Thanks for this one! It was a bit scary to walk down to it during dawn, but I managed. It was the cap that gave it's place away...

Decided to make the most of the nice weather today and head up north for a caching run.
Third attempt at this cache, the first time we dnf'd and on the second time, the trail was completely flooded over. Thankfully third time was a charm today and cache was soon in hand after a nice walk.
Thanks for the cache

South West Rocks long weekend day 3 with Team Canary, and Everest High.

A few of us had lugged our yaks 500km north with this stretch of water as our target. Drove up from SWR on a crisp and breezy morning and put into the water at around 8:30am. Grabbed a few of the caches on the west side before starting Mangrove Madness in reverse order.

Of course we had to get our feet wet to get to this one from the yaks.

I took the bush track to this one as I didn't see the riverside trail as I walked off from riverside trail cache. I still got there in the end, walked around to the trail from the boat ramp. A quick find when I decided to look in the right direction. TFTC

25-May-20
Found with the fam

23-May-20
Found the cache laying on the ground in front of the tree, the log was too wet to write on and I unfortunately didn’t have any new paper with me to replace it. I put it back in the tree where I think it may have been first. It may need to be double checked by the owner

14-Feb-20
Great little walk along this track even though it is a bit over grown. Found easily. Tftc.

19-Dec-19
What a lovely summer’s day to be out for a few geocaches while on holiday with family, Geelong Cats! We took the bush road at first but when we got to the 40 m mark to GZ and the arrow turned towards dense, impenetrable bush and vines we retreated and sought the bush trail along the waterway! Much better...SL TFTC

We walked up the riverside trail to this cache and found it well hidden where walkers are unlikely to see it. The vegetation was quite different, I have not seen this type of growth before. We were tempted to walk further along the trail but it was getting late so the next 2 caches will have to wait. Thanks coongoola for the cache and bringing us to this excellent bush trail.

26-Jul-19
Once we found the right tree , we found it easy.. a nice spot. TfTC

Another perfect Autumn day for a trek around the Point with Ski Pair. Wink
Not many muggles around here today and a lot of good safe hides. Wink
A nice trek here even though the grass is starting to overgrow the track in parts.
Thanks for the cache, coongoola,

Only had time to do one cache this morning on my early morning dash. Will be back for the rest next time. Beautiful by the river this morning. TFTC

11-Apr-18
Wonderful to get us out and walking along the river and in the bush.. Thanks for the cache

18-Feb-18
The last in the series as we kayaked back to the boat ramp. Again we found a super little landing cove to pull in to to walk to the cache. Would have taken a lot longer without the hint but with it the cache was found quickly.

We had a fantastic morning on the water, especially the bonus of finding The Riverside Trail caches on the way back from Mangrove Madness. The first series we've purposely done at a higher terrain than necessary. [^] TFTC and the series coongoola.

03-Feb-18
A really pleasant walk which we were encourage to take because there was this cache to find. Thanks to coongoola for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. Big GrinBig Grin

29-Oct-17
Day 4 in SWR and a chance today to explore the surrounding region a bit.

This was a quick find. Kids did not like all the spiders in the trail so we bailed after the first one in this trail. I think four days of hikes and late nights has made them a bit fragile! TNLN TFTC

16-Aug-17
Been passing this one for a while and finally managed headed down the track, enjoyed the walk on a nice day, Thanks coongoola Cool

24-Jul-17
A beautiful day for this lovely walk. Bush, water and lots of birds, what more can you ask for. Thanks to the hint this was a straightforward find.
Got back to our car to see a group of walkers armed with rakes, whipper snippets and assorted gear to clear up the path. It was a bit overgrown, but that just added to the charm.

After the seering temperature of yesterday we were unprepared for the rain that we experienced today.
We firstly headed up to Stuarts Point , returning by South West Rocks.
Such interesting locations & some very clever caches found.
Been by this area before but never having the time to make the walk along the river. Had to make the use of the hint to locate this well hidden cache.
Thanks for placing this cache coongoola

1720 GAFF1 Ah, the reason I didn't find the cache was only a short distance away, and I should have looked there. It is well within my usual circle that search within, but without the cache page, and only know the ratings and cache name and no hints from previous finders I finally spotted the hide about 8 m from where my GPSr showed GZ to be.
To small to leave a CSM in anyway! Wink Dry and intact.
At least the rain had held off from the brewing storm that had brought the CITO Event forward by half an hour.

23-Mar-14
After playing around in the sand dunes we headed over riverside. We got off to a bad start, climbing down over the edge of the river bank and then coming to a dead end. Mrs BG made it down via a track and was pretty happy with hereself as we made our way back towards the car. By now the kids had had enough caching but we spotted another trail and off we went again...take two.
My gps wouldn't settle anywhere great but once I did find it and signed the log it was spot on.
Thanks coongoola, cheers from Browngang
