd cache here and there. I managed to find and sign this one before Andy had managed to find a park for the car and get back to me. tftc

Found earlier after a meeting in Nelson and time for some walking. Parked close by and did a shirt bit nice loop walk. Three caches on the way, great.
The park behind this one was full of hazelnut trees.

Popped outside during a lunch break with the grandkids to sign the log of this cache, which they had previously located. TFTC.

The cx seems to have migrated a bit into a chaotic location. Since I found it by chance, I wasn't sure exactly where it should be hidden. I took the liberty of placing it in a more standard and secure location. The CO may want to check to make sure things are right. TFTC.
Chose the short walk over from panarama drive. Had place to myself and a quick find. Great view today. TFTC
I’m not great at geocaching, and didn’t find it, happens to be a lot of bush and leaves around the area so makes it hard
Parked at the playground on Panorama Dr and walked up. After looking around the obvious places for a micro we looked a bit further afield and Master 8 found it quickly. Signed with a stick and mud after realising we’d left the traditional writing utensil at home!
Due to NZ being at Alert level 4 and some people insisting on continuing to geocache and put others at risk I am disabling my caches until such time as it's safe to resume this activity.
Any logs I receive for finds during this time will be deleted. I don't care anymore about YOUR safety than you obviously do but I do care very much about others and want them to be safe so please do NOT look for any of my caches while they are disabled.
In the meantime, there's always plenty of puzzles to be solved or created but above all PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE!

Z came up the steps, admired the outlook and soon found, signed and replaced the cache. A pleasant afternoon to be out and about. TFTC
Good pickings in the Enner Glyn/Marsden Point Rd area for me in this souvenir challenge, so this was on the list.
Rechecked the (to me) obvious spot and got the cache then. TFTC Holymu.
Not much on today, so with my eye on the weather forecast (favourable til nightfall) and a new souvenir challenge released, I decided to front foot it and head over the hill to boost some numbers.
Quite a few solved mysteries in the bank - today I was able to tick off some of those.
But basically the day was dictated by the challenge, and I roamed around with no real plan - just urban park and grabs and short walks, of which I still have a lot to find.
20 for the day, good fun. Left for home when it started to become a chore. A few DNFs as normal, but great to be over the hill again. Thanks all COs.

We went on a drive today and stopped for some geocaches. After sensing a bit of dejavu, we retrieved the geocache and found our name already on it. TFTC
Last cache of the afternoon walk and a nice spot to work out the wander home, A quick find, TFTC
Another warm day in sunny Nelson and out for a Sunday afternoon walk and a few caches with TregearP.
Last one for the day before we headed home. All in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.

Had the opportunity for a visit to Nelson for 2 days with Mrs Yeetrees as she was going to attend a embroidery workshop for 2 days, we decided that we would fly in late Friday night and stay the full weekend. Having booked this trip back in February we werent sure what the weather was going to be like but we decided that we would chance it. Managed to find accommodation at the Monaco Hotel & Resort as it was very central to where we wanted to be. Mrs Yeetrees decided that she would like to come caching in the end with me instead of attending the workshops as there wasnt anything to her liking.
After finding GC6QQ9W - Precious Medals (Nelson), we were heading back to the car and Mrs Yeetrees asked me where was the next cache, I advised her and she said that she wouldn't mind having a look up this road as she wanted to check out the place that she stayed at for 2 years while she was a school in Nelson.
As we entered Arapiki Road, Mrs Yeetrees pointed out the house that she boarded at, and said that it hadn't changed that much. We continued up the road and made it to the end of the road and found a parking spot not too far away from GZ. Mrs Yeetrees made her way to GZ and took the change to take the weight off her feet and then I read the hint and it only took a few seconds to find the cache, signed and replaced back as found.
Thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot, really enjoyed the views from GZ, TFTC TNLNSL (12556)

It took me 45 minutes to walk up to the cache from home, what a view well worth the walk Thanks for the cache holymu
#3437. I had a work trip to Nelson arranged at very short notice so decided I would come half a day early to give myself a chance to pick up a few geocaches around Nelson. The weather today is a very hot summers day so making it fun. Having to open and shut the car window as I stop and start around the city. The urban caches proved rather tricky to find so didn't get as many done as I planned but still got 22 which is OK. Another easy cache. After yet more DNF's (as my patience ran dry), I was now into cherry picking mode. Either they are there or I'm outa there! Signed log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here.
The bag is split, but the log is dry. A beautiful day to be out on my weekly trip to Nelson. Quick park and grab. Off to find another. TFTC.
I did sit down on the seat to admire the views & sign the log of course. Found quite easily. Nice cache. Find #59
Quick find this time, don't know how we missed it the first time. Stayed and chatted with a couple of talkative weka. Thanks for the cache.
We went to the playground in panorama to look for the tricky one there (have tried a few times and failed!) but it's vanished - found this one listed instead, thought we'd walk up the path and see where it led. Nice quick find, lovely view
On a windy day came out here for a multi without success and then tried this one for the grab of the day
Guessed correctly where it might be so was able to go straight to it. A nice little spot to sit and ponder.

#10303. I was biking along Ridgeway to get to my street walking area, and too a short side trip to look for the cache. I was a bit out of breath when I got to GZ (biking up Arapki Street was hard work). It took a little while, but I eventually spotted the cache. TFTC.
Once I got up from the seat after admiring the view a quick find. Nice spot. TFTC
Wow took ages after a long two days of rain set this well hidden! But finally found it and such a triumphant feeling. Took my daughter and it was her first find. Tftc
Day One: On holiday with tmann421 exploring the top of the South Island. Lots of geocaches found and adventures had in the collection of many a cache. Thanks to all the CO's for making this a thoroughly enjoyable trip.
Quick find.

Another weekend day, another mission, and another time with the Seagnoid in the co-pilots seat. Todays target was types in a day; I was targetting an improvement on my previous (puny) five and seven were up for grabs (wish I'd 'saved' the Brightwater virtual a couple of weeks ago but ho hum)
A not so early start time had us on the road just after seven and getting back oround 9 in the evening made another long, but satisfying, caching day and experience. we were targetting traditional, multi, mystery/puzzle, earth, letterbox, wherigo and event in Stoke to be the cherry on the cake. In the end I managed a satisfying six types, gave up on the earth ccahe at Kina Sea cliffs as too far to walk with the start time for the event looming. Still managed over 50 in a day which was very satisfying, including a bonus F T F to finish the day off, thanks gahaylock.
Post event and a few park and grab caches were what was wanted to finish off the day
No problems here, replaced as found

[green] Out again with Capperz. This time with a more relaxed 7am start. Mainly to go to an event in Nelson, but let's face it - its just to go geocaching again. A number of aims, the main one being to get Capperz seven cache types in one day (I already have eight), but alas we could not squeeze the earth cache in. Still, we managed to upgrade his bronze badge to gold. On the way we found too many nanos and bisons, too many DNFs (mostly in Stoke - Is there something about that place I should know?) and even a brand new empty logbook!
took a bit of hunting, but we got there. Great views from here!
