At the beginning of my caching career, GreenGecko1 laid out an agenda of caching each capital city. I'm happy to report 6 states down and only one to go.This weekend was our allocated visit time, unfortunately it arrived on the back of the recent Dunedin Mega epic.Arriving in town Thursday night at 11pm, we grabbed our hire car and set off.Happy to sign another challenge.Caches signed as either Muggle65 or M65.

Find # 10537See Aug 2023 write note for qualifying details On a quick visit to Perth for a work trip and had a few hours to spare before I checked into my accommodation in South Perth. So went about signing the challenge logs as I qualify for most of those, pick up a solved multi from a previous trip, maybe a trad or two, and worked in a pesky AL with one of the locations causing me some grief. Day 2 of our novo WA trip and today I had the chance to get out for a few hours of caching. I chose the South Perth/ Melville area for today just to get things warmed up for when things get serious from tomorrow onwards. Decided to head out on my own cos pazza working and what else do you do on your birthday? Geocache of course! I had a plan to add a few more Perth LGAs to our tally as well as a list of challenge caches that I have been eying up for a while.Don't quite qualify for this, so close though....only missing X! Will have to come back after I get that pesky letter!Quick find, missing lid though, looks like someone has added an extra logsheet too.

After a wonderful weekend in Perth catching a couple of shows , shopping , running errands , consuming lots of fine dining and of course fitting in a bit of geocaching whenever time and circumstances permitted. Sunday we just had a few hours to spare before we needed to head back to Bunbury. We decided to head to South Perth, starting with a lovely walk along the foreshore collecting caches and Adventure Labs along the way . It was great to see so many muggles making the most of the fabulous spring weather out and about undertaking lots of different activities in this beautiful area. We had a productive three hours geocaching collecting in total 5 Ad Labs , 3 challenge caches , 3 multis caches , 5 traditional caches . This is our eighth cache find of the day along with a near by Adventure Lab . We were aware we had qualified for this challenge for quite some time but this is our first opportunity to collect . Nice little suburban park and very quiet when we arrived so able to search unhindered. Soon had cache in hand. Thanks for the cache richlink . I’m visiting from Brisbane for a few days while my husband is working here. The last time I was in Perth was in 1990. Today I walked 16km, getting quite wet in the rain at times, targeting particular caches.
SL while it was raining. Need to see if I qualify.

It seems I qualify for this challenge, perhaps the hardest part is to get to the location to actually sign the log. Making the most of life’s opportunities, or indeed creating said opportunities, is part of the fun!

A quick detour for this find on the way home from uni today, thankfully a quick and simple find...
As for the challenge, after around 8 years of caching and over 2200 finds I had plenty to find my qualifing finds fro, but it was a close call, with only 1 "X" cache in the mix, although no worries with the spread of cache type, so I added an extra challenge by going back through my 2019/2020 travelling finds in an attempt to have each of the 26 spread across different regions as well... Apart from that troublesome X that had me record Victoria twice, I reckon I did alright. Thanks for the fun of this challenge richlink!

Having a play around on project-gc the other night and found out I qualify for this cache so added it to the list for when I was back in the area.

Well today is that day, I parked across the street and making sure I was suitably out of sight tied my shoe laces and retrieved the cache from the first place I looked.

Out nabbing a few caches after dropping by Curtin to submit an assignment, late on Sunday evening. This cache was one of them.

Nabbed this one shortly before midnight. No one around on this deserted Sunday evening in Perth. The log has only 3 spaces left. As I didn’t have any intentions of finding any caches tonight, I didn’t have a spare log on me. It will need to be replaced in the near future. Cheers richlink!

After having found a number of virtuals and ECs in mtro Perth I'd turned my attention to finding a few challenges for which I was qualified before driving out of Perth for the next day's activities. Thanks richlink for bringing me to this location. I found the cache at 13:08:00. This was my Find 5 for today out of a Total number of 5 Finds and 0 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I returned the cache as I found it.

This find brings my total number of Finds to 4365.

I have qualified for this one for a little while. Managed to get into the area this arvo, and made the find. All safe and sound. See attached image for qualifying caches.

Found the hide quickly ... after the muggles in view moved on.
Also had a nice cuppa while waiting, and bought some water for the rest of the journey

Was in Perth for work for a few days and had some time on Sunday afternoon to grab a few caches. Had researched this one prior to leaving home so knew we qualified for this. Reached GZ and knew what I was up against, but happily made the find quite quickly on this very quiet muggle free afternoon. Logging now with a photo of our qualifying logs. TFTC!

This was where we ended our geocaching day. I fulfil this challenge and attach my screen grab. The cache itself was a lot easier to find than I thought it would be as it looked quite a muggly area. However, it was possible to reach the cache without being seen. TFTC and a favourite for the challenge

Finally made a trip to Perth in the school holidays to put some smilees on the map. We have written a note previously to show we qualify for this cache.

School hols and looking for a project, saw this and found we qualify to find this cache, now for a road trip to Perth. Not sure when that will be, although checking the Challenge Caches, we do happen to qualify for a few way up there, (north of Busselton). Maybe something to look forward to at WAGoes Big in September, that will be an ideal time to put a smiley on this cache.

For this cloudy Easter Monday, the geobiking is perfect for some caches in the city.
On the way back to our car we took the time to log this challenge.

For no real reason other than 'we wanted to', Net88 and I are visiting Perth and surrounds for a week of adventures. And this is about as far from home as I can get on the Australian continent! Just shy of 3610 kilometres from home to this GZ! We had flown in very late last night, and today we were out on foot to grab an eventual 24 finds, with well over 30,000 steps mostly targeting some choice geocache listings.

To be specific, we're starting our day in Como walking in a huge loop for a healthy array of offerings. And we are without a car, so chose to take the train. We headed to Elizabeth Quay, and caught the train down to Canning Bridge Station to begin heading north before we eventually cross Canning Bridge.

Our loop now was heading east and a bit south. This challenge was up next for us. It was still dang hot out, but thankfully this leg was a lot shorter. As we neared GZ, the park across the road was full of kids and the sprinklers were going, so nowhere really to sit and chill out there. Instead Net went inside the shop to grab some cool drinks to help out and I set about making the find.

Down the lane I went, feeling mighty uncomfortable. It's not the usual place I'd personally hide a geocache, much less a challenge, but I don't think anyone saw me while I got the deed done. Another one I easily qualify for - my relatively arbitrary qualifying list is below. I notice I could even fulfill the list for all characters 0-9 too. And this is my tenth Western Australia geocache find. #FunFacts!Thanks for this geocache, richlink

Captain Terror and I were spending the week in Perth. I had wanted to visit WA for quite some time, it is the last Australian state/territory for me to visit. We had made a list of geocaches that we wanted to find and this cache had made the list. Captain Terror and I both rather enjoy working towards challenges and we own a few ourselves so this cache was a must. This was the tenth cache for our huge day of 24 caches and 31331 steps.

We arrived at GZ and Captain Terror made the quick find and I bought a couple of powerades to get us moving at some sort of decent pace again. Our second find for the day. Some muggles were opening shop close by so I acted as cockatoo on the corner while MummyPenny found the cache. We sat at the café and did the paperwork over coffee before returning it.

Thursdays I finish work a tad earlier which mean more time for caching. This cache was next on my list after finding my hiders A-Z. Managed to get parking close to GZ and the cache was quickly in hand. TFTC and Challenge richlink its been quiet an adventure collecting these caches over the last 6 years. Challenges caches are always great fun! Finding the container was no problem but the area was quite busy this afternoon so I had to wait for a clear run. My list of caches is attached as a picture. Thank you for the challenge and for the cache richlink.

Thanks for the hide richlink. Out enjoying a mild summers day having a good run filling in some blue question marks on the map. I qualify for this cache but have the list at home will upload when I get back. Having a good run so far finding a few challenge caches as well as traditionals.

Enjoyable to scroll through past logs and pick which caches to use for this challenge. Quick find, though not on the side of the road we expected. Glad it was late on a quiet Sunday and no one about. TFTC+C.

This was next on my 'knock off some challenges' sojourn around the area today. I knew I had qualified for this one as I'd already done a similar version back in Victoria. A nice quick find at 12:10 despite the well patronaged establishment just around the corner and it was so nice to see a non-nano container.
