### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there JedWilko,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Day 2 of the Bring In The New Year (BITNY) road-trip. After camping in at woods point for the evening it’s a day of UBD and LGA smashing. Finally time to tick off the south east of Victoria with a journey out to Mallacoota and surrounds.
A stop on our way out of the campsite. The cache is in very poor condition (in fact just pieces)! The old wooden sign is long gone that the cache was near and is now out in the open and needs replacing.
Thanks JedWilko for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

The work year has finished, so it’s time to head off on another road trip - to explore ‘The Pointy End’.
DAY TWO: Jarrahmond to Mallacoota.
After camping at Woods Point for the night, we stopped to look for this one on the way. Looks like the old sign has gone, a new one a bit further from the intersection. We spotted the remains of the cache, and took photos, as there’s no logbook. Unfortunately this will need to be replaced.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, JedWilko

Couldn't find this at all - GZ spot has been bulldozed so don't know whether it's been moved?
Found with mezza74 while on a day trip up to Raymond Creek Falls. Cache is in bad shape and even though the log was in a bag it was wet. Signed piece of paper we had in the car and placed in an additional zip lock bag. Continued our journey to the falls we arrived at our destination we took the walk the falls which was well worth it with a good flow of water coming over - the last time I had been here the area had been decimated by fire. We made our way back to the carpark that was empty when we started our walk but was now busy with an additional half a dozen cars and even someone setting a a camper.
Thanks Jeddawilko
Thanks Jeddawilko
Found while on a day trip to Raymond Creek Falls. It was d@geo who noted that there was a cache on-route. Cache found quickly but sadly in poor condition we signed a separate sheet of paper as the log was wet before continuing on. I have been talking about a trip to Raymond Creek Falls for a while and it was certainly worthwhile even without the additional bonus of a smiley.

This cache need a new container. Found after 2 years. under stone. Thanks jeddawilko
A pleasant drive up to here from Orbost, the road wasn't too bad and we were soon at GZ to sign the log. All good here, cache dry and in good condition. Log signed and heading north west now for another cache.
Thanks jeddawilko for this placement.
Thanks jeddawilko for this placement.
The hint is no longer relevant. If you need some help refer to Poiter.h log from 05/08/2018.
I am very fortunate to be staying in this gorgeous part of the universe less than five kilometres from this cache.
While visiting with my Uncle I have seen wombats, platypus, Snowy River Crocodiles, swamp wallabies and more different species of bird than I can count. There is something magical about this area!
Being the chauffeur today Uncle Vik entertained us with his story of how he rode his bike to Woods Point from home just the other week That's some serious riding..... I wouldn't have made it up the first hill.
On the way home we made sure to stop so I could leave my signature on the logbook.
Thanks for the cache jeddawilko
And thanks to Poiter.h for replacing the container

I was in the area for a couple of days and had the read the previous DNF log.
So armed with replacement cache, I had the chance today to go have a look for it,
as the previous cacher had said they have done road works in the area.
So I signed the log of the replacement cache and have placed it at the foot of the sign under a rock. See spoiler photo.

A great bit of engenuity in use here, soon had cache in hand, stamped the log and replaced as found, Thanks JedWilko, A Favourite point for use of local materials
Today we explored Orbost and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find while doing some 4x4ing in the area.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found 22/4/16 @ 2:38 pm.
Having just found the nearby cache at Woods Point camping area, we stopped here on the way out. Leaving the GPS on my phone (reading 20m in who knows what direction) in the car, I figured I'd just use my 'geo-sense' to find the cache.
'Geo-sense'? What is that anyway, I suspect I just made it up. Well, whatever it is, I certainly didn't have any. Around and around I went, checked here, checked there. Nope, still no cache. Just as I was about to admit to looking like a fool, Mr. Kalianda (Rob) points out a location I swear I'd checked at least twice. Bingo - there it is!
Thanks jeddawilko for bringing is here a favourite for us

What a great little hide. Unique cache especially for such an area. A favourite for sure. Loved the drive up here except for the signs of wood chipping. Tftc tnln
Trying out our new camper traiLer, nice to grab a cache on the way. Thanks for putting a cache to guide us on our way to a magical camping spot. Tftc
Excellent hide, brilliant idea, amazing spot. After much discussion we decided that the difficulty rating and terrain rating is a little high, perhaps two stars for each instead. TFTC.

A lovely day for caching. Set off to get this one, and found ourselves in an area we'd never seen before. Caching takes you to some really interesting places. We found the well hidden cache and duly signed the log, then drove along that rough track to the picnic area. What a magnificent spot. Do hope you'll place a cache here too. Once again JedWilko we thank you for the challenge.
cheers
