Coming from a handy drive by, I parked at the kids playground and made the short journey to GZ. I was fairly certain I was at the right tree but after several laps of the tree I couldnt see the cache. Made a few more circuits before I stood in the right place to see the container.
I am not light, agile or young but I figured I could make the climb. I do own a 2.5m telescopic ladder which would have made short work of this cache but I didnt have it with me. Reached the cache, opened it and dropped the log. Down I went, signed the log and went back up again. Down went the log as I dropped it while replacing it in the container and down I went again after it.
Up I went for the third time, climbing a little higher to make the return that much easier. The branch I was now on didnt like this decision and voiced its protests while I hurriedly replaced the container and returned to more solid footing.
