With 4 recent DNFs we have decided to temporarily disable this cache and LIPT 29 so we can replace both caches.
A day of Caching with Geevesy. This was to be our first of (we hoped) many. Even with a little help from the gentleman who came out of his house and said "Have you got it? That's where the geo cache normally is." we were unable to find it. It may have just been our looking (or lack of) that we missed it. Came home and told Platyfly of our adventures and he gave a bit more detail on how to find this one and also said we should have phoned a friend. Hopefully we just missed it and it is still there. Will have to try this one again in the future.
Disappointed to have a DNF this afternoon. The neighbourhood dog didn't seem to like our presence and the muggle owner came to shhh it.
Well geohubby and I had an errand to do down in Albian Park Rail. I had not been feeling well and he thought some geocaching would pick me up. He was so right! When we got our android tablet out to see where some caches were, we found we could use only the GPS but could not access any information or hints about the cache...so we just had to rely on our geosense. What a great day 8 from 8! Our best yet. In the middle of this we went to "The ANZAC spirt" display at Wollongong Uni...fantastic!!! This was our second. We had not planned to go this far around the lake, but muggles were at the other spot we picked. Nice short walk along the lake, with beautiful views. Did not take long to find, again with the keen eye of geohubby, thank goodness as the sun was VERY hot. Thanks
This was number two for the day and we had no intention of coming to this cache at the start of the day. Circumstances intervened and The Geo Missus and myself decided to cruise around and check it out. The day was hot and the lake offered a welcome cooling breeze.
Our only guide was the map. We could not access any previous logs or hints. A nice little cammo job. I am not sure if we found it in its orininal hiding spot.
We were going to do a few more around the lake edge but we were called away to view the ‘ANZAC Spirit’ exhibition at the University of Wollongong. Very worthwhile visiting if you get the chance. I am not sure if the exhibit is touring.

Had a bit of a hunt around but with wedding clothes on, it was a bit tricky to do much hunting in this area.
Not sure about eye level ... but eye damage ... take care around this plant Lomandra as its shape.. co ordinate's on the mark ...thanks The Neighbs ... Left a little courage..
Easy we were walking and there it was sitting there in a army cup thing Tyson strik and mia strik 2.9
TFTC,
We decided to ride the southern side of the lake today.
1st find for today.
Need to get numbers up so that I can make GC4G0Y4 my 3000th find before we go to WA and the NT next month. 68 to go.
Visited trackables picking up miles.

Today we started out hoping to get good numbers for Wazza9 to achieve his aim to reach 3,000, the start of our big day. Thanks The Neighbs for the cache being in place after 3 DNF's.

Cycled part way round the lake and back. Tried for this one on the way out but muggle mower was watching us so scored the cache on the way back.
We have a poor gps that landed us 20m away. We found it though thanks to the clues. A windy day on the lake. We have added a photo with Evan the tb. Tftc
We came down from Sydney to spend the weekend camping at Killalea State Park. We have been there several times before, and like the place. Saturday we dedicated to geocaching in Shellharbour, Albion Park and surroundings. It was a hot day, with temperatures reaching 32 degrees.
These cache was quickly found, signed and replaced in the same location.

Reperio at 1425.
Came down from Newcastle this morning ahead of the 10K Milestone event for The Rats this weekend, and today I had the chance to do a few Illawarra caches. Parked at the nearby parking area and enjoyed the nice stroll to GZ. Arrived to find the cache safe and sound, but being so exposed to muggles everywhere here, it's not surprising this cache grows legs and goes wandering. Nice view across the water here.

We have conducted maintenance on this cache and replaced it with a similar container. Hopefully, the lady behind will leave this one alone.
The cache owners replaced this one, while I started looking for "Birdie at Central" - just around the corner. I was told the cache was ready and soon had it in hand. I hope this one lasts. TFTC The Neighbs
The kids had a party not far from here so they decided to try this one. Unfortunately a lady whose house band onto the lake told us she was suspicious of the activity she had viewed from her house and had taken the cache to the police before finding out what it was. So the cache is currently at the local police station.
As our cache is spending some time in the local lock up, we will disable and construct a new cache to hide. Hopefully, now that the home owner knows what it is, the second one might be safe from curious neighbours.
I love it when the WEEO says he will go one way and I go the other and find the cache first. Nice walk area, TFTC.
The piece of the structure the cache is attached to is no longer attached to the structure but still in position.

Took a day off work so here I am dodging showers & finding caches. Felt a bit exposed here. The lake was looking very calm today despite the storms we've had. SL TFTC The Neighbs
After a few days of non caching I got the ole Geo itch again. Early morning start threw the trusty Mountain Bike in the back of the Geo truck and headed down the thin black line South. With a aim to find some caches along the Lake Illawarra Power Trail Series and others of opportunity The ground is so wet that I’ll have feet like prunes by the time I finish. Great cache, TFTC
Cache needs reattaching to original place. It still available to find and log. Message sent to CO.

Decided to find another LIPT or two this afternoon before the storm hit. Approached GZ and looked around, noting the clue. Oh the cache was on the ground. I did the necessary and refitted it and put it back (No cache creep). TN Left a small craft item, SL. TFTC The Neighbs.
TFTC and thank you for the great location. Caches like this make it a worthwhile activity.
We were on our way to the geocaching event with Liz and Bruce & we stopped to find a few caches on the way.
The LIPT trail has led us to some amazing sights & a good variety of caches.
Thanks The Neighbs

Armed with our gps, lunch and pathtags we headed off with Bill and DiMorgan to get in some caching and attend the nearby event. We loved the scenery and enjoyed finding this cache. What an awesome area to go caching in. Thanks to The Neighbs
Had to be quick, many muggles, short gaps. Wildlife, view, lucky neighbours. TFTC.
