Logs
Found it while checking the view from the top. Thanks for cache container is pretty rusted out but log is still dry.
Thought I might as well welcome myself toNambour again. Had a look found nothing, had a seat and had a look from a distance. Hmm there is a couple of likely hiding spots and when I looked at the second one there it was. Signed the log, and away I went again.
Whilst nearby for a Memorial service I had noticed this one was just up the road so I came up here afterwards to grab it. Once at GZ didn't take too long before I found the cache in a sneaky location! Thanks wesso family!
Up in Nambour for a weekend of off-road caching with Peppa. Picking up a few caches before heading to the motel. A short search and the cache was in hand.Tftc Wesso FamilyFind #4743
After taking most of the day to get from Caloundra to Nambour, Ive finally teamed up with Davinells for some last minute caching crazinessThis took a little back and forth before we finally spied the containerThanks Wesso Family
After this morning’s event in the city, I decided I needed a drive to clear my head and have a little time to myself. It just so happened I had a couple of caches that I required to fill in some holes in certain grids. I also stopped at a few as I happen to go past. I even got a ftf while I was in the area.
After a few caches in the beach area, I decided to head to the hills and do a few around there. This was an easy find although it did take a little thinking and looking. The rubbish around here is a little bit concerning.
I quickly signed the log and replaced as found. I jumped back into the truck and was off to the next target cache. Thanks for the cache and the hide.

Visiting the Sunny Coast today for a CITO, I headed up early to collect some caches in the Nambour area.
A quick find at gz, clever hide!

Thought it might be on top of the sign then it started to rain. So surreal sitting on top of the sign in the rain watching the cars drive by. Thanks for the Cache

Lol… just as I called “Found it”, Shazzar66 called “Found it”. We both had a find here. Two caches, twice the welcome to Nambour! TFTC Wesso
Quick easy find while up the coast with Duppers. (Funny, we both found a cache at this location. Must be the old and a replacement. ) TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
A nice drive up from the Gold Coast to meet up with geo friends E_Smiley and AtTheLakeHouse to find a few planned caches.
We called in here after completing the nearby new multi cache 'August', so it was kind of a park & grab for us.
Thanks wesso family for the neat hide.

A half day of caching and touring around the inland from the Sunshine Coast with a little sightseeing and a little geocaching. Some terrific views around this area

Wesso Family I found your cache Welcome to Nambour on 26/6/2022, 4:05 pm. This is my find 3613 and find # 12 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I walked out to this cache from downtown nambour the other day, when i decided to finally do something about this uncached town in which i was born.
It was a really hot day too.
Not having much luck in town, i saw this on the map and thought to myself, this one has to be there and bigger than my thumbnail, so i should have more luck.
Well it still took almost as long as the walk back, but i didn't mind, i found it and it was mostly downhill from here.
Thanks wesso_family for bringing me out here with a geocache.
Lid was almost rusted shut tight too.

I certainly must be losing my touch. Visited a number of GZs around town today, with not much luck. Not DNFs but DNS. From workmen nearby, to not the correct retrieval gear, to previous DNFs, this is the first in about 6 caches.

Just a check up on this one today after all the work that has been happening in the area. Cache I'd still safely tucked away.
This one was last logged in the book by my children back in 2016 we have started geocaching again to share with our Brazilian friend. We left a small item for trade
Found this little number on a family visit this afternoon. A quick find overlooking the beautiful Nambour valley. Love the sign. Tftc Wesso
Thanks Wesso Family. I pass here often and had no idea this sign and table were here! Cache is all good and I added a charm

Heading on into Nambour to grab a couple of caches today for what was supposed to be a nice easy Wacky Wednesday with NyssaFlutterby, we made a quick stop in here for this cache, with me almost missing the pull off.
Cache found quickly and log signed, it was then time to ramp up the exercise efforts for the day a little.
Thanks for the cache wesso family.

This cache did not take too long to find at GZ which was just as well with the neighbour's dog barking and the never ending stream of cars passing by.

Nambour is my home town, so I had to grab at least one smilie while here for lunch with my mum. TFTC
Seeing I had to come to Nambour chasing a coin it seemed only fitting to meet the introduction to this lovely town. I still remember as a kid having to drive through town with the stink of something unholy that was from some cane train, so bad you couldn’t blame your brother for the fart but tried anyway. Thank goodness my dad was there to light up a cigarette in the car to drown out the awful smell.
That was a time before seatbelts, political correctness, the internet (in fairness it made porn accessible to everyone), phones, tablets, second-hand smoke, sexting and whatever else the teens of today do for entertainment. Back in the day I’m sure that my Dad hanging a durrie out the car window would have been used on a billboard if some chemist could process the film within a fortnight.
Snap! I’m showing my age but at least my testicles aren’t hitting the floor yet, no matter how much I want them to. This was a different trip to all those years ago. In order to reminisce I drove into a petrol station and asked for whatever pack of cigarettes cost less than a dollar. When I found out that bungers now cost more than a mortgage, I knew times had changed. tftc

Heading out of Nambour after a few hours in cleaning the map up a little. Previously looked for this one before but my GPS was not having a good day that day as it took me to the next intersection (where there is another sign). Today was however, a lot better.
After braving the ten thousand spiders and ants, the cache was quickly found, signed in situ - rather then brave the spiders again - and replaced and I was out of there. Onto to Wombeye it was in the quest for home.
Thanks Wesso family, cache is in good condition.

Didn’t quite make my needed numbers yesterday. So it’s up very early grabbing caches on the way to my target. Last night some time was taken planning good caches to collect. This is one of the great accessible, well maintained, found recently urban caches.
Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache so I can achieve my great plan. I apologise for the generic log but I need to log quickly so I can count down.

Out during school hours for a caching adventure between Palmwoods and Nambour, picking up some hitherto unfound caches.
A pitstop was made here to check out the big welcome sign, which if it weren't for the cache we would have blasted past.

This find makes smilie # 5,673. TFTC **Wesso Family**, discover our TB

I've been meaning to look for this one for years and I finally got the chance to stop by today. Great old rest stop, thanks for the cache here Wesso Family.
We have set up camp at the Dunethin Rock Scout Camp.
Todays trip was to Yandina, Nambour, Palmwood & return
Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.

This was not quite where it was expected to be, but looking at it the right way soon showed where it was hiding. Cache found, log signed, all then replaced. Job done!
Nice to have a safe parking place while we were doing this one. Many thanks to wesso family for placing and maintaining this cache.

Sunday. The SPs were up this way with a specific cache in mind. This one was not it but was nabbed on the way! We realised we had driven past this cache previously, and on quite the number of occasions. Can't leave a Wesso cache unfound forever! Luke had made this find quick quickly whilst I was seated looking elsewhere.
This was the 2nd of 3 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Wesso Family***, for showing us this place.

Out with Lisylou mnance101 and jemilucy for a weekend at maroochy this may need checking
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Maroochydore, the plan was to head out to do a full day caching. Well we got back just after 4.30pm with 30+ and in time for happy hour to catch up with El Peregrinos.

Quick smiley on this cache with my awesome geopartner WallabyTim while he was helping the CO with some cache maintenance. Get well soon Wesso - geocaching misses you!!!
Third time here and thankfully I walked away with the prize [^], although it took about 20 minutes of searching before I spotted the little turkey. It was doing its dead-level best not to be found. I finally looked at just the right angle and saw it . Thanks to WallabyTim, from one Wallaby to another for fixing this one up. Maybe is was there before and I just overlooked it. Thanks for the hide Wesso Family.
Found it while replacing cache for Wesso Family with my amazing geo-partner KaleidoscopeCass..
Will CO please check on this cache? Strength in numbers suggests that the cache may not me here or needs attention.
This is the first cache we tried to look for on a 3 day weekend up on the Sunshine Coast. The weather was showery and muggle cars going past. Looked without success. Next visit will try to find.
I looked all over and then over two or three more times with no prize. Guess this one is not meant for me .
An early start this morning to try to pick up a few Nambour-Yandina caches before it got too hot. This took a bit longer than it should have but a find in the end. TFTC Wesso’s.

with the great Rhobocacher, we were on the way back from her hosipital visit, we decided to grab the cache for the day, tftc
Out and about again with wheelie22 and as I had a hospital visit this morning we had decided to get one near the hospital, so this was it. When we got out of the car we were greeted by some cute lil cache guardians, two chickens one red/brown and one black/blue. I asked them where is it lead me to the cache even though I had a good idea where it would be, and they did. I wonder if anyone else has come across two such lovely caring cache guardians So as we were signing they were chatting away to us and digging and what I can only assume trying to find food. This is the 3rd time I have come accross chickens while caching. TFTC
Now, I don't know how, what, or why this cache has taken so long for me to find... I would have driven right past it HUNDREDS of times!?!?
Today I had to head up to Nambour General and on the way home I thought that I might grab a quick morning tea. We all know how unsafe it is to drive and eat, so I thought it best to pull over and enjoy my snack in a safe location.
So, the area around ground zero looked like quite a great (and safe) place to stop for a few minutes and have a break. I was also very happy to see that the area was Muggle free!!! (Except for all of the traffic zooming by!)
And with my snack in hand, I started the hunt for this cache. There was one area that just stood out like a sore thumb, so I thought it best to start there. After a little poking around, the cache soon quickly revealed itself. With cache in hand, I went to a more comfortable spot and completed the signing ceremony.
Thanks for yet another cache Wesso Family. This cache is in good order.
