Today we headed out for a day of quality over quantity caching. I did however have quite a big list which as usual we didnt complete. Never enough time in the day!! We did some nice walks and found some lovely caches. Our thanks as usual to all the hiders for this wonderful work, there were some really creative caches today. Weve loved seeing so many Oyster Catchers on this trip TFTC
Thanks whitewebbs for hiding this cache, I needed a find for today to update my calendar and find streak. Your Traditional cache, A Special Place, was just what I needed. This is my find #1554 at 09:12 on 11/5/2024. A very foggy morning. Found with Luca.
On a walk with a client today, and collecting some caches along the way. First one today, and a clever hide!TFTC
About a month ago I came with my granddaughter but put all our focus on what seemed the nearby obvious place for a hide. Later in the evening I thought about it and found it not long after. Today I brought a pen to write in the log although there is a pencil. On that first search we walked on and had a picnic near the old jetty.
Found nice and quickly, mainly because father had been shown the hide before we started officially geocaching. Still, nice to have it officially logged now and a smiley in its place. A really creative and challenging hide, and a beautiful and special place. TFTC ️
The cache was not in its expected place. I started to overthink the whole cache, until S_38 held up what we expected from the start, it was just misplaced. All back to normal now! Thanks for another smiley!
Down in the area for a few new caches. Lovely reserve. It was quite obvious where the cache should be, but alas it was not. After basically giving up I decided to have a quick look off the track and into the grass/scrub. Found the cache still attached to it's camo laying in the long grass. Obviously found and thrown away. put back where it should be. Thanks whitewebbs.
One of twenty-one caches found today with Zozetta. We began the day at Honeywood Drive where we found a cache which we had previously had a DNF on, we then drove towards Sandford collecting caches along the way. Most of the caches we found were traditionals, but we found two excellent multis as well. A fun day out with many quality caches found.
A quick find here. Another excellent hide.
Thanks for the cache whitewebbs!

I think Mortimer bay is definitely a special place and worthy of this title! This was a very sneaky hide! Loved it
Was in the area so decided to pick up some traditionals in this area.

Super sneaky and so much fun! Thank you, my kids got a real kick out of finding this. No pen a s we didn’t bring one, will return to sign.
So many special places were to be visited today but unfortunately we just grabbed the drive by caches and moved on. Didn't even want to walk down to this beach today as we got wet enough just grabbing this cache.
The log sheet for this one was full with most of the names being in pencil and written by a group of little muggles I think. At least they didn't vandalise the cache
I just signed in a gap.
Thanks, a nice hide but one we're quite used to.

This area is stunning and i have only just started to cache it [^]
I loved the hint, the play on words
Cache found and log signed at 10:54 on Saturday 9 January 2021
The black ants were more plentiful than the Blue Wrens at GZ today and i have never seen so many Blue Wrens than in these bushy areas. They are so abundant and exquisitely cute [:x]

Have found a couple of sneaky caches like this before so knew where to look once I twigged to the location. Car park full of muggle cars but managed to locate cache without interruption. Beautiful spot but didn’t have time for a walk today. Will have to return. Thanks whitewebbs for putting effort into creating different caches.
Found this cache on the way home from town visit with Dad.
Great spot, excellent hide.
thanks whitewebbs, gets a fav. point.

Hi whitewebbs, this was the fourth cache found today and yes it is indeed a special place here. Two hides in a row from you today wandering around the South Arm and Honeywood areas. Didn't get to your two new hides as with overnight restrictions lifted the grandkids were keen to stay so finished up the day just after lunch and so to be continued. Mrs PC made the find here a lot of cars at GZ but no muggles in sight.
While on our geocaching drive we went right past this spot so decided to pull over and have a bit of a look. I looked all around the sign. All around the near by tree still no cache hmmm. As I was walking back past the sign I saw something that looked a bit odd. I have found one very similar to this of yours at Risdon Brook Dam. I signed the log and put it back in its home. All is good with the cache thanks again
With most of our local caches now tracked down, we're beginning to have to travel further afield in order to find decent caching patches. We've been caching down South Arm a couple of times and always meant to head to Sandford, but hadn't managed to get there - until today. As an added bonus SonOfSteel was in town, so we had some extra company while out and about.
The plan was to start with from the southern end of Mortimer Bay and head north to Lauderdale, picking up a few caches along the way. As such, this ended up being one of the first ones we went for.
Heading to the posted coordinates, we were presented with potentially many places where a cache could be stashed. We commenced a thorough search, and a few minutes later SonOfSteel came up with the goods. We were kicking ourselves a little bit - we've found a couple of other similar whitewebbs caches before, and should have thought to look there sooner...
Still, a lovely spot and, as always, a fun cache. TFTC!

April Fool's Day - what a great introduction to caching on Tasmania's South Arm. Having found a similar hide earlier, we soon had our name logged in here. A bonus for us was learning the name of the birds we have been watching on our travels. A FP for a cleverly devised hide.
Thanks to 'whitewebbs' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Hi whitewebbs and thanks very much for this cache. I had to plead with my driver to stop here, as he'd found it years ago. A nice quick find as I've found a few others of yours similar to this.
I found a blank log so signed it "FTF (lol)"
I think we're getting slowly closer to pizza!

Thought I would do a trip down this way today and get a few caches. Have only been down here a couple of times. So thanks giving me a reason to come explore. Log paper getting a bit second hand. TFTC
Greetings from Seattle!
I was about to log my DNF at this one, then thought I'd give it another look. I spotted something that seemed out of sorts and then there was the cache. The crazy thing is I've got a hide of my own in Seattle that is hidden in the exact same way! I feel so dumb for not going straight to this one! Anyway, the log is now stamped and I'm adding a favorite point since the CO and I must think alike given the style of hide.
