Was on the way to pick up sister so decided to grab this one on the way. Was hoping for a smiley face but was unable to find.
I came to this one today, after dropping the kiddies off for skating. Second DNF of the day, and I was gutted, as I could use the 15 points to get to Pluto.
I think something is missing from GZ. I'll send the CO a photo. I'll be back!

I love cunning urban caches that I can find!! Out for an evening stroll with a muggle friend, and she spotted it for me - love this type, it scores a favourite from me, TFTC
Stealth certainly required here!!
Had my mini cacher as a decoy but wasn’t needed as I timed it ok. Tftc

Had to wait out three full changes of lights before the traffic had cleared and it was safe to dive in for the find. quick and easy to replace because everyone was concentrating on what they were supposed to be. TFTC # 11,756
Knew where the cache would be hidden as I approached. Nice work! TFTC and have a favourite from me.
In Christchurch for the weekend with my partner and while she is doing a 2 day course I came up with her as it isvthe perfect time to log lots of caches and try to log 2000 before next year. TFTC
I got an idea from the subtle hints in the comments... We've had a bad morning with lots of blue faces logged so was nice to find this towards the end of the day!
Very clever! Found with the Woodsey Tribe. Had to think a bit since we haven't found a cache like it before!!

Finally! The Outpost has fallen! Needless to say it was in the most obvious place. I had checked it both times I was here before and dismissed it both times because nothing was moving. Looks like I simply was too weak for this cache.
The funny bent hammer is still by the tree
Thanks for the cache!

I Have a cache exactly the same as this in Ashburton so as soon as I pulled up to this I knew exactly where it would be. A great idea and great minds think alike. Tftc found with rayzr2
Nice hide we have one very similar to this.... found very quickly and the only reason for that is because we have one... good luck to those who have never seen one of these before they can be very very tricky TFTC
Luckily it had stopped raining and it was a quick find. Thankfully there was something for me to stand on so I could reach it.
Yep. Nice and easy. I like how with some of these you can arrive and just know where and what it is! Thanks for the cache!
Found on the insomnia tour with cab165. Exactly where we both thought it was going to be but the only reason we spotted it was the wear and tear of a damn good cache. TFTC
Was in the first place I looked, but was so stiff I couldn't move it. A local pointed us to it and a bigger shove bagged the cache. TFTC
DNF
Second time around here. I absolutely have no idea where the cache could be now. This is one of those that I simply cannot find for some reason.
At the most obvious spot it looks like something would come off and reveal the box but it just wouldn't come off, so I guess that is not the spot.
I found a hammer though!

Saw the likely spot. When the traffic started moving I got it. Signed the log while the next crowd was sitting and waiting, then replaced it as soon as they were moving again.
Had wandered by a few days ago, but GZ was too busy to allow for a thorough search. Today there was plenty of traffic, but no one on the grounds.
DNF
I think I looked at the right place but to no avail. I even had someone pass by and giving me a hint where to look but I still couldn't find it. Gone?

A late night jaunt into town on a mission to pick up this specific cache. Have driven past a fair few times in the past and always thought I must get that one when it is less busy. Tonight was the night although a Saturday night it was rainy and quite late so little traffic about which meant we managed a quick find (street view showed a couple of options) in the first place looked. Had a few moments waiting to replace while the traffic cleared. Glad to get this one finally ticked off. Great hide but not much can elude us for long.
Jess.daphne and I were out getting some caches for Get Outdoors Day and we decided to grab this one on the route home. I thought I saw what we were after but it didn't budge, luckily jess.daphne got a little movement and we knew we were on to something. After a little effort we had the cache in hand. Another cool hide and I'm happy to claim this one as my 800th find. Woohoo! Tftc.
We arrived at gz as the sun was setting. In the space between traffic light changes we managed to find this cache. A very cool hide, TFTC!
#12427. We passed this cache on the way home, so stopped by so I could find it (Troodles found it some months back while we were house sitting in Opawa). When we got to GZ there was a muggle working on a car, so we turned to leave. However he called us back and asked if we were doing, er, whatever that thing was called. It turned out that the wife of a workmate was a cacher, so he knew of geocaching. Given he wasn't really a muggle, I resumed the search and soon found the nicely hidden cache. TFTC.
Wow thanks Wanglers !
This was a really cool find on our stay in St Martins.....
Sure had to wait for a break in the traffic !
Ric guessed the cache correctly ....so I attempted retreival , but too hard...
So Ric took over !
A favourite !

Found at about 9.30pm, half way through a bike ride on a warm evening. I knew exactly what to do as I pulled up to GZ. Got to the log book quickly, under the relative cover of darkness. Very nicely done! TFTC
Finally I was brave enough to do this, at a low-traffic time of day! Spotted TB in there.
Parking in the empty lot we strolled back to the obvious location and examined an item closely. Stepping away the geowife said "does that look right to you" returning for a closer inspection we had CIH. As the CO has been Mega busy lately and gave us a few spare log sheets we thought that we would place one here with s new zip lock bag as they were needed.
Great hide .

Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!
Greetings from Finland

Thanks for the cache.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
On a Mega weekend caching around Christchurch area. Lots of fun and nice places with good caches. Thanks for the cache!

Tenth day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards south. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. We made it to Christchurch, so now it is time to do some caching!
quick find, busy paws saw, and I retrieved. found with geo Jessie and busy paws
Have been looking at this for a few months, so with young ones in tow,( who can get away with being in odd places, handling "odd" things) I did the spying and they did the retrieval. TFTC. A fav.l
Glad to finally get this one. I pass here often, but have not been here at the right time to stop. Breaks in traffic were sufficient today and it didn't take me long to track the cache down. Thanks for the fun.
This cache was one of 350 found on a short trip back to New Zealand, which was principally organised so that I could attend my Great Grandmother's 100th birthday.
I have a great time and enjoyed a great variety of caches, most of which were new (ie published in the past couple of years ).
Thanks for all the great caches.

Have been saving this one for the right moment. I did attempt it when I first started geocaching but didn't have a clue. Six months later and I had a good idea where it might be before I got here. So happy birthday Geocaching! I was only just tall enough even with the helpful step. Tftc and keeping it going.
Was passing with JustMeg so couldn't resist grabbing this one. As soon as I saw the likely spot I knew what I had to do (seen another one like it). As JustMeg had already found it she kept watch as I quickly grabbed it in between traffic. Had to be quick! Very nice hide! TFTC
Found this one in the late hours of the evening, much easier with no muggles! Thought it may have been disturbed with the earth works going on, but, we heard the jingle and mstrcam had it in hand I like these hides Tftc!
Quick find after getting sent to the wrong area by gps. Found a few like this in Brisbane. Nice hide. No muggles at 11.45pm. SL. Cheers!
Last time I came here it was day time it was busy with traffic and the outpost wouldn't give up the prize when the opportunity presented itself, but this evening it was a different story. Under street lamps only and dwindling traffic flow the prize was released... I then performed my found it funky dance (FIFD) , and signed the log TFTC TheWanglers, from TeamMcI, 4 April 2015 22:45, cache number #831!
At last!!! I have glared at this bad boy for a while now. Hunted for t early one morning but had no luck and every other time I went past it was peak traffic. An easy find now a fav from us. Tftc
Thoroughly searched the area, but to no avail. The same Muggles came back in their dark pewter coloured Honda Civic ( UG5984) and begged a 10c coin from me at 1430Hr on 14February 2015!
Found this one a while ago ingenious idea loved it will take away ideas from this. Left something behind my phone went flat when I wanted to log my experience
Outpost alright.Pretty muggle free at 10:14pm but pretty obvious location! Cheers TW
Great cache has given us ideas for our own great one guys we had tried to grab this a few times with enough pulling found it haha off with the cap. Great cache wife left some goods behind
Clever hide - just what we expect from TheWanglers. Had to wait for the traffic to clear before replacing it. Tftc
Felt a bit exposed with all the traffic but no one seemed to be interested in us. Found with debsnz
Tried twice to find this cache but had no luck, so after getting a hint from a fellow cacher I decided that third time should be lucky - and yes, it was! TFTC.
