My time management was awry today and but the time I got around to geocaching it was too late to travel afar. So I picked two nearby caches.
This was the first cache of the two. I’d been here before, but the place was muggle central on that day. I’ve driven past a few times and reminded myself that it was still on my to-do list.
When I pulled in there was only one other car present; a good sign so far. I managed to park only metres from the cache, but had sit and wait the others car out. Eventually they went, and left me alone for the hunt.
The first obstacle passed it was time to confront the second. A wide ditch full of water. I paced up and down the to look for an approach and eventually found a spot narrow enough to jump, and with a small tree to hang onto.
Then I followed by GPSr all the way to the cache, and past it a fair bit before it settled down and indicated I’d passed it. Back I went and as zero approached I had a look around. Then I spotted it. I was not imagining it to be like that. Log signing was accomplished quickly and the cache back in position.
Not to confront the water filled ditch again. I headed to the same place I crossed, but from this angle it looked wider. I managed to leap across the span, and landed in very soft leaf litter. I was sure I’d sunk below water level, but my shoes appeared mostly dry and I stepped away.
Back in the car I noted the find, then I also noted something else. I’d taken nothing, but left some skin and a little bit of blood on some stick back in there. More blood was oozing out. The things one does while geocaching.

In Bunbury and Collie for WAGB2022! A massive weekend of caching and catching up with friends. A big thank you to all the COs that have placed caches for this weekend, as well as COs maintained by existing listings. You have made this weekend what it is! Apologies for the generic logs. Cheers Rach2!
Day 6 of WAGB22 week, finished up at the annual dinner.
Today was hitting Bunbury pretty hard - particularly the south. Today managed 78 finds (including Lab Adventures), had a 6 DNF’s and 10 FTF’s.
Thanks to the local hiders in maintaining the hides.

Working my along Forrest Highway again and now I find myself in Bunbury. So many caches, so little time.
Was loose in the grass. I placed it back against the fence post.
Very wet here!
Rach2, I found SWH... dimor today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Hi there Rach2.
We found your cache **"SWH... dimor"** at 10:39:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 23655).
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thank you Rach2 for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Day two of my last road trip for 2017 with cravo10.
We started a bit later today, with a sleep in til 7am, we collected the few remaining caches around town before leaving town and heading towards Deanmill, Donnelly River, Nannup, Dunsborough, Busselton, Bunbury and finally back home to Perth.
We had a huge day collecting forty plus caches, even with a short detour to dunsbrough for work.
Really enjoyed finding some more of the Munda Biddi epic geocaches from their 2013 ride.
A great days caching. Thanks to the local COs for their hides over the last couple of days. We look forward to finding more caches on our next planned visits to the south west. Thanks

Rach2 I found your cache SWH... dimor thanks for placing this hide and bringing me to this area.
I arrived and found the container empty on the ground. A further search and I found the log. As I grabbed my pen a muggle arrived so I retreated to the seats. 15 mins later and he was still there! I decided to take the cache caching and return it later.
30mins I returned and replaced the cache in a home that was my best guess. TFTC

This is the final SWH cache we'll pick up for a while, having aimed to find the entire series in the past few weeks. We've ended up with 6 DNF or did not attempts, so it was great to end the hunt on a high note. Thanks for the placing this cache!
TomatoesRule, JELM-explorers found your geocache on 6 May 2017 and this is find # 482 for us! Well that's us done for the day! Well hidden cache this one. That's 14 caches for us today, happy with that seeing as we've been going for only three hours, had better geocaching days
Got up at the crack of Dawn to go down to Bunbury for the Donnerstag Event. WebblyWA did likewise & we set off early so that we could grab a couple of caches on the way down and even more after the Event.
Well seeing as the subject of this cache hosted the Event we just attended & that we have just met the CO of this cache at that Event we could not just drive past, now could we!? It was nice catching up with Dimor & meeting you Rach2. TFTC

An early pre dawn morning start for me to head over to PommieParkin2's place for our Big day out in Bunbury. We managed to grab 4 each on the way down before arriving at 8am for the Dönerstag Event. With the meet and greet celebrations over we headed off to grab some more caches and turn some solved puzzles into smileys. This was cache #9 of 32 for the day with just a few DNFs.
Well we just had to stop here how can you not when the CO and the Tributee are the hosts of the event that led us down to the Bunbury region in the first place. Was lovely to catch up with Dimor once again and great to meet you Rach. TFTC
