QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day fourteen and wow, the last day of the trip. We did a bit more caching in Moree before heading south. All the way home in one day with only a bit of caching along the way. Thanks.

A short stop for a bit of tucker on the way past and a cache to find.
Found the cache away a bit from the coords but with the help of the hint it narrowed down Gz considerably.
TFTC, Cheers

On our way to Qld Mega and the kids were keen for a cache and play so decided to pull over for a stretch and a bite to eat here.
Coords had us wandering a bit away from GZ, but managed to locate it easily with the useful hint.
The kids enjoy hunting some little lizards whilst here too.
Many thanks for the cache. TNLN SL. Cheers

My girlfriend had to pick up a food van trailer from Arana Hills in Queensland. 8 day road trip from Perth-Brisbane-Perth and it is a great opportunity to pick a few geo cache on the way there and back. We had a great trip and most caches were easily found...TFTC
Had a quick look, but with muggles about it was not the right time for searching. Another time perhaps?
we had a good look but just could not find it will try again later on our way back home.
Heading south today on the highway we took the opportunity to grab this cache.
We nearly drove off and gave up but had one more look and came up with the goods!

Did not take long to find this well hidden cache. Just back in geomobile when along came 2 muggles with their 4 boys to enjoy the area!

Found this cache at 3:35pm while on our way north along the Newell Highway and then into Qld for a few days.
GPS had us looking considerable distance from the actual hide.
Thanks bigbila for the hide.

Ah ha! Would have been wonderful to find this one with a child, my nephew certainly would have looked there before I did! TFTC
Had nice couple hrs playing at park with granddaughter had had the best hot chips.
Nearly walked away from this one as the GPS had me very near a single piece of play equipment and it was not there. From here I made a wider search and came up empty.
Went back to the car and then had another glance at the playground and realised that I had missed one place, went back and there it was.
I feel that the owners need to check the co-ords on this one, I did take a reading but accidently deleted it from the GPS before I recorded this log.
I found that on approach to the playground I needed to be more to the right then where the co-ords said I should be.

I looked forwarding to stopping for a break and finding this cache during a long day and night driving to Qld. Searching for this cache in the dark was a bit of a problem as the clue did not really match up to ground zero in the middle of the lawn. I widened the search and checked every thing to the consternation of a dog in the pub before eventually finding the cache. I had to think about where I would hide the cache though before striking it lucky. The play park must be a welcome break to families traveling along the highway because there is not much to break the tedium....unless you are a geocacher. Thanks for the cache.
my GPS had me standing in the middle of a grassed area, but a quick look around soon had the cache - TFTC
Today I start to long drive to OZ MEGA at Murray Bridge.
By the time I got here I had been driving for several hours so needed a stop.
Time for a lunch stop ... and a cache.
Thanks for the cache.

This was a nice quick find, didn't even turn the car off. We did have an idea as we planted one exactly in the same location. Tftc
Hmmm. Two attempts, two dnf's. Either both my GPS's are off or I'm confused by the clue... Any other hints?
On our way home from Narrabri to the Gold Coast & found this one after a few minutes nice start to our trip
Went for a quick look for this one but could not find. If cache is where my GPS took me, the hint was really throwing me off... Perhaps another time
On our way home from dubbo to bundaberg thought we would do a few caches on the way. Thanks for the cache (:
Found on what seems like is becoming a regular road trip between Gold Coast and Tocumwal. We headed South to visit family for Christmas, being my Daughter and her new Daughter (my Grand Daughter) Sienna. The trip was done over two days, staying overnight in Coonabarabran. Six kids and two cars, visited and found 19 caches on the way down. Some very hot weather on the second day, with the thermometer topping 43°C about midway through the second day, hot weather for caching. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.

Cache maintence planned for Saturday 14th December 2014. Temporarily disabling listing.
Would love this to be checked!
As I looked hard for ages. If it's been checked in 2 days time will look again on way home.

Easy find early in the morning. No muggles around in this nice little park today. TFTC bigibila.
Went for a drive to do some maintenance on a cache of ours near Bellata and thought we would duck down and grab this one quickly. A really cool hide and geotoddler had a great time playing while we signed the log book. Added a couple of little swaps but took nothing. TFTC Bigibila

A great little rest stop that we somehow almost missed seeing and an easy cache to grab with no one around. Beautiful scenery in this area, maybe that's explains overlooking the rest stop. TFTC bigibila.
