this has not been found for some time, with DNF's mounting up. Needs CO intervention to check.

I was keen to find a mystery-type cache on my first visit to the NT, and this was the only one. But it was not to be, despite solving the puzzle quite easily - while searching in 39 degree heat I had to admit defeat after about 1 hour. And PacGirl wasn't too impressed that I had disappeared 'into the bush' for so long while she sat in a hot car wondering why I was taking so long. (She's clearly more a muggle than a geocacher Smile.
Thanks for the hunt anyway, redcenterdazza.

Unfortunately did not find it. Spent quite a while looking with 4 ppl. By the looks, this month no one has found it . Thanks anyway

25-Aug-16
Came here today for a pre search on the only puzzle in Alice for this year's souvenir challenge. After spending over an hour here left disappointed. Awaiting a reply from CO re lost or muggled or better directions.

05-Aug-16
We wanted to find this cache but with 2 dnf's from experienced cachers we didn't make the effort on the end

13-Jul-16
Decided today, which was a freezing cold winter Alice day, to find only two caches. Two special caches, one being #2,000,000, the other being a puzzle. I had worked out the answer to the puzzle, and found the 2,000,000th cache, now it was time to find a letter to the kids.

I can relate to the description. Always something gets missed on a address, but this won I worked out quite quickly, and though the cache would be a simple find.

After finding our way in - eventually - we started hiking up the track to GZ, but that is where we came unstuck. No sign of a cache, broadend to around 12 metres, still no find. Wanted to get back to van for dinner, so abandoned the search.

Thanks redcenterdazza for the hide.

24-May-16
After 2 attempts and four pairs of eyes we got to zero and extended our search out about 7m after 30 minutes we had to call it a bust. Too tricky for us today.

28-Aug-15
Wow..,,what a great cache. Have never seen one of these before. Enjoyed the walk up to Gz and after a short search the cache was found. Enjoyed the puzzle too

23-Aug-15
Yay! Had this one worked out before we went on our five to the East MacDonnell Ranges and collected on our way back to our caravan. Hope the kidlets eventually got their letter. TFTC. SL.

What an awesome cacbe! Loved everything about it. Had this one solved months ago. Loved the walk, the sneaky hide and the container. Loved the fact that we found it in 5 minutes on our first attempt, especially after reading some of the logs from cachers who are much more experienced than us and have had more than one go at it!!!
Thanks and a favourite point from us.

29-Jun-15
Got to within 2m of Gz but even after checking under every stone we came up with nothing.

13-Apr-15
I was really hoping to find this one but no luck today. The puzzle was no problem but the amount of rocks and hiding spots at GZ. Was impossible for us today.

14-Mar-15
Found for Pi day. We thought we were muggled, but it was just a Wallaby coming in for a sticky beak. The log was soaked, unfortunately we didn't have a spare log us but dried the log before leaving. Tftc

Happy Pi Day. Found a little wet, but all dry now. TFTC

What a difference a good night's sleep makes Razz

I was back here for another look around 8:00 am this morning.
A few doggie walking muggles were also enjoying the trails.
I wandered around until they cleared the area.

Back at GZ it took me all of two minutes to located the cache container Smile
And another minute to open it Big Grin

TFTC and the only [blue]unknown[/blue] cache I have encountered this month of August Big Grin
There are not many outback !!

I stopped by GZ this afternoon, but I think the midday heat after a long mountain bike ride may have addled me cache senses [:o]
I couldn't find a trace of a cache after 15 minutes of poking around Sad

I need a puzzle cache find to claim the August Souvenir !!
So I guess I will be back tomorrow for another look with a fresher mind Razz

A very nice walk to GZ and then I started to search in further more obvious spots but to no avail. Went back to GZ and thought a bit and there it was. Have never seen that cache container before so that was a bit of entertainment too. A lot of fun and very glad to have chosen this as one of a few caches I will do while visiting Alice from WA

Travelling around Australia, and we are now camped at the showgrounds in Alice Springs.

A short drive around the area to pick up a few caches, before we head north.
Our second attempt at this cache, and we were happy to add our name to the log.
Many thanks for placing this cache, redcenterdazza, for us and others to find.

This cache gave me a bit of grief. The puzzle was reasonably straight forward however the coords had me running around like a headless chook. After thinking of where it could be - I STILL couldn't find it. Fotuantely I was able to chat with some of the folk at the WWFM earlier that day who enlightened me.

We had visited this area earlier in the day and we searched for this cache without success. We arrived back and proceeded to look in some less obvious spots .... with success. Definitely trust the GPS coordinates. We had given some thought to the required code and were rewarded with access to the cache log.

Watched the sun go down over the ranges from this spot. What great bike track.

My first puzzle cache, solved the clue easily.

[Blue]# 9751 Found on the NT leg of our S.K.I.D.R.O. adventure.[/Blue]
Another drive around the north side while staying in Alice Springs for a few days.
Solved the puzzle before arrival and had to search around at GZ.
Hardly any cachers or muggles around at the moment and a good safe hide. Wink
Thanks for the cache redcenterdazza,

Oh yea just love that empty log to sign . picked up the missing piece on the first read through. New ccoords are spot on and what an interesting container . My first *{ftf}* in many months and that one was 500kms from home. This beats it by 1500km nice simple puzzle. TFTC

Got code ok but can't find anything to enter code into Sad
we didn’t have any luck finding this one, we worked out the code OK but we found nothing at GZ to use the code on. We decided to climb to a nearby hill and search around under rocks, we extended our search wider, going down the hill all the way to the bottom without any luck. After a long search we had to let this one go.
