Logs

I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

I respect the sentiments behind the cache, but with this many DNFs and no owner response, I think it's time this was one was either fixed or archived to free up the area.

29-May-15
Apologies for not maintaining this cache. Health issues have prevented my doing so.
I will head down in the next week to restore the cache.

This is the best reason for a cache. Thank you for the colorful picture. I saw the benches and saw the places where cockatoos live. No cache.

07-Apr-15
No finds for a year.

27-Mar-15
Attempted this one tonight. I saw the park bench but couldn't find any sign of the thing mentioned in the hint. The only thing I left was some blood after tripping over some branches I didn't see at night. Thanks for sharing the story of your grandmother but I think this one has gone.

In Mt Eliza visiting the 'rents. I had a good search around. GPS put me in a garden on on the ther side of a fence. Could the CO please check it is still there?

29-May-14
Mr plus RogDel had an unsuccessful look around for this one. Not helped by the birdies making our GPSr pointing 'way beyond the fence into someone's back yard, dull, drizzly sky putting them of, presumably. Shame, because it's not far from home and we have been meaning to pick up this one for ages, since it was published when we were away. We'll need to try again.

I was in the area for events in the morning and evening, so after lunch at Mum and Dad's, I had a couple of hours to go caching. Found after a short search, but I wondered if it was how it was meant to be. It looked as though one end of it was missing, or it was meant to be somewhere else. Anyway, thanks to Mrs Gilesy for the cache.

Cache was indeed muggled. Have replaced with a new look cache.
Please replace exactly as found. Happy caching!

Thanks for update.

Last find back in early December, since then a series of DNF's. This cache appears to be in need of owner attention. It needs to be temporarily disabled by the owner until they have an opportunity to check on the cache and take whatever action is necessary.

Came with aunty she knew where it was and it's no longer there.

29-Mar-14

Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, The weather was a little crazy today, typical Melbourne, four seasons in one day, We found a mixed bag of caches tonight, from tricky hides, creative puzzles and quiet a few key holder drive by caches. Thanks mrs Gilesy for the cache.

I was not looking forward to a night of caching in the rain; this is meant to be Spring! Anyway it was another night out with my good caching buddy, Rebel Acts. So much has popped up in the last few months to the south of us, so we set our sights on heading that way to re-clear out areas that were once spotless. A few DNF's for the night were dissappointing but a total tally in excess of 30 after some long unsuccessful searches was still a good night. I even got home early, but for the Rebel, who had been up since 4, had a longer day than I. A quick find and the last for the night. Thanks for the cache.

Well on arrivle @ what should have been GZ we found a pencile stuck in the ground in front of the seat & my GPSr was pointing over to the front yard of the house.
So im thinking that the cache is MIA or im going cache blind.

I sat on grandma's chair to sign the log and thought of my nana who passed away a couple of years ago. TFTC SL

Took a little time to find but no muggles around. Micro caches are not so easy on this grandma's fingers. I dropped the lid then had trouble returning the log sheet into the container. Can't wait to go caching with my 2 1/2 year old grandson. He loves caching but unfortunately be lives on the other side of the world. TFTC

Passing by the area with Nut bear and just had to stop and have a look for this one. Well we looked & looked, but didn't find it. Then while I was looking somewhere else, Nut bear said those magic words and a very well concealed hide was found. Thanks mrs Gilesy for the cache and a story that I'm sure will touch many. It certainly did me.

Out for a quick cache or two with BorisB&Natasha. Luckily we arrived before school was out as there was not a person in sight to hinder our search. Well was almost ready to give up on this when I spotted something and thought what about there? Yay the well hidden cache was found. Sat on the seat to sign the log. What a beautiful story about your grandma, thanks for sharing it with us. Thanks for the cache mrs Gilesy. Smile

I had a couple of hours to spare after dropping my oldest boy off at cubs so my youngest boy Cooper and I headed out to find the closest two caches. I grew up in Mt Eliza and know the area quite well. We parked nearby, got out jackets on and torches fired up and made our way to GZ. A short search and I had the cache. We moved to the nearby seat to sign the log before I returned the cache to its hiding spot. Thanks for the hide.
