We parked the car just beyond the gate in the shade and walked to GZ.This was a nice simple find at a beautiful location. Thanks for bring us here.TFTC
A plan was devised by Phetlern and Suscoe to do a caching trip around Swan Hill.
Geoturtle37, Papi4506 and ourselves were invited to go along.
Day 2. A lap from Swan Hill to the country side and back again.
Unless otherwise stated - all good here.
All caches signed as the 'B Team', 'DGP' or 'The Drovers'. Replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Sparra0907, and for Phetlern & Suscoe for the invite.

Suscoe and Phetlern were heading to the Swan Hill area and asked The Drovers, Geoturtle37 and myself if we would like to accompany them. We have a number of DNF's that need redemption so were pleased for the invite.
This was a nice easy find although we did have to walk a little due to the water level. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Nearing the end of a Sunday north of the Murray, interstate for us! Together with Suscoe, The Drovers, Papi4506 & Geoturtle37. We found a great assortment of caches in countryside that continually changed.
Snuck around edge of the over full lake to reach this cache. As the log was being signed we noticed the cache container is made of glass,
To maximise the space on cache logs for future cachers, we logged our visit as "B Team"
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Cache container is made of glass, which is not a recomended material for use as a cache container.
Thanks to the Owner for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Suscoe had a big day out today organised with a wonderful group of geocachers.
We left Swan Hill early in the morning and got back late afternoon. We got as far as Wakool then up to Moulamein and back to Swan Hill.
Such wonderful countryside that changed as we travelled, dry land fams, irrigation, grazing, swampy land, rivers and creeks and lakes. along with little towns and lots of caches.
It was a delightful day of around 23 degrees top temperature and a gentle breeze at times.
We logged the caches as the "B TEAM"
Thanks to Sparra0907 for this hide. We were able to sneek along the side of the very full lake between the fence and the water to find this one.

This was interesting. Drove down thinking lake = water but it was stone dry. Strange to look at, it brought home the current drought. Found the first cache quickly enough but my jaw dropped when I realized it was a decoy. Haha, very funny! Wasn't long though, before tassie expat found the real thing. Tftc
At the start of the dirt road.
TE: I can't see the lake...
FR1: That's it. It's all green.
TE: Isn't that grass?
FR1 (sorrowfully): yes
Laughed at submerged object warning signs. So dry. Fishing rod stayed in the car and we went hunting the geocache instead. A quick find for 15 1/2 months of unlove. Contents in good condition. Fav pt for bringing us to a place that we would not have visited otherwise. TFTC

TFTC took a while to find this one.We had our fellow geocache friends climbing a tree or two. Nice area
With Fitzy_1965 we headed off towards the Murray River near Swan hill. Lots of driving with great river banks to be explored on four rivers along the way. Day 3. After a cockatoo filled night at Chah Singh Reserve we headed further towards Swan Hill, via the Wakool River and Toolybuc. We after a dash to the outskirts of Swan Hill we ended up camping near Nyah on the Murray River, no cockatoos this time.
Thanks.

15,144. Found during a long weekend run down through the Lockhart, Jerilderie, Deniliquin, Moulamien, Tooleybuc and Nyah regions with Albida33.
After camping down by the river near the cache Chah Singh last night, we packed up and continued along our planned caching trail. This was the next find for the day. Nice quick grab at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !
TNLN - TFTC !!

**OK. its been fixed up today with a brand new cache container and its back in its correct location and all ready to be found again. Cheers. CO. Sparra0907. **
5696 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1030. Time for a drive to find a few more caches. This was a DNF for us last time and we thought it may be the same today as the container was some metres from where we had gz and it was placed at ground level. Not what we thought is should be. The container has succumbed to the rages of the sun and has started to fall to pieces. We placed the lot in a cliplock bag and replaced high. There is a need for some cache maintenance here.SL Tnx Sparra0907
Didn't find it

A DNF for us. did the 2x2 bit, then backed the truck up for a little more comfortable perch. Nothing to be found. Got the one closer to the track though.

OK. Thanks for that info about the cache, will replace it asap so that its all good to go again. Cheers.
Found it sitting out by the road for all to see. Repositioned it as close to gz as phone GPS could get it.
All was intact

Found 3.00pm
We parked at the bottom of the hill and enjoyed the walk to GZ. Our GPSr first took us to a likely spot but we could find nothing, then after walking away and back in it pointed just a little bit further away and the cache was soon in hand.
TNLNSL Thanks

Loved the drive down here, and took the chance there'd be a turnaround for the caravan as well. You couldn't have placed it in a better spot for that too, and I see there's a double meaning to the cache name, very clever.
Thanks again Sparra0907

Found with Bogonghazy on our trip from Ballarat taking in the Wedderburn events weekend, Swan Hill, Moulamein, Balranald and then across to Mildura. A relatively quick pick up and sign. Thanks to Sparra0907 for the hide.
Found this about a month ago but forgot to log the visit. Took the tinny for a fish but no luck trolling lures and spinners. I can remember catching heaps of redfin here as a youngster. Found cache and signed log. geokids made some swaps. Nice shady spot. tftc.
We're in Swan Hill for the weekend. The Wenchette is competing at the Fire Brigade State Championships and we're part of the support crew.
This was quite a pleasant spot to stop and watch the bird life. The lake is quite full and the green around it is quite a contrast to the dry further up the road.
We left one of our pathtags for the next finder.
Thank you for the cache Sparra0907.
#2747th @ 1017hrs and 8th of 9 for the day.

Found cache on our way to camp site on the wakool river. Had a quick look just before lunch. Then found it about 5 minutes after lunch break
Used iphone 5 and garmin GPSmap 76. Not much difference between the 2 devices. Both were within about 3 metres of cache

A easy find here for us. A good hide and a good place for a cache. Thankfully no snakes either.
Took a bracelet Left a rubber. TFTC.

Took us a while but was where we originally thought it was. TFTC, took little army man, left smiley rubber and bracelet
Like malleegirl before me, I too was a few metres out according to GPSr but thankfully I read her log and didn't waste too much time on looking in the wrong spot. Quick find on short detour on our way home from football. TFTC
Yay! First to find. Spent a good five minutes searching then finally came across it after considering my gps may be a little out. IPhone was about 4m out. TFTC
