Logs
Almost gave up until a local cacher drove past and told us we were close! Found it in the end.
Nice day for a geocaching expedition before lockdown, can confirm this one is still here and in good condition TFTC
Might be buried under ground cover from recent storms or in the million black berries.
I read a few previous logs and imagined lashings of prickles. I chose a bit of a long winded path to this cache and had no problems.
Heading pass today and I thought yep just enough time to make a detour and find this cache.
Pulled over and parked very close to cache. Got out and looked around briefly then saw a likely spot, took a bit to spot as it was well covered.
Nice views here

The GPS Put me across the road yet this didn't seem to be logical given the name and others logs. I didn't find anything on the shelter and wasn't about to pick up wood or go through high grass with snakes about. A cow ran up looking for a feed while I was there. I abandoned the search as the darkness fell. Tftc
After going to the Loy Yang power station and mine lookouts we worked our way towards Yarram. A quick park and grab here. TFTC
Sun was shining and a day off meant a caching trip with Ski Pair, a plan was hatched with a list of around 70 caches on it as we headed out to tackle the Giffard Road Series and a few other caches we passed along the way. We managed 2 FTF's and I found My 17,000 cache. bit of a scramble up the bank and the cache was soon found.
Thanks ornursie72 for the cache.
Thanks ornursie72 for the cache.
Well, thanks for another cache placement ornursie72. The gps gods were a little jumpy today, so it took longer to find that it should have. Thanks for your contribution to this game.
Camped at Gormandale after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. Third for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, GPS showed 8 meters from GZ, but in an obvious spot. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
Hubby looked for this one among the spiky plants while I made our lunch, after the find we took the time to enjoy the views while eating our meal. SL TFTC
On the way to a spring day BBQ we were able to make a small detour to check out the bus stop views and the muggles watching, they stopped paying attention and we were able to make a quick find.

What a "prickly" little cache this one has proven to be for us.
On the way home from a fish & chip drive to the coast, we decided to grab a cache or two. This one proved difficult for us and the GPS on our previous visit. The same occured today and I returned to the car for the "smart" phone to finally achieve success.
Thanks ornursie72 for your challenge.

**# 20416** Found on a drive to Yarram while staying nearby.
Not many muggles around today and a few quick finds for a change.
A short walk and quick find.
Thanks for the cache ornursie72,

SamJell, the GeoPuppies and myself found this one on our little adventure to the beach. (We didn't make it there), but got plenty of caches instead hahaha. What a bizarre thing that happened. As a was looking for the cache I heard this *thump *thump. I turned around to SamJell who was waiting back at the road. "What the hell was that?" she said. And buggered if I know what it was.???? But it was weird. No sound that wildlife or anything would make.. Beautiful little spot anyway. lol TFTC
So much mist, no views to be had, but a cache was located and happily signed. TFTC ornursie72, we enjoyed our drive out here on another KAKAGA adventure!
Out on a road trip with Mummy Short Legs with the aim of finding a few unloved caches (and any other ones we happened across). Pulled up as if to catch the bus and then realised our error. A hop, step and jump across the way to the obvious spot, with me accidentally swatting Mummy Short Legs in the face with some lovely whippy branches on the way (whoops!). A nice quick find, thanks ornursie72
I turned up here in typical Autumn drizzle and mist
And hopped out of the geomobile to seek shelter
Which after reading the previous logs,
and looking at the GPS seemed to be a spot that would not provide a smilie
So I headed back across the road,
and wandered around behind where I'd parked.
And somewhere up there in the drizzle and gloom,
I found a cache
On return to the geomobile,
I saw through a break in the clouds,
a misty view of ...
... a power station
Which seemed to be creating most of the mist that was blocking me views

Thought I'd try this one again today and what do you know, there it was!! I was looking on the wrong side of the road last time, the GPS was being a bit more helpful today. The view down to Loy Yang is beautiful. Thanks for a nice find
Got this cache on our tour of Willung South. After reading the previous logs we thought we were going to be in for a bit of search. But we trusted the mobile GPS the cache was quickly found. Thanks. Silkyie
Couldn't find this one today, used the hint but the bus shelter was really the only obvious place a cache would be. Had a stomp around in the grass looking for a container but no luck. Didn't see anything of interest in the remnants of the old bus shelter. There a fantastic letter box but although we had a quick look, felt odd looking in someone letter box and the GPS was indicating closest to that. Not 100% sure what we were looking for sadly.
After doing the fireworks for the Traralgon show last night we decided to spend the night and clean up a few of the local caches and then head home via a road that we don't travel to often.
It's quite interesting how a humble bus stop can be remembered in such a way. Fortunately there was no one waiting in the stop as it was a Saturday and we had no school kids to worry about. The cache itself was a nice easy find right where the GPSr said that it should be and we are happy that are name is now in the log.
Thanks for the cache.

Found while out on a caching road trip with gwd.aussie. After a time of searching finally found cache after revisiting a location we had already searched. Thanks ornursie72 a tricky hide.
Mopping up some caches between Rosedale and Yarram.
Found the cache after a fair bit of searching.
About to give up and move on to happy caching ground.
Found at 12.36
Out caching with D@geo
Thank you for the hide ornursie72

No amount of blackberry stomping could help with this cache. The two GPS units and phone had us parked almost on GZ!! We remember spending a very long and cold day in the school many years ago - we were officials on polling day. Also remember about 60 centimetres of snow up here - in 1975 (I think) and cars were only recognisable by the approximate shape. Will have to return another time to find this one. Thanks ornursie72
Looked for quite a while where we thought the cache would be but couldn't find it, so we expanded our search area but still no luck. Finally decided to come back to the first place we looked and I found it straight away. Mr 2max was like "but I looked there!!!"... sure ya did SL Thanks for another sneaky cache ornursie
The muggle across the road had a nice fire burning with plenty of smoke and ash covering the gz. Thanks ornursie72 FTC.
Found on a very muggy day in the hills. This could have been a nasty one the way it was hidden but got lucky. It must have been horrible waiting for the bus on a cold winters morning before the shelter Brrrr. Thanks for the cache ornursie72
Yay - found it today . Great views from the new shelter. Would have been very cold catching the bus from here during Winter before it was built - bbbrrrrr. Thanks ornursie72 - great place to hide a cache.
A phone call from Slink1 asking ‘what’s on for the weekend?’ found us down in Morwell for other reasons and it was a case of well we’re here now and so the hunt began Many thanks to ornursie72 for the time and effort of looking after this cache. TNLN SL
Off on a weekend sweep in the Morwell area with many good caches found many thanks to ornursie72 for the effort and placement of this cache TNLN SL
Nice simple find. And the views are terrific. Probably wasted on the kids!

Doing a few caches today, checking out some of our old stamping ground in and around South Gippsland. Was lovely to find a cache here. We over thought this one and made it much harder that it might have been. Did not see the possum

Another cache we missed on Friday due to a muggle waiting for the school bus. All clear today and we had a short search despite the GPSrs pushing us around, which ended in an easy find at 2:20.
We found this one without too much trouble. There are some very pretty views around this area and quite a few thorns too! Nice to see a cacher putting lots of effort into camouflaging their containers TFTC
1202 05102013 took a little while to locate the well hidden cache.

GPS bouncing round a bit which was good as we may not have spotted a resting echidna. Nice little hide. Tftc
I was in the area doing another cache and decided to find this one as well.
Certainly great views from here.
No possum here today.
TB "Scrat" visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

Found interesting hide leads you in the wrong direction from where you think left some fish
A nice easy First to Find especially as this is the location our kids now catch the bus from. The possum was a little nervous as I searched for the cache- look before reaching your hand in anywhere! TFTC
