One of my geofriend Dranyer and i went searched for ages as Dryaner found few months ago and remember where it was but couldnt find it
Yes getting better, a second find in Australia, just a little warmer than hunting in the UK!!!! TFTC
On a mission today to grab 8 different types of geocaches in a single day, with a rough plan mapped out which would take me all over Brisbane. Out the door at 0530 prepared for a big day, culminating in the Festive Season Meet N Greet event. A little digging in a couple of spots soon revealed the container. Love the cake knife scrape on the top. All is well here TFTC
Went in, had a look and didn't find it. Will have a look another day, when there is less muggle activity.
I had parked quite close to this one today. With muggles across the road in their garden watching my every move, I took a walk and collected a few other local caches. On my return, the muggles were still watching me suspiciously, so I left without searching. Next time perhaps.
Thanks PJATPAC

After a work meeting this morning I decided to do some caches in the area. After finding the nearby letterbox cache, I hopped into the car. Now where were those other ones. Oh, they are just here and I walked past one of them coming back. I searched for quite a while for this one. Decided to go and find the other nearby cache. Came back, looked at the photos, and thought now I know where to look. Well hidden cache!
How very funny that I found this a year after it was placed. Does that mean that it is Jane's birthday today!! I did this one in between finding WP's for the Oxley puzzle. Thanks PJATPAC
Out caching with toe toe altacious and kfemily. Found a few this afternoon.
Happy Birthday! I ducked by to find this one and found it easily. I was logging it when a nearby neighbour came out to check her mail. My knees are now killing me coz I had to stay squatting until she went back inside. Who reads their mail at the letterbox?! Seriously. Anyway I popped it back after noticing how Jane tried to cut through the box. Cute idea! Thanks for another smiley!

Lisylou had already found this one but all good i was steered in the general direction then it wasn't too long before I had the cache in hand tftc
out on a play date with Iolanthek
in the area to collect a puzzle and GPS says 50m that way
quick collect on the way out
we later drove past the hide from another direction and i didn't realise it was the same spot lol

Dropped in to swap over a TB. Found another group of cachers out for a nighttime birthday geocache mission (quite appropriate given the name of this cache). Having been here before I was able to point them in the right direction for the cache. Hope you had a good birthday finding lots of caches.
Out on an early morning caching run with Buzzgirls. No problems with the find. Tftc
Out and about today for a couple of hours before it gets too hot on a sunny summers day.
I parked the car park and followed the GPSr straight to this one.
It was uncovered...but it not now.
Thanks for the cache.

Happy to add another smiley in this area as I have very few here! I went the wrong way with this one and had to back track, finally had the cache in hand, signed the log and we were on our way TFTC.
A couple of weekends back Couchmen did an excellent job of converting my neighbour, now known as Happy Queenslander, to the world of geocaching Guess that's what happens when you invite a gaggle of cachers home for xmas drinks.
Parked Sooty nearby and wandered over to GZ. As this was HQ's first ever cache, we took it slowly. I spotted the cache from a couple of metres away and let HQ retrieve it. We signed the logbook and then a round of high 5's! Always good to get that first one out of the way
On we strolled to look for ducks...
TFTC PJATPAC, liking the cake a lot!

Goldielover and I were out to nab a few close caches today. Managed to spot this one. The park is a little busy today. Nice quick find.

Found with stairman1 and geodog. This was the next one on the way. The clue was very helpful although we didn't need as it the container was sitting out in all its glory . Signed our names and hid it safely back. Thanks PJATPAC
Out with Blacklegend and kids today and after looking at a few different areas to attack we settled on this one as it had the least found by each of us.
Blacklegend and kids had found this previously so the kids were having great difficulty holding back while I searched.
I finally spotted something a bit out of place and grabbed my prize soon after.
Thanks PJATPAC for the hide and belated birthday wishes to HNRooster TFTC SL TNLN

Thank you for the cache. I'm up from Sydney introducing a friend to geocaching for the first time.
After heading in the wrong direction towards the toilets, I finally trusted the compass and did a 180! Grabbed the cache, signed and back in track! TFTc
Found on a 4 day trip which included 3 nights camping in Stanthorpe with three of the kids, Jasmine 9yo and James + Jemma 7yo. Started off heading via Brisbane and the Planetarium, collecting a few around that area with Radnoski, met a few other fellow cachers, then headed South via Warwick to Stanthorpe, collecting caches along the way. Stayed at Top of The Town, and arriving late, a mad rush to set up a new tent ensued. But with help from the kids all was well.
The second day featured over 120 finds, and a clean up for me of the A.S. Series, Animal Series and the Fruit Run. Saw some great spots, and the kids had a ball finding a heap of caches.
The third day featured 86 finds, a few DNF's, but a sensational loop starting in Stanthorpe, and heading South and then back to Stanthorpe, a distance of around 200 or so kms. Visited some of the best cache locations I have been to, and quite a few fav points to be given out. A big maccas dinner the reward for the kids and me....
The fourth and final day, was of course the pack up, then a cruisy trip home, collecting only 22 finds, but there were still some good spots visited. Also got the chance to meet Team Robins, great to meet you.....
In summary, found 258 caches, got my 9000th find, and had a nice time away with the kids... Missed some awesome looking Earth Caches in the area, but will get them next time I plan a trip out that way. My sincere thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches, without whose efforts, I would have had nothing to find. I am using a generic log on the power trail caches, but on others, of course there will be a personal comment.

Nice afternoon for hunting. Good find for the kids. Few bushes but found the right one easily.
A quick drive by on my way to the Oxley Series ? caches. Parked up nice and close too. TFTC
Heading towards a puzzle I was keen to collect, but I got distracted by a few in this area along the way A lady was waiting at the nearby bus stop, but I was able to find cover for my search. All in good order here. TFTC, PJATPAC. Happy belated birthday, Jane
I found myself going past and decided to have a shot. What a great cake and great concept! It took me a little while to spot, and two bus drivers arrived to use the facilities so I stayed down and quiet. All was fine in the end, and I managed to reach in and out without getting dirty or splitting any seams which is always a bonus. Well done to all concerned!
I was in the area doing maintenance on my caches and had to drive past the cache.
I needed a find for today as my 61st day on a streak.
I parked beside a car which had muggles sitting in it and disappeared into the bushes.
I found the cache easily but then I found that I had lost the pen I had been carrying so I had to take the cache back past the muggles to the car to sign the log and then return past the muggles again to replace the cache and back again to the car. I wonder what the thought I was doing.

After a few minutes of searching, managed to locate cache, signed log and returned to hiding spot. TFTC
After five minutes or so rummaging in all the wrong places the find was made. Log signed and caches returned to it's hide. TFTC
Day 30 of the 31 day challenge, and on our way home from a caching day with Ed and Barb Bowman. The cache was quickly located, signed, replaced, and on our way again. TFTC.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
We saw this one pop up and decided to leave it for a filler later in the month and today was that day. After finding a carpark nearby, we spent some time bouncing around as the GPSr didn't want to play today, soon the eagle eyed kab spotted the goods.

My co-ords were way off as my gps had me 1km away at one point. Luckily Lisylou s were slightly better and she made the find. It sounds like your birthday was lots of fun!
My co-ordinates seemed a little off with this one but the clue helped point me in the right direction. Love the idea and story about the cake. Tftc.

The placement of this cache was perfect for me and I was able to enter in my business attire without a hint of suspicion... [^] Armed with my black book to look all official like, I strolled straight into the area, moved into a likely location and spotted the cache...
With all the cover provided, I extracted the log to see that I wasn't the first visitor here today... I added a sticker and tucked things away, then headed off having secured my find for the day and retained the run for 31 days of August.
Cheers Mrs PJATPAC and Team BF.

Well, I love birthday cake. My mum had her own secret formulae for our birthday cakes when we were kids and it was the best ever. Dad would say, "What's your secret mum?" she would reply, "Just made it up out of my head". Dad "Mustn't have much head left!" We kids would all laugh hysterically even though we heard it every birthday. Never did get the recipe. Well, after failing to get the 'cake ninja' recipe right, thought I may as well have a piece of this one. At least I was successful here. Exchanged TBs signed the log added a birthday gift and put it back in the cupboard for the next hungry cacher. Thanks PJATPAC it was delicious.
A nice quick find parked right next to gz. Dropped off 2 TBs to keep traveling. Happy births and TFTC Mrs PJATPAC and Team BF
We were using both an iPhone and a dedicated GPS today, which was handy as the app picked up on a recently published cache only meters from where we parked the car. I jumped out to make an easy find, though spent a good fifteen minutes wandering around in the garden, under the eye of two nearby buses. It wasn't until I approached one feature from a different angle that I noticed the cache poking out from it's little hole.

I found myself out this way and seeing this cache on the radar, I felt it rude to not have a look for it. I peeled off the highway, parked closeby and headed in. I had a gander at the cache page, naturally and what a wonderful cause for a cache! The cake looked marvellous, I'd have loved to have had a slice of that action (tiddy boom).
Initially I found the wrong way in, so back to the path and found an easier way to access GZ. I looked about and spied something likely. All in good condition here and happy 21st Jane! (that's about right isn't it?) TFTC Mrs PJATPAC and Team BF

***FTF*** in my cake!!!! Mrs PJATPAC's glorious cake decorating was worthily matched by Team B-F's multi created for my birthday earlier in the year. It started in my locker with a key on a chain secured by a combination lock. What followed was twists and turns, culminating in a cake hidden in the bushes. The moment I saw the chickens on top, a lump formed in my throat and I was weeping, cutting through the cake. Hmm, bit of a tough centre. No worries, just use the serrated knife how you were trained to. Nice long saws, using your whole knife. Duh! No, she hasn't, surely?! Indeed she did. Thanks guys, you made is such a hard act to follow

Had to avoid disturbing a council worker having a sleep in his truck at GZ but managed to duck in and out without waking him. This cache may be a bit tricky with muggles on weekends as the park is well used.
Congrats and best wishes for the birthday HNRooster.

Nice easy find after a long day on my feet. All safe and dry and well here... might have to be careful when there are lots of muggles hanging out in the carpark.
