In the heart of a vast, snowy forest, there lay a quaint little town called Sneggrad. Its residents were known for their warmth and hospitality, despite the icy cold that blanketed their surroundings. Among the town's unique features was a geocache hidden deep within the frost-covered woods. One crisp winter morning, a geocacher named Alex set out on a quest to find the elusive cache. Equipped with a map, GPS, and a thick coat, Alex ventured into the snow-draped forest. The cache, cleverly named "Sneggrad's Secret," was rumored to be tucked away in an old, forgotten chapel. As Alex navigated through the frosty trees, the sound of crunching snow beneath boots was the only company. The GPS pointed towards an ancient oak tree, its gnarled branches like skeletal fingers against the white landscape. With excitement building, Alex began to dig through the snow near the base of the tree. After some digging, a small, weathered metal box emerged. Opening it revealed a logbook and a few trinketsan old coin, a tiny snow globe, and a note from the previous finder. The note, written in elegant script, spoke of Sneggrads rich history and the beauty of the snowy landscape. It was a warm reminder of the charm that lay hidden beneath the cold exterior of the town.Alex signed the logbook with a note of thanks and added a small souvenir of their owna miniature sled. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange, Alex made their way back, the thrill of discovery warming them against the chill of the evening. The cache had been found, but more importantly, the magic of Sneggrad had been experienceda tale of adventure that would be shared with fellow geocachers for years to come.Come visit SA's longest running annual event -keep the Long weekend free- June 2025 Can't wait!!2590
Clare and Gilbert Valley caravan trip. Day 5 - Brinkworth to Snowtown and return.TFTC
Staying next 2 nights in Wallaroo but taking the long way there. Haven't cached this area before.
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day one travelling from Gawler to Streaky Bay on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. And there are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.Found lots of caches on the trip. Thanks for the cache and making me get out and stretch Freddo.
i am pretty sure that i have found this cache in the past but apparently i never logged it. i returned today to add my name to the near new log book and claim a smilie to fit my calendar challenge .i can confirm that this town has an interesting history and many colourful characters tftc
Seen the cache at a distance lying on the ground in the open, while still in the vehicle. Replace cache as lid was missing, stamped and put back as the hint has indicated. TFTC
Quick easy, find and a fantastic welcome to Snowtown sign…. Thank you for placing a Geo here supposed to keep it in order, because I
Out and about today and I decided to check the map to see what was nearby.
I find myself with time to kill so I stopped by here for a find.
Many thanks to Freddo for placing and maintaining Sneggrad. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Unfortunately this one was lying out in the open on the ground. The log book was nearby. Lucky both were dry. Looking at the notes and clue, Karyn71 and I placed it where it may have been. TNLN. Cheers.
Easily found as it was lying on the ground with the contents scattered. Chookster and I reassembled it and replaced it.
There had to be a cache here, there just had to be, so, as i turned the corner on my less than straight route home, I looked....yup.... TWO ... whooo hooo.... well camouflaged, dry and with plenty of room. Normally I dont like the teeny tiny ones, but I will make an exception today... just wanted to get another ...just one more ...TYFTC SLTNLN except plenty of pics for next time so i can solve the nearby multi!!

Had a good idea of what we were looking for thanks to the hint, grabbed it straight away. Thanks for a great cache, cheers cobber.
As Mum-Inegüxle wanted to take a picture of Snowtown (last night the temperatures were that cold, that we were frightened it would start snowing) it was her turn to look for the cache. She did well and we got another smiley...
Regards from snowing Switzerland.

A day off from work had me off to the north west with Purrfect Di and Jack...
A few random caches to be found along the way - this was one of the lucky ones
Realistically it was a stinking hot day, with hoards of icky flies, harsh winds, and smoke filled skies from the KI bushfires
But we still had a good time hopping in and out of our air conditioned geo mobile!
A barrel of fun was had at this town...

Actually found this one by mistake while I was trying to get the info for the nearby multi...I hadn't even realised there was a trad here as well...so it was a super quick find.

Finished work at 1pm and then we got our selves packed up and off on the road to Quorn for the June Long Weekend. We were going for a few of the events but not for the game itself. We thought it would be a great trip to make for the long weekend with lots going on.
We didn't find very many caches on the way there as we wanted to get to the campsite before the sunset to get our tent up and have a sundowner beer. Then to the pub in time for the When Freddo met Sally event.
The road North was pretty busy heading to Port Augusta wonder why they still haven't made this dual carriageway the entire way.....
We only had time for 6 finds but every one counts and made for an enjoyable drive.
We mainly targeted Freddo caches on the quest to get to 350 Frog caches by the end of the year.
This was our first of the day, we really liked this town entrance a bit of effort has gone into it.
TFTC Freddo. Nice to stretch the legs here.

Didn't we have a lovely day, the day we went to Snowtown.
Had finds on the way, 3 DNFs for the day, 5 DNFs off the books, hurray!
And after a rest, we wandered to Ness, and we answered a question on pink ground.
Collecting the smiles as we ate up the miles and the caches got found!
A quick find by the Owl. (And you're welcome to the earworm composed on the way home!)

Well that was a bit tricky.
I made a quick find and sign but when logging it I found it was purportedly a multi which didn't make any sense.
Then later a message from Tk2 pointing out my mistake.

Definitely a Massey according to Mr Beetle as Deere's are green.
What a great town sign and a quick find was made here.
Last for the day and then it was time to find somewhere to park the van for the day.
Thanks.
