This cache has always been at the wrong time. The park itself is great and will have to bring the geo kids for a play but every time I have been past here it is normally dark or the playground is packed. Today there was not a person in sight. After some counting and calculations I had some coords. Once at gz it did not seem to suit. A check on the hint but still could not see anything that suited. Oh well time to search. Eventually I found it and soon had the cache signed.
Thanks GRU88Y for the cache.

In Melbourne for the weekend with one main nightcache as our ultimate aim plus also any other interesting caches that took our fancy along the way. Focusing on multi’s and Letterboxes mainly we had a ball as we worked out the clues and got the satisfaction of finding many caches in the company of beckNmonts.
After dropping off the other Triton to try his luck at surviving the Zombie Apocalypse Bec and I wandered around Pakenham grabbing other less spooky caches!
Lucky beckNmonts could confirm my counting today so we agreed upon the numbers needed for GZ.
Thanks Grubby7298 for the multi.

This was certainly lucky for me today. How many times does it take to count poles? A lot if you are distracted! After a few attempts I had a plausible GZ and went to see if I could make a find. Soon I had the cache! Thanks for relocating it kangas! TFTC GRU88Y
Puzzles solved done. During the puzzle to sort i saw a cache was dumped near the poles area and after i done the puzzle, i return the cache back on GZ. Hopefully it stays safe. I texted Grubby to tell the news. Found it. Thanks Grubby7298 for the cache
Finally another small amount of breathing space in what has been an extremely busy year so what better to relieve the stress than a few caches.
I would not be hopeful for this one, decoded the clues and finished up with a good set of numbers but nothing to be found here for some time...
**Thanks for placing this cache GRU88Y**

Muggle daughter plays soccer near here, so geodaughter and I had done the calculations during a previous training session, so today we came to find the cache. Sadly we came away empty handed. I'm not sure if we've lost our mojo as we haven't been able to do much geocaching lately, or whether we were not in the right frame of mind, after having a big argument with muggle daughter just before. We'll try again soon, TFTC
Out and about on a Sunday caching session and we visited this cache among what we did in a very hot Pakenham.
Thanks GRU88Y for this cache placement.

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today with mcsee&petal. We dropped of a TB while we were there. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Saw this one a month ago and didn't have time to collect the clues. Today I was bored. TFTC
The gloomy weather meant that the playground was completely deserted. That worked well as it meant I could make an attempt at this cache. The numbers all worked out apart from one minor detail that I didn't spot. It didn't matter though and I was soon at my calculated GZ and adding my name to the log. It definitely is an interesting piece of artwork.
Thanks to Grubby7298 for placing this cache.

Worked out that I need to teach my kids an easier way to count. But found easily on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
Came for a bike down to this familiar park, having seen it most mornings for the past few weeks.
Started raining just as I arrived but not too hard. The numbers were correctly attained and the cache was found in good condition. I have placed a TB inside and rehidden the cache a bit better as it was quite visible.
Thanks GRU88Y, nice multicache here.

The curious Knights took the curious dog for a walk on this wonderful sunny day. One quick recount to correct the figures and we found it quite quickly.
Was unfamiliar with this neighbourhood, but decided to stop for this multi on the map. Maybe it was the title that did it for me! I found myself double-checking the poles and playground numbers after an early miscalculation. It was the latter that I hadn't examined sufficiently thoroughly; as always I'd tried to minimise time within the playground, but that certainly didn't pay off this time. Cache was found fairly quickly pretty much where the corrected coords suggested. With a dog+walker suddenly materialising I retreated briefly, signing the log on a second pass and applying a bit more camouflage than it had had when I spied it. Thanks GRU88Y!

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!
On Sunday, I was chasing multi-caches and mysteries for the 31 challenge. I decided to head back to the area in which I had a heap of solved mysteries due to the recent mega event, to try my hand at ensuring I had the challenge complete. Thanks for the cache GRUBBY.

What an interesting pack tucked away in the new houses in Pakenham. We though counting the poles would mean a couple, but couldn't believe how many. The park was a great place for the kids to run around and have a bit of fun. I also love it when hints don't make sense until you find it and then the ah ha moment happens.

Caching as part of Team BAMBI, Bushfire, Aussie M & M, mogni, and brisal5 (incognito) over the Mega Weekend. Unfortunately I had a close relative pass away on the 11/11/15 and stopped logging caches. Now I am attempting to get back into caching properly. I do apologise for the lateness of this log.
We were trying to finish the C.F. and P.I.G. series today and picking up other caches on the way.
We love to do a multi and grabbed this one as it was on the way. Thanks GRU88Y.

Your cache was found by Team BAMBI (Bushfire, Aussie M&M, mogni and brisal5 incognito) as part of the Melbourne Mega Event weekend. BAMBI to save space in the logs. Like the Melbourne event, this weekend was planned for months prior with more puzzles solved than we could possibly find the caches for in just 3 days. We thank all the C/Os and Event committee for making this a wonderful weekend for us. [^]
Day 2 at the event. Our target today to try and finish the C.F. caches and P.I.G. series and any other we just happen to be passing.
It always confuses me we the number of cachers that just drive by multis just because they are multis. Lucky my friends are not like that and we quite often have multi days where we drive from multi to multi and only stop at a trad if it happens to be on the way. Rant Over. Obviously we stopped and found your cache.
Thanks GRU88Y for taking the time to set up a multi cache

Found with BAMBI while visiting Melbourne for the Mega event. One of many, many caches found over the weekend.
Thank you
Thank you
Leaving Geelong on my way to Carrum Downs to our cabin which was to be home for the next four days. Later that evening I was joined by three mates from SA (brisal5, moggi and Aussie M & M) and it was decided that we would cache under the name of “BAMBI” for the weekend to save space in all the log books plus it would be quicker. Our combined resources were very helpful enabling us to find some very fine caches.
I apologise for the generic log but with so many caches found I will say a great big thank to all the CO’s who placed these caches for us to find. This time next year I will be getting these logs as I have a number of caches in the Anglesea area. Today we are in this area finding as many PIGS and others that we can.
Finally a word of thanks to the Melbourne Mega Committee people who did a great job in organising a great event.

Had great fun in the playground! Fun collecting all the info. Once we calculated a short search found the cache. Re placed and made sure the camo was replaced. Thanks! swapped car for candle.
First time calculations got a little off track. Second times a charm. Found, signed and swapped a blue glass drop for the Smokies red lego block.

Found with Tones71, HanRS, Lachie and Emily. Beautiful sunny day ripe for introducing new cachers to the game. A nice empty park made clue collection simple and a quick find was some made.
Apologies for the very late online log!
Apologies for the very late online log!
The day was getting on when I got t this one but fortunately I got the relevant information without much drama. At GZ the cache was a very quick find as it was not hidden! It is now but should be easily found by a cacher.
Got all the numbers but with no gps I thought I would have a crack at finding this one. Looked around where I thought it might be but no cigar. Attempt again when we get a gps. Going for 100 finds without it, up to 88 now. Kids loved this playground.
It was almost dark by the tine I got to this multi after doing a couple of others nearby. I did the counting and the maths and came up with a plausible Gz. Being late there was no-one around although I was was a bit concerned at people over the road seeing the torch. The hide took a while to find but the co-ords were good. Thanks Grubby7298

Found before attending the CITO nearby. I had 1 wrong answer which when I fixed it.gave me a plausible final location. I still took a while to find it after discovering a large sleeping lizard which freaked me out. Tftc
Some fast maths as I worked the array of poles then a quick calculation or 2 to come up with GZ and we were away. Cache quickly found by the Chief, log signed and rehidden. Cache smells pretty as someone has left some candles inside although I fear these may eventually make a mess in the cache or the smell will attract vermin. Thanks for bringing us here.
Grabbed this on my way to Berwick to babysit the grandkids dogs. Thanks Grubby7298 FTC.

Catching up on some very late logs
Recovering from back surgery I can only lay down or walk, max 15 minutes sitting or standing Micaparamedic was kindly visiting to relieve my boredom so a few caches around Pakenham were within the range and also a bit of a walk in a different area.
We have not been since it was a dirt road before the freeway was built so we really noticed a difference when we realised where we were.
We shuddered when we read what we had to do to start but with 3 pairs of eyes it worked out easier than we thought. We were happy the playground was empty as we would have felt a bit strange collecting FG, H, and JK.
We then headed off to the nearby seat to do the math's before following the GPSr to GZ.
It took a few minutes of searching before we got the cache in hand and our names have been added to the log.
Thanks Grubby7298 for the cache and showing us the changes here.

Out walking with Team Crackers again, Spook's recovery seems to be going well as he is able to walk a little further each day. Also finding a cache now and then rather than just walking adds to the experience for him. The caches we have found today although small in number have proven challenging enough to make the process enjoyable.
Many thanks Grubby7298 for placing this cache .

Went back to this location today looking for a lost pen and noticed the camouflage for the cache has been removed so the cache is quite exposed. I looked around but could not find the camouflage to replace it.
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch and WeRAmused. Nice easy multi, WeRAmused had collected most of the required information previously, we just had to recheck a few figures. Plugged in the resulting co-ordinates and made the short walk to GZ where the cache was spotted by torchlight. Did this at night when it was quiet, probably would be impossible in daylight as apparently it can be very busy here. TFTC
Found on a marathon day with ScifiRulz and the Grouch. I collected the info for this one last week but I couldn't check one of the numbers properly because some kids were playing on it. It was nice to have the place empty for a change because it seems to be a favorite park for the locals. ScifiRulz was impressed with the doggie drinking fountain too. TFTC
What a fantastic playground, I'm so disappointed the geotoddler wasn't with me today! I was a little worried about counting the poles in the sculpture but in the end, it was quite easy if you know your times tables. I'll be awarding a favourite point for the genius hint, TFTC Grubby7298!
Saw this cache on the map after finding another close by.. Arrived at GZ wandered around getting all the answers while taking in the serenity.. Sat in the car to work out the final co-ords, then set off on a short walk to the waypoint...
Nice easy multi to fill in the day :)
Thanks GRUBBY :)

A good one to do this sunny afternoon, the children played and so did I thanks for going to the effort to write the puzzle we left a photo of some of the nice things we saw inclusive of a dead worm that Geoson though was cool TFTC we left a peg TB's logged for the visit

Found @ 1:48am, find # 3174.
Out on another caching run with biggles1024, tonight we were off to a very slow start after spending a lot of time somewhere else. We decided to head East to try and get some finds.
We had thought about this one a bit earlier on, but after reading the description there seamed to be a lot of counting involved and after the night we have had, it didn't seam like a good idea.
On the return run back to home, this one reared it's ugly head once again so this time we decided to have a drive by to see what was involved. We arrived at the start and with a quick look around, it didn't seam to be that bad after all, so off we went counting along the way until we had all the info we needed, with some quick calculations we were now headed for GZ, where once we arrived, it wasn't long before the log was being signed.

Find #1111
Out for a night of caching with Stemicmitsar. We headed east for a change. Our initial reaction on reading the cache page was one of "no thanks, not tonight". We'd had enough of multis but towards the end of the night, we decided to drive past just to see what we had to count. We were pleasantly surprised and set about counting and otherwise obtaining the necessary information before putting it all together and coming up with the co-ords for GZ where a quick find was made.

Found while out on a walk with the family. Great clues. Caution to those who are arachnophobic, a spider had laid an egg sac on the cache, the sac was clear when I found it so I cleaned the webbing off, so just be cautious if you are arachnophobic...your screams may alert muggles. TFTC.
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of mainland Australia.
Today we explored Pakenham and surrounds using geocaching as our guide.
Our first find for the day and with Geovan in tow it was good to find plenty of parking nearby. After working out the required information the cache was soon in hand. TFTC

This one has been bothering me for a while that I hadn't found it as we live only on few streets away! After coming here on many occasions to collect data and search for it I finally found it. With the help of geohubby we had the correct coordinates and cache was quickly found. The cache was nice and dry too!

We found this cache today at 3:35pm as the 4th of 6 on our Fathers Day Caching Expedition in company of Squiptar. Probably the most original playground that we have seen in a while. The multi worked to a tee as well. Our 998th multi on our hunt for 1,000 multi-caches. Thanks from D, HA, S, H & A B-A.
2nd find for me today with Rabbitto and family. Fun multi, solved without too much hassle and good teamwork. Loyalties tested when K found the cache first- decisions- does husband get first signing or Dad? Guess she's team Squiptar now, even on fathers day.
I headed out today with my youngest boy Cooper and we had a great few hours of caching and playing in playgrounds. Our first find for the day after two DNF's and we had fun collecting all the information before sitting down to do the calculations to get the coords for GZ. Once that was done it was a short walk to GZ and I let Coops find the cache. A nice park too. Thanks.
out with Lozgur.
not 1 of our finer moments as far as geo-caching is concerned, could not find the cache. the co-ords are easy enough to work out (that is if we got them right), and the clue speaks for itself (that is if we interoperated it correctly), in all that is logic and good we should have found it...........oh well better luck next time.

Visiting with geo daughter for the day with geo friend. This cache was near where we had been. Worked out most of the clues, but made a meal out of the numbers in the playground, followed all the numbers and finally realized where the last one would be. Worked out co-ordinates and made our way to GZ. Nice easy find, and the clue made sense.

After being told of this cache being published yesterday I was too busy with work to even think of a run for FTF. I had a look this morning and with no logs and conferring with a fellow cacher that he didn't do it on the way into Melbourne, I decided it would be worth the 15 minutes sidetrack for the possibility of FTF.
I parked the GeoRanger nearby and quickly worked out the final co ords, I then walked to GZ and soon made the discovery of the cache. Bonus a blank log book FTF!!!! Added the date and our moniker to the log book and replaced. Heading back to the car read the hint and loved the reference.
Thanks for the cache Grubby7298!
