Have looked for this several times without success, even looking under things and on top of things and disturbing stranded possums hiding from the day. Applied strength to efforts today and sun shone on efforts today despite Muggles everywhere! Success!
Nearly muggled!
Cache had fallen to object below hole- long arms were useful. Spoiler alert-

Finally we found it. Many month ago I tried really hard to find this one. No success, but yesterday I was there again and my friend found it. It was his first cache ever and he found this one - not possible for me also.

Found it, then almost lost it as it fell further down. Luckily I had a flexible child with long reach who was able to retrieve it.
NOTE: Spoilers follow
This is cleverly placed but in the spot where we found it, it's easy for it to fall down below.
Luckily case the metal plate is not fixed down and can be carefully lifted (but heavy).
In our case it had fallen about 2ft down and landed on the structure below.

Quick find tody, thanks to previous logs, or this May have taken some time, rhanks
Last visit with au.fait, it was market weekend with a 15minute car park - not successful.
Today a 30 minute car park and no-one around made it easy to search.
After carefully reading past logs, the sneaky little hide showed itself, and we were able to sign the log with plenty of time to spare.
A great challenge and favourite point, thanks MysteriousMrX

Last time I attempted this it was muggle central but today was MUCH quieter and after a little looking and a little thought the cache was finally found in a very sneaky place TFTC Mysterious MrX
A very difficult find today when the gps just wouldn't play nice. Super sneaky hide, tftc!

Great area for a cache with super views. Tricky hide though and glad I didn't have to search underneath with so many muggles passing by today. TFTC.
It was our first cache and we loved it! it was very tricky but the view was amazing
Great hide, very cool... We got married in this spot, never would have suspected our photos were taken on top of a cache!
Tricky spot. Found with CacherInTheRye and MCEmC. Cacher got married here and I was best man. Tftc. #wheeling&dealing
It was cool and fresh early this morning. After a little looking I was pleased to be able to snaffle this little fellow.
The view from here is lovely, and it is great to visit spots like this that are so close to the city.
Thanks for the cache.

just when you think you are getting the hang of it you get stumped. we will be back
Didn't get the hint that well Other peoples messages was confusing . for other people who want to do it it's hard
This one had been a bit of a nemesis for me, but as I rode past here tonight and was able to search by torchlight I finally came up trumps.
This is a great location and well worthy of a cache. Many thanks MysteriousMrX.
P.S. I think the log needs replacing.

Skilful hide requiring skilful retrieval. I carefully considered all the meanings that could be derived from the official clue, but it didn't get me there. My advice: read as many logs as you can to find the posts where people leave punny hints. TFTC!
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au as one of many today. Lochb spotted this after a long search both up and down. Thanks MysteriousMrX

A tricky cache, not just because of the muggles who always seem to hover where you want to look... It took us quite some time of searching both high and low before lochb spotted it - only a metre or so from one of the many places I'd previously checked... So we were able to return to GJMMelb's car and escape before the parking fees kicked in! TFTC
P.S. - as lochb mentioned the logbook has become waxed by the former candle in the cache, so a pencil (or perhaps a permanent marker) will work a lot better than a pen

This cache took us way too long to find ... although it was clearly visible, if you knew where to look. And there is definitely no need to enter the bike path. Found in the end when I spotted it, in the company of GJMMelb and quiet1_au. Someone had left a candle in the container, which has melted (probably in the 40+ degrees we had earlier this year) and the log book is now covered in wax, making it difficult to write with a normal pen. TFTC
After searching for a long time with MrShifty and 3Spec, the cahce finally revealed itself. Very well hiden TFTC
Picked up our geo-grandkid from ELC and checked the phone for nearby caches and there it was. A very sneaky hide indeed but a high muggle activity area. Thanks to MysteriousMrX for the cache and for bringing me here to this great location.
Have been here a few times, but for whatever reason I'd never looked for caches in the area. Well after a pleasant lunch at LaA, I took a first timer to their first cache. Another one hooked. Nicely placed in a tranquil spot. Cheers!
Find 1072 at 13:53. I was out caching with 2poons today and we were aiming for caches around Abbotsford and Yarra Bend Park. All up we found 8 today and this was our first find for the day.
The hint was helful to narrow this one down but it still took a little while to locate. I happened to spot it from just the right angle and so after waiting for a gap in the muggles, it was a straightforward grab after that. Thanks for the cache, MysteriousMrX!

10/03/2014 1:13 pm Find #3190 We visited the farm this morning with a plan to take the youngest out to check out lots of animals and to have to have lunch. When I parked the car I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a cache here too so I decided to go look for it on our way back to the car. My GPSr had me a few metres out but I figured it was likely hidden in a certain way and it was. Thanks MysteriousMrX.
Found this one tonight. It took a while to locate this one even though I was in the right place. After signing log I returned to car to discover that I had left my keys in the car so I was glad to get the RACV to help!
Thanks for the cache MysteriousMrX.

Spent the day checking a long multi, well watching someone else do it!
Grabbed a couple of caches on the way (just to keep my hand in!)
I had looked for this one before without success, so I doubted that on such a busy day, we would be any more successful.
Wrongly as it turned out. We had misinterpreted the clue last time and were looking a bit further away than we should have.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 5751. Spending a glorious Melbourne Sunday riding the Capital City Trail with Robmc. I have never visited this place before and have only spotted glimpses of the Convent from afar. I think most of Melbourne were here enjoying the sunshine. Will definitely come back another day for a better look (preferably on a week day). Finally spotted the cache and added our names to the sheet. Then disaster struck. I didn't put it back the correct way so heard it crash down below. Thought that was the end of it but luckily it could be retrieved and returned correctly to its nifty hiding spot. Loved all the metal engravings and dogs that line the old walkway and the peppercorn trees. TFTC
it took a while to found it with my Bowen italian housemate n friends. Had a lovely lunch at lentil as anything. Way to full so decided go geocaching. so happy to let my new friend also from italy know this awesome game. we think a lot of the hint. would say that the description is more helpful of the hint. tricky. TFTC
We done it! Alex and Seamus found it after delish dinner at lentil as anything. Good hiding spot, dangerous looking from the bike path is not worth it.
Took a bit of searching but having correctly interpreted the clue it was just a matter of carefully looking for possible spots before the hide revealed itself at 3:05pm. Nicely done.
thanks MysteriousMrX

Tricky. Very tricky. We were lucky enough to be here when no one was around. Would imagine that this one would be hard to retrieve when lots of muggles are around. Searched for a while but then kept thinking of the hint and past logs and had an "aha" moment. This is a favourite now. TFTC
wow what a find by atraversiamo!!! Terrific hide we had place to ourselves late tonight just as we'll with all the antics we got up to looking for this one. Almost stumbled upon it by accident. TFTc. Fav from me
We returned armed with new information after phoning a friend.
I have to say we were searching in the wrong area as we thought it was over the bike path!
Bzzzt...wrong.
Put our fingers on it within seconds of our arrival.
And yes, once again, it was dark and the bats had begun to fly over.
Mind you we had the place all to ourselves.
TFTC

Chewin was down from his country residence so we did a bit of urban caching - driving around very narrow streets and struggling to find parking.... You know the thing
We looked for this one for a while, but no luck today.
Thanks, Robmc.

10 of us neither tripped over or stumbled onto the cache.
Mind you it was dark and the bats were flying overhead being bufferted by the gusts of wind.
The only thing missing was mysterious pipe organ music and a full moon.
Obviously we must return in daylight to continue the search!
We shall return.

Definitely a tricky hide!!! Found it eventually and then had a bit of an "accident" putting it back which required an interesting retrieval )))) Thank goodness there weren't many people around today! This is a great area to explore.
Great stroll along Yarra River. Coffee at the Convent and found tricky cache with muggle husband's help near The Farm. Beautiful day. Hope Lily said yes after seeing the marriage proposal in the sky.
On a day of work and having dropped the son at work, I thought a little caching in this area was called for. Just done a couple nearby, parked the car nice a close. Good timing for me so I could take my time and give it a good look.
Went up and down. Stood on the fence and looked under and still no joy. For such a low rating this one seems a little tough. Gave up after 3/4 hour.
Thanks MysteriousMrX

Found 20:10, after a brief sear. We did have to play our "Phone-A-Friend" card on this one [B)]
TNLN, thanks to the MysteriousMrX.

A fantastic location for a cache but unfortunately I couldn't find it tonight when I stopped here on my ride home - even when I had the benefit of a previous finder on the phone. Maybe next time - thanks MysteriousMrX.
Quick find. Tftc

On Cup Day I searched for 30 min in the sun. Nobody was there and I read the hint and old comments, but I couldn't find the the cache. Is it still there?
High muggle factor prevented us from having a good poke around. We'll be back another time.
Great fun finding it with my friends, felt good when we finally found where it was
On what looked like a wet and cold night, Rebel Acts and I headed to some inner Melbourne caches that had popped up recently. While the rain did come, it didn't last and we had a great night out, in mild weather. Had a bit of a search, and the cache emerged. Thanks.
Found with Trailrunning, on what had been a rather wet and cold day, lucky for us it fined up enough to cache with out getting soaked, we did a few caches around the suburbs and inner city and a trip out to Eltham to have a second go at one we did not find on a previous visit. tricky hide, I like it. Thanks MysteriousMrX for the cache.
Seeing as I ride within about 3 metres of this one twice a day I thought I'd better actually stop and find it. I'd checked it out a couple of weeks back but the place was swarming with muggles so I didn't hang around. Nice and sunny and quiet this morning so I hunted about and eventually spotted it.
Nice hide. TFTC!

A quick lunchtime trip out of the office bought us to this area. We have often strolled through here on a casual walk, but this time I was on a mission.
Luckily it was not too busy and so I had the time to hunt for this well hidden cache - about 3m from where the GPS indicated.

After a rainy couple of days, Alansee and I met at one of the excellent cafes at the Abbotsford Convent. Fortified by a cup of something hot and a nice sweet treat, we wandered over to this fabulous spot to hunt for the cache.
Between the overhanging trees causing the gpsr reading to wander and the steady procession of muggles, it took quite a few minutes until we - literally - stumbled on to gz.
Terrific hide in a really nice spot.
Thanks for the cache, MysteriousMrX. Loved it.

After a nice coffee at the Convent Listmaker and I wandered over to this one. We knew we had the elevation right but the cache refused to appear until we checked the last (for us) of a number of likely hiding spots.
We actually managed to find and retrieve this fairly discreetly on a farmer's market day! After a bit of searching high and low geo-kid & I spotted it, but had to change locations to do the actual retrieval. Singed log and swapped the 'roach for an Indian coin. The replacement took a little while due to sauntering muggles but got away cleanly in the end! TFTC.
First of a couple after the post-sport drop-off this morning. It took a few minutes to hone in on the find but thankfully with very few muggles about, who were below me anyway , persistence finally paid off at 06:20.
This was tough enough at this time of the day so I reckon it'd be nigh on impossible on the weekend during 'normal' hours.
TNLNSL, although our night cache geocion just squeaked in for a visit. Thanks MysteriousMrX.

The two main benefits of early morning caching are lack of muggles and the availability of plenty of free parking. Both were a definite help with this cache this morning. Parked nearby and with only a few muggles on the bike path below I was able to search in peace. Lucky because it took a while to finally come up with the cache. Day 20/31 down.
Thanks MysteriousMrX for the cache.

Came here today with Mrs Iamapom, Woody the Geo-dog, my father-in-law one-eyed and my mother-in-law Mrs one-eyed. Was trying to get day 10 of the 31 Day August Challenge... so was keep to make the find. Very busy today as it was the Farmer's Market thingo. Mrs Iamapom had never been around here, but I knew it well for Geocaching and walks from my old place in Richmond.
Anyway, we couldn't find it. Looked from up, looked from down, clambered up the side. Mmmmm many hidey holes here, but we couldn't find it. But Woody was holding court with the passing parade.
Another time.

A day off work today, so too good an opportunity to not go looking for this one when it came online so close to home. Nice little hide. Was lucky to have a break in the muggles to be able to retrieve it at 10:43am TFTC
