Road trip! Attending an event out this way this morning, geopup and I caught up with chamad and a turmoil in Gympie and joined forces to collect some caches.A quick find here, log signed, cache replaced as found. Thanks Bindair Dundat for the cache.
I was pretty excited when I heard that an event was going to be held in Cherbourg. The only cache in the LGA and only 5km from my home town. A trip home to see family was on the cards. Until.....my plans changed and I had someone driving a whole 12 hrs from Sydney to see me. But little TT took one for the team and suffered through a whole day of road tipping and caching with Chamad. She tells me she didn't suffer and that she actually enjoyed herself. I think the deal might have been sweetened when they were joined by Willos007 and her pup. I am sad that I didn't get to share the area with my buddies but glad that the area was shared with my little girl anyway. All the way up to Gayndah even. I went to school with Kapernicks. I think my mum did too. I believe I was even taught by one. Big family name up here.
A Saturday morning drive to a special event in a rare LGA, awesome cant miss this one. I had triple turmoil (naya) with me and we meet up with Willis007 in Gympie, before heading to this event. A good size turnout and only time enough to catch up with a few of the teams there. It was then off to hopefully grab a few caches northwards as time was pressing on us today. We had no real plans just to get a couple in Gayndah and a few as we passed by. As always it was a day filled with laughs and jokes. We signed the log on this one and replaced all as found. Thanks for placing this one here. A side trek brought us to here. This one had us looking everywhere, it was a cunning plan that got us to find it. we rescued a couple of green tree frogs that were stuck in the cache. All good with this one and a nice view.
Nice tricky one but we found it. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Enjoyed the view. Thanks Bindair Dundat. All good with this cache.
Had 2 muggles there on the way through, so left it for a couple of hours, mmmm still there. Quick sit at the table, signed log and left tftc

Nearly every cache we found today we signed under Beckster. We never caught them though. This was the first one and we found the log dry and safe in its cheeky hide and thankfully signed the log before replacing all as found. Loved the impressive entry gate to this park.
Cheers and happy caching!

Parked at GZ and found the cache in the second place I looked. Used my trusty SWAK to extract the log. All good here! Nice views.

Up in Killivan for the New Year event. My second one. Had lots of fun last year. And how much have I learned since then.
This year I will be caching with my Geoson as wtdwarrior, Grannysmith1947, hatzofff and can’t forget The Geodog Miss Millie.
Sorry for the generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC Bindair Dundat *389* streak. *2335* Finds

TFTC. We are house sitting in Bundaberg and this week we have the opportunity to take the Motorhome for a short trip away as the owner’s daughter is home fore a week. Decided to head for Goomeri/Kilkivan area for a caching road trip. WE parked at Goomeri Showgrounds for a few nights. Arriving early afternoon decided to head toward Boat Mountain and cache along the way. We attempted 9 trads and an Earthcache. A nice haul and we got back just before dark.
Found in the first place we looked. A bit hazy up here today.

Found while staying in the kilkivan area for about a week before heading for the big smoke down south. Having noticed that there was a lot of new caches placed in the area I set about converting some of them to smileys. This is of of the many I have found so far. All were easy find with no maintenance issues. TFTC
After spending couple of days in Central Queensland with our Caravan, we are now on our way back home. Stopped in Murgon for the night.
Went early in the morning on a caching Tour with spectacular views but freezing cold wind.
Wonderful different cache types and hiding ideas. Thanks a lot!

TFTC. The our geo rug rats had a great time getting access to this one. It didn't take them long though .
Up bright and early today, caffeinated and set off with Brother Colin for the day to find some caches and explore a little of this region.
I found 31 today, north, east, and south of our campsite in Murgon. What a great way to spend the day, listening to Triple J's Hottest 100 in the air conditioning of the car in between finds.
I spotted a green tree snake up high in the shelter here, so BC played tag with it while I searched then he made the find in a place I had looked but obviously not well enough.
Thanks for the cache.

For some time I've been meaning to get back to visit the Burnett region, and today was the day. An early start was made and a long 12.5 hr day was spent driving 650km through Blackbutt, Yarraman, Nanango, Kingaroy, Murgon, and up to Boat Mountain before returning.
This is a beautiful spot, and lucky for me there was noone for miles. My gerber multitool made short work of the opening duties, log is nice and dry. Thanks **Bindair Dundat** for bringing us here, this find makes smilie #3378. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

Found it! Make sure to use your car keys or a pen to leever the lid of. It's a very sneaky hiding spot but was great fun for the kids.
We are heading to Nanango's first event and even though it is not till Saturday we thought we would stop along the way and the get the caches that often get missed followed by the comment we will do that one, one day. Last night and tonight we are staying at the free caravan park at Murgon. No power but toilets and showers are available plus some nice shady trees. So with a bit of driving along the back roads we managed to find some of the caches while others were found closer to town. This was one we targetted and found. Nice hide. Thanks to Bindair Dundat for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
Out and about with one half of The Drovers from the South Burnett to Gympie areas for a couple of days caching. We found a variety of caches and containers along the way and plenty of different hides to keep us on our toes along the way and this was one of them.
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches along the way.

After this weeks DNF, we went up to check if all was OK, and yes, the cache is stiill in its' original little hidey hole. It's a "log-only" cache, but you can find directions to a nearby pen written inside the back page of the log. Cheers from Bindair Dundat and Princess Madelyn.
Out and about with GrannySmith1947 and Millie the Geodog. Started caching at about 9am and had about 13 to do today. This is cache number 8 out of the 13.
After going to the toilet we made our way over to this cache. I was playing with Millie the Geodog while GrannySmith1947 found this one. Signed the log and onto the next one. TFTC Bindair Dundat.

Gotcha !!! A few caches on the way to Stanthorpe for the Mega. TFTC Good to see the Key-line farming practices nearby but didn't recognize the crop.
Visiting Jacks Scrub Conservation Area with Geo hub and muggle sister and her Grumpy old man. After we had done the 900metre walk through the scrub with GOM complaining all the time, we had coffee at the picnic table, while GOM continued to complain.
Arrived at GZ please to see some decent amenities. We (geohub, muggle sister and I) searched GZ for the cache, meanwhile GOM continued to complain. Geohub found this one, and tried to explain to GOM what it was all about - he just complained.
Thanks Bindair Dundat, we enjoyed the early morning walk through the nearby park.
Wombat the Anthus laptop Geocoin visited, as did Runciple's Grasshopper, a tassie trekkers pathtag, a sweet - sour pathtag, a dolphin, a broken heart and geo achievement 500 caches award, oh, and a bundle of keyrings that I have collected since caching in WA in August 2013 (current count is 22)

I am looking after my Dad's place while he is away.
So another day geocaching was in order.
I am continuing slowly moving west and picking off the caches I missed yesterday.
The weather today is a bit crappy with on and off showers so I spent way too long searching in the shelter before looking at the GPSr and reading the description.
Thanks for the cache.
