Not sure if this one still exists? Gps pointing to a post and box area...no luck
Searched here for quite a while and was only coming up with cobwebs. Perhaps another time
Will need to come back when there are not a heap of people watching the cricket right at ground zero.
**Found whilst visiting friends in Creswick today**.

Cache-On!
On the coldest day for ages in Ballarat with light rain and the temperature hovering around four degrees only crazy geocachers and ducks would venture out into the bush.
After attending the Hidden Creatures Event in Ballarat we are back out in the Creswich area getting some more smiley faces with au.fait and Mogni from SA. This guy turned out to be a a harder find but in the end it could not escape 7000 lumins, signed and we were on our way to the next on our list.
Thanks Wakkatoo for placing this cache.

Today I got the opportunity to catch up with a good friend Bushfire and help him find some hidden creatures.... What a fantastic day
Thanks to Wakkatoo from mogni

Joined up with 2 legendary cachers at the lunchtime event in the form of Bushfire and Mogni for an afternoon of caching that extended well into the night. What a freezing cold afternoon it was but the company was great as was the caching. This sneaky hide was finally discovered after a very thorough search TFTC wakkatoo
A Muggle Grandfather and his 2 grandsons were playing football not that far away but we gave it our best shot under the circumstances but had no luck finding this well hidden cache.
TFTC Wakkatoo that we may find another day?

Didn't take us too long to find this nano on a muggle free day.

There were a few muggles around, but not the sporting type. Out and about with Markndee whilst spending the weekend in Ballarat. Lots of searching before the sneaky nano was discovered. Nice work! SL at 3.33pm #4807 TFTC Wakkatoo
Found at 3:33pm with Harrowang. Had us looking for quite a while before we encountered the tricky little blighter! SL TFTC
Walked the nice lil path with smeliali and found it first look! Unfortunately forgot the pen in the car great spot though!
Couldn't find this one today, we will have to come back and try again another time!
Team Autumn out today for some Mothers day fun. Having run into MaggieDot and her family (and being nagged to let them all continue playing) we came over together to find this cache. We searched high and low and eventually MaggieDot said the words "found it". Now to walk over the oval for the next cache. TFTC.
In Ballarat for the weekend (Geokids have Monday off as well). came to the surrounds then in town of Creswick. We have had a great day out with Autumntree getting her 1000 th cache along the way.
As mentioned in the other posts, we bumped in to Maggiedot and family at the station and continued together to find these ones around the oval. And the Geokids all went and played so lest nagging. lol

After running into AutumnTree and AutumnCS at the railway station, we decided to join forces for another couple of caches. There was a bit of activity nearby, but none on the oval adjacent to the GZ, so the search was conducted. We tried low, we tried high... Once the sneakily hidden cache was located, leverage was needed to release it from its hiding place.

Found as Nicnax with MazzyMay. Another one that she had tried for unsuccessfully before, but seeing it had been replaced we went to look for it. Took a while but she finally spotted it and was very happy. TFTC
Found as NicNax with SciFiRulz. Another cache that I have tried to find several times. Noticed that maintenance had been done so had another go. Still took quite a bit of looking, feeling and disturbing the resident spiders. Love a good challenge. All in a good cause. Big smile. TFTC
Out on Cache day with Snap Happy, The Empire and Sully1
We had a lot of laughs as we always do and a good time was had by all.
but were unable to find this one today.

I met up with 4 other geocaching teams this afternoon at another nearby cache and they told me they couldn't find this one, so we all dropped by here afterwards. I'd found this cache in March last year but the cache is definitely no longer where I found it previously. When I returned home this evening, I confirmed that my memory of the hide location was accurate by viewing a photo I'd taken when I found it. The cache may have crept (from when I found it) or it may be missing.
Travelling to Maryborough for work early this morning and an earlier start to the drive gave me some caching time.
Too good for me this morning.

Yes! After many an attempt today was the day for a smilie here! Gosh so tricky and I looked right at it on my previous attempt!! Great hide TFTC!
I finally found this tricky little hide after several attempts. It certainly kept me occupied for a while. Thank you for the geocache.
With children at School and Kinder and a few free hours to explore, becca85 and I headed to Creswick to grab some more smileys. Good start to Summer and the last month of the year.
Trying to a bit inconspicuous as there were people here today. Looked high and low. This was a sneaky little hide but finally got our hands on it. 300th find for me too. Yay. TFTC.

With children at School and Kinder and a day off work for us both, Wonder Woman W.W and I headed to Creswick for the day.
Not bad weather for the first day of Summer (I even got sunburnt!) & a successful day exploring more of this great little area.
This was a tough one and we were glad to finally get our hands on it. TFTC

Very small. We spent about 20mins but did find it. It is in an obvious place but still extremely hard to find
Sneaky little thing. Thanks Yogster for finding this I had overlooked it already. TFTC
TFTC. Out to nab a few more smilies in Creswick today with Jaggedwings and the GeoMutt. The GZ had us going around, up, down and almost in to try to located this one until we swapped sides and I found the sneaky little fella.
Found by one of 3 geokids after about 15min and multiple checks in the same places. Very crafty hide. Awesome and thx
Find #846 for me. Finally found it on my 3rd visit on my way back to Bendigo from Ballarat with my 2 children. Not sure how I missed it before, actually. I thought I'd gone over every nook and cranny of this area, but obviously not carefully enough! This evening it only took about 5 minutes to find it. This was good since my 8yo son didn't want to stop at all so I left him in the car saying I wouldn't be any longer than 10 minutes. Thanks for the hunt and the cache Wakkatoo!
tftc, found on my second attempt.
Out caching with Gograndys for the day.

This was a lot harder to spot than the D rating suggested in my opinion. I was sure it wasn't there until the very last moment when I suspected something that caught my eye.
Thank goodness it was what I wanted to find and nothing else. No muggles did help with the search. Sure would have been harder with a game in progress.

You know I reckon that someone could do it on game day. However it would need to be a player or coach or the like. The trick would be not letting anyone else see you! Something for anyone to consider doing if they have the ability!
Found with highrod. Took some time to locate this one. I can see why you would not going looking for it when a game was on. Great to see this reserve in the town. TFTC
We found your cache DLR
Found with misscheif18 on a cleanup around Creswick. Took a while to locate.
The cache is in good shape.

After staying in town for a few days I was up early with my youngest son in tow grabbing a few caches this morning. This one proved a little elusive but there can only be so many spots to hide on a structure like this so it was a case of checking all the areas thoroughly and I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks Wakkatoo for the cache.
Found by Team Ladava during a visit to the delightful town of Creswick today with the showers of rain somehow adding to the enjoyment of a rare day out caching after the recent heat.
The most difficult find for the day which took quite a few minutes including retrieving our dog which had raced across the playing field to meet another dog.
I think the spiders had added a bit more cover to this one since the last find and the better half of Team Ladava who suffers from arachnophobia was not keen on me brushing them away in my search but we have an extra smiley and a degree of satisfaction to enjoy.
Locations like this are 'the icing on the cake' of Geocaching with the locals hosting us anonymously to their favourite spots.

Our thanks to Wakkatoo for the cache and bringing us to this location.

We caught up with Alansee and The Drovers for a few days caching around the Creswick and Ballarat area.
We were quite happy that there were no sporting activities happening today as this one took quite awhile to locate. After quite a few minutes and with this many eyes we were about to call it a DNF when Mrs Drover spotted it in a place that we thought that we had already checked and our names have been added to the log.
Thanks Wakkattoo for showing us this location and the cache.

Found with The Drovers and Team Crackers while visiting the area. I think that I had looked unsuccessfully for this one before, but happily Mrs Drover made the find after we instituted a full-on search.
Day 2 camped at Creswick with Alansee and Team Crackers, we headed out to grab some caches.
We found a mixture of bike trails, walks and drive by's, which made a fun day.
Most caches were found after a short search, some a little trickier.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Wakkatoo, for us and others to find.

Searched for 20 minutes without success. It's clearly there somewhere but too good for me today! Another cache for another day, but thanks for the hunt!
Oh this is a sneaky one its taken me three visits to finally be able to mark this off my list
Four experienced searchers gave up after ten minutes.
Three DNFs suggest it has gone.

3 dnf's meant a quick check on this one. Was pretty confident it would be there and was proved correct. Dehands must have been following me, as they soon found it after I checked.
Cache all good, just waiting to be found.
