07-Jan-14
This one has gone strangely quiet. Will disable pending investigation.

07-Jan-14
Had a good look. Is it still there?

10-Nov-13

22-Oct-13
Quick find and sign in the rain Smile (no magnet where i found it) Thanx4tc Big Grin

15-Oct-13
Ah, it's just a magnet I thought! That thing could wipe all credit cards and 100 meter radius! LOL!

29-Sep-13
Found on a nice Sunday morning

29-Sep-13
Well we thought this was an easy find but like others found we had weak muscles. TFTC

24-Sep-13
Nice One!!!!!!!!!!!Found this one with a few LSC students from Nayland College. They really enjoy following the Red Arrow to GZ and counting down the distance to go "metre by metre". Much fun. Thanks

22-Sep-13
thats one beast of a magnet. waited for the rain to stop. then a quick bike ride and back home. the streak continues. tftc

18-Sep-13
Like someone else said about trying to get the cache in hand. Good suction. Well we managed to sign the log without detaching the container as we got the log sheet out with the cache still in place. Thanks for the cache.

08-Sep-13
Well its a very strong magnet indeed. I thought for a moment that this was a decoy that had been permanently fixed but after a bit of a struggle (maybe I need to go to the gym!) I had the cache in my hand and the log signed. TFTC, Biggles.

07-Sep-13
Easy find; tough grab. Thanks for the find.

07-Sep-13
Found it but couldn't grab log book cause it was bolted there and didn't have tweezers on me

07-Sep-13
Come on guys, it's only a magnet, where are your muscles?

06-Sep-13
We decided this cache would be easier to find at night so headed off after dinner to complete the mission. This one is certainly firmly attached! TFTC.

06-Sep-13
The timing we thought was of the essence. As a night cache it should be easier and it was. Firmly attached but the log was extracted, signed and put back without problems. TFTC

04-Sep-13
Quick find Big Grin but had to talk to the muggle who was enjoying a cigarette on the bridge. As an ex-pupil of Nayland College he knew all about geo-caching from an enthusiastic teacher he had enjoyed during his school days.

02-Sep-13
Wow! super strong spot!TFTC

02-Sep-13
Not streaking anymore, but still wanted to find these. First spot we looked. Had done the old cache here. Took a while to get the ' log'. Great day out with NzRach777. Tftc.

Thanks!!!! Big Grin

Spent too long unsuccessfully searching for this one on the way to the event today. Got a good steer from The Redshift about where he found it. Well I had felt round there. Got a replacement cache from the CO which I put in a good place but when I thought about it big hands wouldn't be able to reach it. She had warned me about the strong magnet - it took me all my strength to manoever it off. It still bugged me though about the other one so I had one last forage and came up trumps! Replacement firmly in place and original removed. TFTC #5063

Found it after a wee search, was not entirely sure where to look. Got there in the end, mightn't last too long here. Thanks Smile

29-Aug-13
A favourite spot of ours, where HazzFnz put his first cache. Got muggled too many times by naughty school kids smokin' under the bridge! Well, who knows, but that's what we figured. Thanks Sidewaze, once again.

27-Aug-13
Sounded like a good one for a team visit late afternoon to have 2 sets of eyes and fewer muggles. First check of likely spots proved the D rating to be correct. GPS did suggest another possible but less likely area, but logs suggested our first thoughts were correct. PAF while letting a muggle pass would have been very helpful, except we had looked there first. SoBad then spotted something somewhere else - cache creep in action, but a good spot anyway.
Thanks. Yes, we think it it clear that we are streaking now. Well with 5 days to go why not.

26-Aug-13
A late afternoon bike ride with the whole family so decided to stop and find this one which was on our route. Didn't need it for the streak today but it was good to have the extra numbers here with muggles able to sneak up from many different directions. Mr & Mrs KE took a side each but it was M that came up with the cache. Thanks for placing it.

I live close by and had to nip home at lunchtime so decided on a quick detour. Pretty quiet around GZ but I must admit, it took some time to find the cache. Hmmmm....I'm sure I checked there first time round!!??!! Still, gotcha.... TFTC!!

The return visit! Armed with a bit of additional info about where the cache wasn't hidden I returned full of optimism and very quickly found the beast where I'd already looked - how did I not find it the first time. Note to self: don't rush the initial search and open eyes. I remember this location well from the archived cache "The Riverside Chase", being a First to Hide for HazzfNZ and my second only FTF. Thanks for the August series and this cache.

19-Aug-13
Thought I'd go for two finds today with all the back-up caches now in hand. Was worried by the prior logs and sure enough, just couldn't put my hands on the pesky thing but did manage to accumulate a bit of dirt on my good clothes. I'll be back.

18-Aug-13
2nd to find
searched around and it wasn't long before the cache was in our handsBig Grin
thank you for the cache

(Day 18) Yippeeee! A FTF at last 8:30am who needs to sleep in on a Sunday meet two walkers a runner and a cyclist while I was looking, nice tricky hide as I was a little worried my race was going to be a no show still got their in the end and great to see a empty log book for a change..... thanks for placements it made my day...

18-Aug-13
As like Marchwood, we couldn't find it. Two of us searched for a while but too many possible places and muggles looking at us veery strangely. Sadly DNF

18-Aug-13
This took some finding...worker finally nailed it. By then we had seen one geo-guru come and go, and another arrived to share the hunt.
Good ol' chin wag thrown in. Thanks

18-Aug-13
Heading towards location we passed Top Gear who wished us luck as he was giving up. At GZ Bum & Worker were busy searching. Good to finally meet the famous B&W team. Had a good chat before Worker finally found the tricky cache. Thanks for another streak Smile

It didn't seem to be where I was lookin'

18-Aug-13
Came back this evening for another look. Have deleted my 2001 dnf. Not worth trying to bring it forward to 2013. Thought that I'd looked everywhere but there is always one spot that you have either missed or not looked at well enough. I didn't think that you'd hide it in a place where it would float away but totally missed this simple hiding place on the first visit.
TFTC and an FDF

18-Aug-13
Quick find on return visit just on dark. I thought I had looked there too, but that's geocaching! Good one, TFTC

18-Aug-13
I'd read a few logs by the time I arrived, so wasn't feeling positive. Also I was in full sight of the gardener busy across the stream, but fortunately he was preoccupied with cleaning up after his pruning.

Now to the business at hand, I recall spending far too long here before. Plenty of places for a hide. Time wore on and eventually after a second prod in all the places I'd checked, there it was. Easy as, always is when you've got the cache in your hand.

TFTC
