Easy one! Very beautiful location! I didnt have a pen bc I just remebered to check if there is any caches in the area when I was already by the lighthouse.
Awesome little walk here......saw 2 snakes on the way back with geo nephew nearly stepping on one. Thanks for taking us here.
Pick a cairn... any cairn! There are so many up here, so thank god for coordinates! Love Lighthouses!TFTC
Travel bug visit. Full log to follow. Exploring West Cape, Yorke Peninsula. ?????????
A spectacular place due to the elevation, you look down on the surrounding coves and islands. A favorite for the location. Tftc
A day at the bottom of the Yorke. More enjoying the scenery than caching but grabbed a few anyway. This was one of them.Should have read the logs before arriving at GZ. Cache container was toast. A quick trip back to the car for a replacement was done and is now in place. Should be all good here for awhile.TFTC#7608
We found the cache but unfortunately the container was smashed and no notebook in site. Very cool spot otherwise, lots of wind and brown snakes!
There is nothing left here but plastic scraps. I signed a bit of plastic and put it under a rock.Maybe the next cacher can bring a new sturdy container and log book.Great location.
Found this cache on a beautiful day exploring the NP at the tip of the Yorke Peninsula
Was surprised to also pick up a travel bug

Dropped off Daisy's Mission.
Daisy has bee hanging around in my Camera Bag for way too long, so off you go into the big wide world, good luck and happy caching.
This is my last log, as I've given up on Caching, and prefer to concentrate on my Photography.

I am fit. I cairn hike up the hill. I am brave. I cairn go towards the cliff. I am smart. I cairn find the cache! TFTC
We explored the national park and its beautiful scenery on a rather warm day. What an amazing park- we loved it! We did many of the walks and 21 caches in total, with no DNFs. Yay! What spectacular views here. TFTC
Cache container definitely looking a bit worse for wear but a beautiful spot. TFTC
Found open and exposed. I am surprised it hadn’t blown away. Logged and put it all back together. The container needs replacing as it is crumbling to dust. I am not one who cairns due to the damage they cause so I made a ring around the cache and placed a flat one on top. The most I was willing to do as cairns are not good for our wildlife. Photo shows how I found it
Took the trek up to the lighthouse. Cache was found although the lid is starting to break down and could use a replacement. Found the path tag left by the honeymooners - thank you! TFTC!
Goldy and Geo4Jimmy are staying a couple of nights on the Yorke Peninsula for a "must do" visit to Innes National Park, as well as caches of course!
What a nice part of the world to visit, a real blessing to have in South Australia. Thanks to all cache owners for the tour of the area during our stay here.
More detailed log will follow.

I heard something about a badge level thingy for writing longer logs... so feel to ignore the words from this point onwards.
Thanks for going to the effort to prepare, hide and submit this geocache for me to find, another smiley for my geomap.
Thanks to the cache owners who do regular maintenance checks to ensure other players have an enjoyable experience when out in the field.
Your cache has been retrieved and the log book has been signed with a joint stamp reading "Jimmy & Goldy".

An incredible walk and an incredible spot. It's nice to just sit here and listen to the wind and ocean roar. TFTC
Day 7 school holiday adventures in S a saw us hit up the national park. What an amazing place. We spent most of the day here finding random caches as we went. Easy find here. Stunning views! Thanks for the cache
Absolutely brilliant here, this is why l do geocaching for places like this. Thank you for bringing me here. TFTCq
Decided to head down the Yorke Peninsula as we hadn't been here before.
Drove to the bottom of the Peninsula and glad we did as the scenery is stunning
Stopped here and enjoyed the walk despite the wind blowing straight into your face, no chance of falling off the cliff!
Cache was located in one of the many cairns, log signed and returned. Now to get out of the wind

Plenty of cairn builders. Spectacular destination. Cache looking like a ship wreck! Day 8 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its the first day it has not been more than a chilly brisk! The Innes National Park and it’s caches was high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’m out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s today and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game
After two nights camping for two nights at Pondalowie, we finally made it to the Cape.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
mollypix, I found Tell Someone Who Cairns today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Found by the Aussie branch of Dobie's Pride on a beautiful autumn day. TFTC!
TFTC Took Path tag and TB. Container size is a sandwich container about 6” x 6” square. We brought one too small to fit log book. Replaced ziplock bag. View worth the walk.
Great spot, bit blown away by it all today a change from yesterday and shredding our feet on the rocks and boiling sand at Shell beach . Dropped off TB and picked up TB too.
Found at 2.00pm. Another simply stunning location. Cache was found exposed to the elements.
After logging the find we rebuilt the hide.
We left a trackable and a pathtag.
Thanks

The three of us were spending some time on Yorke Peninsula, and today we went for a drive around southern Yorke Peninsula.
TeenTardis found this cache in the first place he looked. Some really spectacular views from here.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache mollypix.

Found this afternoon while exploring the area, definitely worth the walk and views from here were beautiful. TFTC
We are traveling around this big country and are exploring the Yorke Peninsula. Staying here at Marion bay and went to visit the National Park and collect a few caches. This was a quick find for us, so more time to admire the view! TFTC
Owl and Eagle were on the Yorke Peninsula as a replacement for a cancelled Perth trip. They headed to Innes National Park, with Eagle pulling over every so often for a cache for Owl. This one was on a planned walk, so a quick detour got the cache. That's not a cairn! This is a cairn!! (Though that one didn't have a cache. Neither did that one or that one, so Owl prefers the other one.)
We visited here in January but it was raining so we didn't take the walk out here. Today was better and we did enjoy the walk and the views. Saw some Hooded Plovers on the granite rocks below - aren't they supposed to be on sandy beaches?? Left 90 year old geopapa back at the lunch shelter where we joined him for lunch after the walk. Fav point.
Day trip to Innes NP and the weather has fined up beautifully. Thanks for bringing us to see all the cairns. Fave for the interesting walk and amazing views!TFTC!

And a cache. Under a rock
We cairn find it
thanks for the smiley from another awesome cache hide location mollypix
Found on a daytrip birthday caching with Purrfect Di , Sebastbat , and Jack.
What do you do when you can't have a few days off caching... cram it into one!!!
Only found a handful, but they were awesome views, fun drives, refreshing walks,
redeeming some dnfs and generally have a great day enjoying the sunshine and caching
---
it's not over yet!
- - cache at a social distance wherever you can - -
Stay away from bugs ( except travel bugs of course )
- avoid people as much as you can [:o)]
- get out and pop some caches in our regional areas !
This weekend, I headed to the Yorke Peninsula. The goal was to visit Innes National Park for the Saturday to find a few of the oldie geocaches, but also to enjoy a different vicinity for geocaching. I used Edithburgh to base myself for the weekend's activities. On the drive to/from Edithburgh, I visited Ardrossan, Port Vincent, Wool Bay, and Coobowie, and also visited as far south as Sultana Point and Troubridge Point.
Today, after participating in Edithburgh parkrun, I met gridge98 at Marion Bay, and we travelled through Innes National Park. We drove up to Browns Beach, and then made our way back visiting and hiking Royston Head, West Cape Lightstation, Ethel Beach, Cape Spencer Lighthouse, and the historic township of Inneston. With a few hours left before the Edithburgh dinner event, we separated and I decided to head north to visit a few Yorke Peninsula oldie geocaches. Following dinner, gridge98 and I walked from Edithburgh to Coobowie find the *Where Ancestors Walked By the Sea* series.
We walked out to this point next to the lighthouse, and once at GZ, I found the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. At least it wasn’t in the big cairn nearby. Thanks mollypix for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A nice walk out here along the cliff edge. The view here is amazing. We arrived and due to the hint I went over to the rather large cairn. Checked the GOS and realised that I was in the wrong spot and Davidwazza made the find. Cache is all good
A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.
Thanks for the cache

Went right past cairn even though I knew what I was looking for. Girlfriend beat me to it dammit
Found while staying in the Engineers Lodge at Inneston for a few nights, with some great scenic locations visited and some nice walks during the days. Wild and windy today, nearly getting blown off the cliff during the search! Thanks for the cache mollypix!
A quick find on my tour around Innes National Park. Stinking hot day so not too many visitors today so I could search without interruption.
Thanks for the cache mollypix.
