Log slots full, so I signed right right down the middle. Thanks for the cairns cache, Love the camo.
Laura from Team mac Hernst found this can on her trip to Australia today. Thanks !!!
This is a day off between bus tours and snorkeling, so we are walking around Cairns and doing some caching. We weren't sure what we would find at this spot, but luckily we had seen similar caches and spotted it and signed the log. Thanks for the hide!
U nearly had us. Was with R.D today and we spent probably little to long at this one Bravo, i can see why its got fav pointsTFTF
Thanks for placing and maintaining Wazza&Kara. Night caching in the city, good for the sole..
I arrived for the day aboard the Carnival Splendor. This was my first find today. I didn't spot the cache immediately, as there was something in front of it. However, as soon as I did spot it, I knew it was the cache. Cache and log are good. TFTC Wazza&Kara.

7 July 2024 10:37amWondering around today as my colleague had the car and the sun was mostly poking out its head and keeping most of the rain away.I wonder what people thought as I walked into the empty carpark. When I arrived at GZ I quickly looked around and found the cache. Nice little hide TFTC
Very clever- you almost had us fooled. We are out scooting around Cairns before we start heading south again. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
A clever hides I've only seen once before. Thanks for your continued support of this cache! A fav from me!
Checked on this cache and found that it was missing. Council have done some 'upgrades' and have remove the cache hiding spot which must have been a component for the wind turbine which use to be mounted on top of the pole. Wind turbine has now been removed and it is all solar.Cache was replaced and now has a fresh new logsheet.
Didn't find it. Looks like there has recently been a structure removed from this spot ( or we are just really bad at this ). Photo attached of recently removed structure.
As I approached, I had an idea of what I was looking for, found it quickly then got distracted by the heritage train and almost walked off without replacing the hide. All fixed, tftc
I was the first to sign the new log but probably smeared my signature due to the rain. Silly weather! Thank you for the smiley and the fun!The day:I was visiting from the U.S. and had a goal of driving all the way up the east coast starting in Melbourne and ending in Port Douglas over a few weeks. I left Port Douglas and spent the night in Cairns to complete my time in the north. It had been an incredible journey that I will never forget. I had 5 nights left in Sydney before returning home and I was looking forward to my last day in the area. Sadly, the weather did NOT cooperate, but I made the best of it by arriving early and completing as many caches as possible in the drizzle and then some in the downpour. Many thanks to all the geocachers who placed and continue to maintain their geocaches for folks like me to find. I know it's not always easy, but I do appreciate you.
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.Our last day in Cairns, time to visit this cool cache.... We were quickly able to sign up on the new guest list.... Well done..., we're happy to add another "blue ribbon..." for this....Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app

Tftc. Hopped off the cruise ship and wandered over for a quick find. Log hard to sign due to wetness.
Nice quick find in plain site. Some of the older names have disappeared, leaving room for new signatures. Tyftc
I revisited this cool cache today. I found it many years ago, when I was motor-homing my away around Aus. Now, Im cruise-liner-navigating my way around the world, and since my muggle-buddy, Renate, had been asking whether she might accompany me on a geocaching adventure I thought it the perfect opportunity to introduce her to the game especially since our ship, MV Silver Shadow, is docked just a few hundred metres away.Nice cache. Thanks from Renate and me.
On my journey through Australia I passed many beautiful places. It is very impressive. Thank you very much. Greetings from Germany, muschel3
Greetings from Germany/Luxembourg
Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we went around Cairns with very interesting excursions.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.
We have traveled with 36 likeminded geocachers to Australia and New Zealand resulting in lots of opportunities for sightseeing and geocaching. This has been a great trip with a multifold of new impressions and experiences.During our stay in Cairns we had also the opportunity to visit some caches. This cache was today among our finds. Thanks for leading us here and showing and thanks for the cache.

Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

New Zealand ????, two goals for me so far unattainable that I can now remove from my spoon list thanks to the best hobby in the world.Where can you find 37 enthusiastic travel participants with the same interest?Exactly, at Cacher-Reisen??.And so we are here and explore the cities, landscapes and beautiful nature. As a group, we register in the logbooks with Downunder2024 to save space or not to blow up the email account. Many different cache types are on our list, the old cans from 2000/2001 to fill the Jasmer or even to close the last gaps. Here, a great variety is offered in both.T4t$ says viko76 from Berlin/ Germany
