Logs
As it gets closer to the warm months, the mornings are getting "slightly" lighter meaning an opportunity to grab the odd cache before work.
In the area with some time to kill before a meeting. A wander to GZ. Lots of noises in the bushes (if I don't see them, that can't see me
A quick find here.
[red]
Have you logged your WILL ATTEND for WA GOES BIG in 2016 ?
I have and am looking forward to seeing as many of you in Pinjarra on the WA Day long weekend.
Log you will attend at GC5YAGP

Megzi_Matty I found your cache M&M's No.3 on 9/11/2015. This is my find #4383. TFTC.
Nice hiding! Found this cache between waves of showers this morning. Very quiet around GZ in this sort of weather. This is a beautiful piece of bushland, I had never been that way before. Thank you for the cache Megzi Matty.
A lovely path to walk not what we expected , a bit of bush tracking , watching out for spider webs , tftc the kids enjoyed leaving you a drawing
After walking through the bush at night and only at the last minute seeing all the spiders that were spinning their web's across my path, I was very happy to see a cache at the end of my journey, albeit a very brittle and holey one. I quickly signed the log and continued my walk back to the car with my torch at head height, desperately trying to spot all the webs before I walked into them. Probably a better cache for the day time, but fun all the same. Tftc.
Nice quick find
Log is a little wet though
Drained the water out
Placed the container back with the lid facing down to allow the water to drain out

Out with The Drovers on another big caching run in the Northern suburbs, plenty of great hides and some very good camos too, TFTC
Picked up JacobsCrew and headed to the north of Perth, to take advantage of yet another
beautiful sunny day. Visited some lovely suburban parks and bush land area's, with a good
variety of cache hides. A most enjoyable day was had by all.
Many thanks for the cache, Megzi_Matty.

Made a relatively early start this morning, heading up to the northern suburbs for a caching foray. Lots of finds throughout the day, so lots of smileys too. Found this one laying out in the open. Put it back where we thought it should be. Thanks Megzi Matty
Out for a day of caching north of the river again.
Found without problems as it was out in the open so put it back where we thought it had come from.
Thanks Megzi_Matty for the cache.

Just about ti give up when we found this one we had already searched the obvious spots
Like others this one took us a while and we were about to quit. Not really very hard once we found it! Beautiful smell from the wildflowers today. Really feels like spring at last. TFTC
Failed to find cache, but plenty of ticks found me!! I am not fazed by them, but my wife is!! I'm not allowed to return!!
I'd spoken to Ammo45 earlier in the day and he hadn't been able to locate this hide. I thought I was doomed too; completely freaked out by the hundreds of spider's webs I had walked through to get to GZ. I read the immediate prior log and looked down and there was the cache! Perfect! Thanks for the cache....now off to the final.
Searched for ages almost give up - one more chance and kick it... wow cache was there under my nose!!!!... so pleased to signed the log and return back to the track sudden kangaroos jumped - one kangaroo stand and stared at me so took some photo... see pic... Thanks Megzi Matty.
Searched at Gz for 10 minutes, then read the previous logs, searched for another 20 minutes but could not find it. It would be nice if the C.O, would update the co-ords or add a hint or three as not all of us have a yuppie-yapper to ring a friend
Well this one was a little bit harder to find. Searched and searched eventually had to use the phone a friend part of the app. Signed and replaced. TFTC.
Joint FTF@09:30. Parked up behind Spatialriq's geocar...(dammit, he didn't get lost on the way here then)...two caches in close proximity, I wonder which he will go for first? I'll gamble and go to the furthest one. Crash through the bush, get to GZ and see a shadowy figure...oh well, he came here first as well. No! It's The Machman! And soon we were joined by the aforementioned Spatialriq and all three of us clambered over and around the GZ for a while till I came up with the cache. This was the hardest of the four to find, with plenty of options. TFTC!
Headed back out to the road then up the nearby track to get to this one. Noticed the machmans vehicle at the trailhead. Found him and Olthomas had just arrived seconds before I did. We all set to work searching the most obvious large thing. After a couple of minutes Olthomas came up with the goods only about a metre from my GZ. Nice series, would have done the last one but I was now a tad late for work. Thanks for a fun series. Looking forward to the final. TFTC.
Just dropped Geokids off at school when this series popped up. Driving past, quick turn around only to find was just pipped by "Olthomas" (They actually introduced Geocaching to us on top of Mt Cooke (WA) and The MachMan.
Whilst not FTF, we think it is fair to say FTF in order of cache numbers or M & M colours.

I saw these new Caches published, but initially decided not to head out to search for them
as I was heading South on CLAN WA business.
However as I left home I had a change of heart (and direction) and headed North, to #4 to grab my daily cache.
After finding that one, I realised #3 was only 220 meters through the bush, so thought I may as well
hunt for this this one as well.
Just arrived at GZ and was standing was waiting for the GPSr to settle when Olthomas arrived, and then Spatial Riq a few seconds later.
Together we set about a search, lots of possibilities, even for a larger container. Olthomas chose the right
search spot and soon came up with the Cache.
Decided to leave the other two of the series for another day.
Many thanks.

Saw these caches published this morning but wasn't in a position to head out to join the masses on the FTF hunt. Shame as we are probably the closest to these than any of the FTF hunters today
A caching run was planned for today with Geology Boy so these were added to the list. Grrr after such a quick find at the last one we were both lulled into a false sense of security. We bush bashed the 200mts to this one from the last, but that's where the fun ended. [B)]
We hunted high and low discovered plenty of ticks crawling over us and then we were both more anxious about what was itching and why? than looking for the cache. In desperation it was out with the phone to use a lifeline.
Further info gleaned and the cache was in hand (fully exposed might I add) obviously one of us disturbed the camo during the hunt and not realised [B)] Duh!
Signed the log, grabbed the info. Then got bitten by a killer bull ant before heading back to the car. Can someone call the Nature police. No ticks or biting ants to be within 100mts of Geocaches please!

Found @ 11:56!
Find #04 on a day of geocaching with one half of 'FelixII' who had kindly offered to drive me to some caches outside of my usual walking range!
We took the fairly short walk from the nearby cache of the same series to this one, where I soon lost count of the number of cobwebs that I broke with my face!
Arrived at a likely GZ and both our GPSrs agreed where we should focus our search...
Finding nothing, we continued to seek alternative hides further afield, of which there were many. I did enjoy climbing the log in the process, but soon discovered there were ticks about, so 'FelixII' sought a clue...
Once we heard that the cache was located a little further East, I made an instant find as it was partially exposed - amazing that none of us spotted it earlier!
Gathered the required info for the yet-to-be-published Final before continuing to 'Flamin' Nuisance' while 'FelixII' returned to get the car after being bitten by an ant!
So, this cache involved close encounters with spiders, ticks and biting ants! Future cachers be prepared!
