Logs
Back on holidays chasing the sun, travelling around and collecting a few caches on our way. Found your cache easily and it was in good condition. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of holiday.
Checked yesterday (19.07.23) and and 3/4's of the roof has been re-sheeted.
No one there to check with but depending on the weather can't be far off.

The cache has been temporarily disabled whilst roof repairs to the building are carried out. The church was damaged during cyclone Seroja.
Just about to give up and log our first DNF for the day but I spied it just in the nick of time. TFTC
It always pays to take the road less traveled!
24 years of driving up and down between Exmouth and Perth and have only ever taken the S bend road.
So much history in Greenough to be seen. Thank you for bringing us here.

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Found the easily and even had a new log to sign.
Thanks Squash2 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

I really enjoy the old churches scattered around our state. Thanks for bringing me to this one Squash2
Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Cheers Squash2!
Cheers Squash2!
Log nearly full. Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south slowly heading north on our way home to Cairns. Did your Wesley Church today. 27 February 2022 11:33 am Tyfc Squash2 total caches now 4338 .
There was road grading work going on around here but the location of GZ meant I could wander around the wonderful old building and locate the cache without any muggle problems. On my wander I noticed that a section of window was open so went back to the car for a torch and shone it around - looking pretty derelict inside I have to say. Such a shame. Cache was a very fast find as not many options to choose from No problems here - TFTC
Nice quick find here. Two of my grandsons go to Wesley College in Perth so I enjoyed this beautiful old church which had me wondering if they were named by or after the same person.

A wonderful start to the day, out at Grenough, exploring the Historical Settlement from the Early Settlers.

Another Church with an interesting history. The nearby gun club members were busy, having a shoot off, but I think I signed the log muggle free. TFTC
Hi there Squash2. While out on the road today we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Squash2 for this cache - our find 7997
I thought people were singing in the church but it was only pigeons cooing. TFTC Squash2
A nice quick find on our way to Geraldton. No pencil so couldn’t sign the log sorry tftc
On a 6 day trip up north to visit family in Carnarvon, and maybe exmouth, with my lovely girlfriend HR2990, picking up as many caches as possible, Thanks to everyone for hiding these caches for us to find.
A quorum of the Fott was here so we are retrospectively claiming the find. If that's an issue let us know.
IGD in Geraldton again with Barnzy12 in the passenger seat. We headed up late on Friday night with a “clean up” of remaining caches planned for the main day. Knowing from some posts that new caches would also be getting published today we knew we would be up for a bid day with the typical race. Our rest time was the event in the middle of the day. And a few hours in a basic motel. Sunday would also see a long day with minimal caches yet many KM travelled to find them! Thanks to all the CO’s for placing hides to be found.
On a road trip for the day with AlliedOz & SVKR_WA to attend the IGD event in Greenough. An early start with the jibes becoming more personal as the day wore on. The event done and dusted it was time we meandered our way back to the big smoke picking up the odd smiley here and there of course.
Quick find here once at GZ, love some of these old buildings.
Squash2 I found your cache at 1:06pm, this was the 24th of 34 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5583. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Out with SVKR_WA and Granett for international geocaching day and a drive up north to make the most of it. Started out early and picked up a cache here and there on the drive towards today's destination event by West Oz Geocaching. The event was great, now back on the road for a few caches before heading home.
Cool old building

Heading home from the event we stopped to grab a few more.
Spotted the little sucker quickly.
Well today is International Geocaching Day for 2019 and Granett, AlliedOz and I hatch a somewhat crazy plan to head to Geraldton for a day trip to attend the event there.
We left a wet and cold Perth at 5 and headed north, stopping for a couple of caches along the way and a bit of maintenance that was needed.
It was a long but fun road trip - lots of banter, great company and it was great to catch up with a pile of people at the event in Greenough.
Squash2 SVKR_WA is happy to have found your cache Wesley Church today at 13:07:29 17 Aug 2019. This brings my find count to 3665

Today we went to Geenough to The Open-air Museum and then to Lucy's Beach. On the Way still visited this Cache. Luckily, no Phyton just came ...
The old girl is full of pidgeons, how do we preserve these beautiful buildings! Tftc
After visiting Jurien Bay we drove further northwards, with Kalbarri NP as our final destination. On the way we have visited the wonderful Pink Lake and several convict settlements. Geraldton was not our favorite today. Today was 10 degrees cooler than it is supposed to be at this time of the year..
Another scenic church in a ghosttown, beware of the harmless pythons!

Found. I like these caches at historic sites as gets me to stop and have a look.
Took a day trip to check out the historical region of Greenough and to get a cache or 2 on the way
Took a short trip to the south east from Geraldton to pick up some caches. A quick Park and Grab. TFTC.
Stopped at this cache whilst on a roadtrip with Eliktrisiti. We didn't find as many caches in the Geraldton area as we had hoped for, and after being home for a week or so, I have decided that the motto I would adopt for these logs would be this: It isn't the destination that is important, it is the journey!
In a nutshell, we had fun and that is what it is all about. Great company, lots of interesting locations, good variety of caches, even got to meet one of the local geocachers while out and about, and of course, we came home with a whole swag of smileys.
This cache was found early on the second day. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Squash2 and for showing us around the Greenough/Geraldton area.

Left at 3.30am from Perth to go to Geraldton for a few days, and stopped along the way to pick up some caches. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few tricky ones that took a bit of searching. Managed to find 45 on the way with only 1 DNF which I think might be missing .Looking forward to finding more tomorrow TFTC
Found on a Jenny sponsored day out to Greenough. with nannajoan 7, great day and a few finds. TNLNSL Thanks.
Driving home from Geraldton, I decided to leave extra early so I could grab some caches on the way.
The sound of pigeons echoing through the church greeted me today and a quick find here.
Really interesting trail. No muggles this morning.

Have decided to go for an exploratory drive from Ellendale Pool into Greenough via Walkaway grabbing as many cache s as i can without upsetting (non-caching) Pa. Luckily he wanted to visit another landmark near here, which also has a cache (ha ha) and he stopped for me to grab this cache. Luckily geo sense was finely tuned at this GZ and it was a quick find,, sign return to hidey hole and dash back to car to continue up the road. TFTC SL
