Found it straight away, but suspect that it wasn't where it was originally placed as it wasn't attached to anything magnetic. Then had a few slides down the slide and a play on the seesaw

Heading to the inlaws for the weekend, so as usually decided to stop for a few caches on the way down. We usually head down the coast but running out of caches out that way so decided to take a road less travelled, and get a few more finds.
Had to pick and choose my finds tonight as only had limited time to cache. Thought this one would be nice and easy, but with the GPS bouncing around it made it a little harder. Gathered it could only be in a few places so decided a systematic search was the best method. Found after a few minutes nicely covered up. No plastic bag on the log, so not sure how long this one will last with the wet weather. Log a tiny bit damp but otherwise all gravy.
Thanks for the hide.

A fairly quick find on a lovely day. Brought back some memories as lived in the area previously.
I forgot to log this find. We were not actually geocaching at the time. We had stopped to let the kids play in the playground and one of our older girls spotted a mushroom so wanted to take photos of the mushroom(naturally). My 6 year old comes running up to me exclaiming she had found the geocache. I said we're not geocaching today it must be rubbish. But i checked it just in case and what do ya know! It is a geocache.
The paper was wet so I wrapped it in some plastic and put it back where my daughter found it and covered with moss. I see others have since found safe and sound so that's good.
Just after this find there was a mini tornado through the area too.

Found log book on ground by pinic table so put it in a elcpise tin and back where we thought it should have been
Found and repaired with rural ninjah but needs to be fixed placed in the trees. Nice spot for the kid to have a break. Tftc
Just had time for one more quick stop & cache as we whizzed through.
Not sure this is where or what it's suppose to be anymore, as we found the log sheet in it's plastic bag only - no container, & a little off where GPS suggested. (WHFG GHPXRQ VA CVPAVP GNOYR). Might need checking on! Logs still dry for now though.

Nice camo used for hiding the cache. Much lighter than I expected. Luckily nobody was about when I was here as I can image it could otherwise be quite difficult. TFTC.

Moving because cache was on private property leased to the Rotorua District Council. New site fixes that problem.

Sent the kids in for this one as it is a play ground and I couldn't keep them in the car really. They couldn't find it so in I go and see that the local kids have been having a lot of fun building huts and bivouacs in this area. Spotted the cache and off we go again.
Alas could not find this, even though the neighbour knew where it was, and his kids also came out to look. Incidentally, the play house is wholly on the neighbours land - the fence line is well within his boundary. The fence is back from the boundary to fence off the drop.
What a great day with many of very nice geocaches on our way. ....also this one.... TFTC
Wow those are stone vicious sounding dogs luckily not too close to cache. One looked liked he could really jump the fence but hopefully he was chained up. Tftc
Out and about on a sunny Queen's Birthday weekend caching weekend. Found after a rummage around while listening to the neighbour's dog barking TFTC.
Enabling again after Murray and Janet's find. I suspect that the camouflage that once existed on this has disappeared. It's all go for now, but I still intend on replacing this hide with something else soon.
Yes, found it! Hehe, we are glad to say we didn't notice it was disabled and went in and found it. This is the second time we have done this..hehe. It was where one would expect, near our feet, not in sight of house next door. So, go ahead and enable it again. Thanks for the cache btw...never knew that area existed.
Called in and checked this cache. I couldn't find the cache and I'm assuming it's gone. What a shame! I thought the camouflage was awesome. Oh well... Will re-think this one and either replace or archive. Watch this space.
Drove by some time ago to do this one but what looked like a family gathering was taking place so we knocked it on the head.Nobody about this morning making for a quick find. Thanks Hemi.
Out today with another team, so joint effort. Found this where it shouldn't be...we think. Right in the middle of a grassy area under the trees. Have returned to where we think it might have been.
Well I couldn't spot it, but Mrs Tparty sure did. She had it in her hand and watched me with interest fossicking in the undergrowth. We decided to bring it over to the picnic tables to avoid being sprung by the kids over the fence. When we got there, Mrs Tparty discovered she no longer had the cache in hand. Haha. Back she went retracing her steps. Thankfully it was found, signed and replaced. TFTC

Took a bit of finding this one! Missed it completely first time round, but eagle-eyed kids spotted it in the end. Lots of sneaking required!!
Collected this one while out enjoying an afternoon caching in the region. TFTC, #5482
Nice and quiet today without a young one in sight to hinder as it turned out a quick find. TFTC
Nice and quiet with no one in the play ground today - bit wet and windy. I could hear the house next door but I quietly managed to find the log and sign it! . Well done nice hide
We agree with Geckoh. Twigs snapping underfoot sound very loud. We recall WWII movies, when some German shot the hero when he snapped a twig. So with "twigs" duly signed we withdrew back to behind enemy lines.
Thanks Squirrel.
Thanks Squirrel.
Clever hide. Actually looked at cache hiding spot and then got distracted. after a few minutes looking elsewhere we got refocused and found it. Thanks

We love to exercise a bit of stealth and this was one such occasion that was useful, the house near GZ was still lit up around 10.15pm so had to be very selective on the torch usage, managed to sneak to the cache and a good hint got me there without head scratching. Quick sign and replace and tip toed back out of the bushes, Why is it that twigs sound like a horn going off when they snap at night???
Didnt need to save these for the August challenge so all on the hitlist tonight.

Will have to leave this one for another time as a couple of families with children were having playtime & looked like they were going to be there for a while.
1.50pm - Found cache which is on leased land. Person leasing area from council is OK having cache here, good camo. SLTFTC
Away for a few days in the camper. Had problems with the dog next door. Owner came out when I got back to the car.
It was very quite here today no children around, except a big fat NZ Wood pigeon TFTC
