Another quick find on our travels south. Good time to stop for a break and a cache. TFTC.
A little cheer and a happy song is what I needed. Stopping for a cache as we pass, my heads been bad today and although a little better since the sun dropped, just this distance from the car was almost too much. Time to try to cheer up about things and hope this will pass one day!Staying in Whyalla last night was a good opportunity to stock up before we head north. Coober Pedy was our target. After some local caches and shopping, it was on the road. Lots of earthcaches led us to many interesting locations. On a warm sunny day with temperates into the 30C also quite pleasant and not to warm. Great scenery, rock formations and even a FTF of a new virtual. Red banks was a fascinating location in Port Augusta, lucky for low tide to get there. Back out into the outback, amazing country and heading north. The day caught up with us and made camp about 2 hours south of coober pedy in a rest stop.
Day two of the road trip to Coober PedyGot away quite early, for me, from Port Augusta but due to a slight fuelling mistake only found three caches before fuelling at Pimba then checking in at Woomera. Got up to Andamooka for the AdLab there and all the nearby physical caches before heading back to Woomera for the two AdLabs there. A nice number of mainly traditionals were found on the way and this was one of the ones I wanted.Think this was one I found. Thanks to Freddo the Frog for adding to the playing field with this cache.Smilie #15117.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Day 2 of our 5day trip to Coober Pedy. This is a fun trip for SA Sewer Rats and ttrogg. We quick located the cache.Stamped the log and replaced as found.Tftc
Good to find a cache on the way and we didn't have to climb anything. Legs intact because wearing trousers Thanks Freddo!Greetings - pilot03 #4544
careful of prickles we found the cashe in the very top left corner which we had to some serious leg ups and climbing to actually get down, its now in the same location just easier to reach thanks for the cashe
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case Freddo, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches.Today we ware on the way from Adelaide to Alice Springs and we did a few nice caches.CO thanks for bringing us on this nice place and make this cache.
Found by The Empire + HAs we approached Woomera, the landscape seemed to stretch endlessly in all directions. The red earth of the Australian outback surrounded us, creating a striking contrast to the vast blue sky above. It was a scene of isolation and beauty that made us feel like we were on the edge of the world.Woomera is not your typical outback town. It was established as a rocket testing range in the 1940s and later became a pivotal location for Australia's space exploration efforts. The town's history is intertwined with the development of cutting-edge technology and the exploration of the cosmos.A quick find here before taking the detour. Thanks for the cache Freddo the Frog.- M
An easy find on our way back home after a couple of nights in Roxby Downs. Luckily we carry an elevation enhancement device in the back of the Navara these days. Thanks Freddo the Frog.
Managed to stop on the verge with a caravan. Easy find. Can see it from the road.

If the sun could just break through the clouds I’m sure there would be a rainbow appear, but no, it’s very overcast and intermittent showers of rain today. Excellent travelling weather.

Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explore the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos We drove to Adelaide, visited the koalas and continued north.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Ich bedanke mich bei Freddo the Frog für den Cache, das Zeigen dieses Ortes, das Legen und Pflegen der Dose und den Spaß beim Finden! Thanks for the cache!

The three of us were heading home from Coober Pedy, and found this cache along the way. Mr Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked, and the cache name really delivered - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Freddo the Frog.

Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to Freddo from mogni

well at least this cache is above flood level height. quick find.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

Jacked up on FUIC purchased from nearby Spuds, I make the sad decision that I just don’t have time for Woomera today. So here’s my consolation. It’s currently in a 60 zone, making it even more attractive, with all the real roadwork currently taking place further south. There is the added excitement of not knowing what the signs say if you are coming from the north. The trademark magnet feels like a piece of home. Thanks Freddo.
Found it cache was not on the sign but a few metres away in the scrub, returned to back of sign. TFTC
Off for a northern tour with Purrfect Di and Jack...
somehow we ended up at your cache ! ! !
I could while away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers,
Consulting with the rain;
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts are busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel ev'ry riddle for my
Individdle
In trouble or in pain
With the thoughts that you'll be thinkin'
You could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain.
Oh, I, could tell you why
The oceans near the shore
I could think of things I'd never
Thunk before,
And then I'd sit down and think some more.
I would not be just a muffin',
My head all full of stuffin',
My heart all full of pain;
And perhaps I'd deserve you and be
Even worthy even you
If I only had a brain.
Luckily we had enough brain between us to figure out where to look. We then needed a little magic to move the tight freddo magnet
Not too many trees around here, and no live rainbows today although there may have been in the last couple of wet days!!!
Thank you Freddo for another cool rainbow smiley on our SA geomap

From october 16 to november 6 2019, my wife (lp.dk) and I visited Australia for the first time.
After a flight of more than 20 hours, we landed in Darwin. After 2 nights in the city we continued in a rented car first towards Kakadu National Park and later towards Alice Springs.
In Alice Springs we were picked up in an off-road bus and went on a 3-day trip into the wilderness, with overnight stays in a tent close to Uluru.
Back in Alice Springs we drove all the way to Adelaide, from where we flew to Sydney, where we visited our son who has settled there.
After 5 days in the city, we flew back to Singapore, which we visited for 2 days before the final flight back to Copenhagen.
In total, the trip lasted just over 3 weeks.
On the trip we would like to find / visit as many Earth caches, Virtual and Webcams as possible, but also the other kinds of caches when possible.
