#9847. I needed three finds today. The CO seems to be archiving her streak caches. This one seems to have escaped her attention so far, so I decided to find it before it disappears. The park was deserted, and the cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Went with paddle chick to find this cache as a ftf the night of the big Storm. So today I went to find it as I have my own cache name.tftc .retrieved a travel bug
I had targeted this cache on a previous occasion but managed to miss both entrances to the park on my circuit around the block so had to carry on and look for another cache of the day.
Today I was better prepared and had noted the alley way access in Titoki St on google maps (the other entrance was only spotted when I was walking across the park to GZ). Place was deserted today. Was surprised to see all the fruit trees planted in the reserve - I hope the locals are taking advantage of any ripe fruit.
Cache was nicely located for undercover searching, and it was an instant find in the obvious place. Managed to squeeze in a very small TB. Thanks for day #323 of my streak.

We had to walk a lot....to get this one...lol...
We just couldn't find the access.... But after a longer while of wandering around, we found it...finally. Nice cache! Thank you for hiding!

On a geocaching holiday with tmann421 seeking out caches at the top of the South Island. Thanks to all the CO's for making this such a memorable trip.

It took longer than it should have as I walked around the park at one with nature TFTC
Another weekend day, another mission, and another time with the Seagnoid in the co-pilots seat. Todays target was types in a day; I was targetting an improvement on my previous (puny) five and seven were up for grabs (wish I'd 'saved' the Brightwater virtual a couple of weeks ago but ho hum)
A not so early start time had us on the road just after seven and getting back oround 9 in the evening made another long, but satisfying, caching day and experience. we were targetting traditional, multi, mystery/puzzle, earth, letterbox, wherigo and event in Stoke to be the cherry on the cake. In the end I managed a satisfying six types, gave up on the earth ccahe at Kina Sea cliffs as too far to walk with the start time for the event looming. Still managed over 50 in a day which was very satisfying, including a bonus F T F to finish the day off, thanks gahaylock.
Post event and a few park and grab caches were what was wanted to finish off the day
No problems here, replaced as found

[green] Out again with Capperz. This time with a more relaxed 7am start. Mainly to go to an event in Nelson, but let's face it - its just to go geocaching again. A number of aims, the main one being to get Capperz seven cache types in one day (I already have eight), but alas we could not squeeze the earth cache in. Still, we managed to upgrade his bronze badge to gold. On the way we found too many nanos and bisons, too many DNFs (mostly in Stoke - Is there something about that place I should know?) and even a brand new empty logbook!
Approached this cache from the wrong way - It is NOT down the cul-de-sac! Once we had the right place finding it was a little easier!

All quiet here tonight :: just me and geomutt,,,, made this find harder than it should have been but got it in the end ... Thanx4tc
The sound of child muggles almost put me off searching but they were safely fenced in out of harms way. All found good and well. Log will need replacing soon.
GPS went a little haywire but stuck to our instincts and found it easily. TFTC.
Staying in the old homeland for the Easter break with mrs tws, had a great time and weather not to bad, real nice on Easter Monday
Nice hide, many thanks

Would never have known the park was there. TFTC. http://www.geocaching.com/images/icons/icon_smile_cool.gif
Makka pakka 2 went out to day to see what he could find and look what he found TFTC The makka pakka 2s went to Stoke to day to see the model display at the Stoke hall then up to Isel house. And ten caches on the way
A bit of a mission getting to the cache. Hands and knees. Or maybe to dark. Found and returned. On the way to work.tftc
Got a call from work just as I was pulling up to say I'd left my suitcase in the carpark. What they didn't say was that I'd somehow knocked it over backing and dragged it along before setting it loose. Feel a right idiot! I miss those not so long ago stress-free days as a free agent! On the opposite scale this park must be an absolute gem in full blossom. TFTC #5076
Hey. Who would worry about one measly suitcase. I bet it had boring stuff starting with "W" in it. At least you found the cache.
Nice One!!!!!!!!!! This was the third Streak find with the kids from the Nayland College LSC and Mrs. Topgear. The 'Ole knees survived the afternoon walk by watching the kids have a ball following the "Red Arrow" Much fun. Thanks
First time ever in this park, that' s what I enjoy about geocaching it makes you explore your own back yard. Thanks for bringing me here, cool spot for a picnic .
Slowly streaking around a few of these caches that have been published while I was out of town. Not in any order really just as I get the chance and come across them. Good spot for a cache. I had a smile to myself as I walked across the grass to GZ looking over at the Kindergarten where Flying Phoenix went when he really was 'Lil' Stu'. How time flies as he's off to High School next year! TFTC, Biggles.
Quick find on the way home from work to give us a smile on 26th day of August. Thanks for the cache.
A quick dash into the bushes before heading to watch the afternoon netball game. No trouble making the find.
Thanks Sidewaze for placing this cache.

What s surprise. Got in from my morning bike ride and noticed the latest in the series just 750m from home. Decided that breakfast and a shower were more important and so waited until on my way to work to make the find. Much to my surprise everyone else must have slept in and so claimed the FTF at 7:45am . Another lovely little park hidden away from the world. TFTC
Found by Mrs no.13, picked up by Hazedarus, and handed to me to sign We arrived at GZ just seconds ahead of them but it was she who made the find. It was nice to catch up with them again in yet another reserve I didn't know existed before now. Day 15 of the 'streak' done. TFTC.
We arrived at GZ only fractionally ahead of no13. They made the find, then the log was passed around. This might well become a morning routine so am thinking of bringing the thermos next time TFTC
Quite a while ago we tried placing a cache in this park but a very curious neighbour wouldn't take her eyes off us so we aborted the placement. I still made this find harder than it needed to be, but in fairness it was put back almost out of sight! Managed to catch a glimpse of the corner of it and made the grab. I put it back a bit easier to spot but still hidden TFTC
Busy spot today!

Finding the little hidden park was harder than finding the cache!A nice easy one thanks for the cache.
Heading in the right direction to look for the new 2nd closest to home unfound cache. Both team members took slightly different routes to GZ - and the one who took the more direct route had the cache in hand when the other arrived.
Park all empty when we were here so not problems but we can see it would be tricky sometimes.
Thanks. Another cache although we still say we are not necessarily streaking!!

He he he. Anyone willing to wager that the SoBads will still be protesting that they're not streaking as they log number 31?
I'll admit it. I'm out streaking and FDFing and luving it in the Stoke caching mecca. Only 12 more FDF's to go plus another 20 Fast To Finds.
Park quiet this arvo for me too. Glad the kindy had gone home.

Murray had this signed before we even turned our PC on. I was 2nd here surprisingly at 9.15am.....I see it has been busy since. thanks
A power cut then no signal on the phone, so had to wait. When I returned a likely looking couple headed up the path ahead of me, so I gave them some time then wandered over to find them playing spotlight in the bushes. Paddlechick & her mum then handed over the log for me to sign.
#15, Just about half way there!!

The power went out as we headed out after todays FDF. It wasnt till we got here we realised that we had no data on the smartphone and so no idea what part of the reserve to look in. Abondanded the attempt and went off to do one of the other Streak caches that was downloaded on the GPS. With the power back on we returned. As we headed up the alleyway a car pulled up. Cache was just being retrieved when Eder-Ents arrived, had a chat before heading off again. Yet another little reserve I didnt know existed. TFTC
