Easy find in a really lovely place with thunder in the background on a warm summers eve.Tftc
WOO HOO - I found 'A Different View of Town' today. Thanks JedWilko for setting up and maintaining this one, it certainly is a great view of Orbost. I did do a little head scratching to start with and I read back through other logs before the well hidden cache was spotted, the log was signed and I was off.PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my great caching adventures today.
Found It!Well I found the throw-down from the previous visitor. Hope that's ok.TFTC
Wattle you do when the log book and container are beyond repair? Replace them! Cache is good to go with a brand new container and log book. BYO pen!
After having given up on it and driven off, after reading all the comments we came back determined,!! The clue makes sense when you know what 3 things to look for, despite its containers, the log is to wet to sign very well hidden tftc
So sad this cache is so waterlogged. I went to sign the log but realised it would have destroyed it. I'm not sure if the sun rise ever happens over the town but a magnificent sunset up here on opposite side on April 1st, stayed to watch it set. Tftc.
This one needs attention! Very soggy and unable to write in physical log. With Nato666 and Geokid Loki.
Scratched my head when the GPS settled, then what I'd read, "twigged". Found the container in good condition and soon had us logged.
Thanks Jedwilko for this placement.

On my third visit here. Unable to understand the hint, but, after discussing with a friend, came back today with something firmly in my mind. Ended up doing quite a bit of gardening, without success.
I contacted the previous finder, and this led to the discovery. Wouldn't that rock you!
It's wet again. Dried out and supplied new log sheet in plastic bag.
Thanks for the help Helen, and thanks for bringing me to the view, Jedwilko.

Found the piece of camouflage that has dislodged itself from the cache. The camouflage gave us an idea of the type of hide we were looking for, it still took quite a bit of hunting to find it. The cache was full of water and is no longer waterproof because of the detached piece of camo. We put a piece of paper in a mint tin then put that in the cache container but this cache needs some serious maintenance.
Nice hide tftc! Very well hidden, took a few minutes, great view of orbost! Hide in great condition, someone replaced the paper.
With spot on co-ordinates the cache was found quickly.

From the nearby "Bunker" cache,
I thought I would take a short cut via 'Scouts Road' to reach this cache
Didin't that turn out to be a bit of 4WD fun
After some ups 'n' downs,
and a tricky little creek crossing,
I arrived back at the edge of civilisation again here
Where after a goodly 10 minutes of looking,
I failed to find the cache
But it has to be here !!
So what does the clue mean ??
Well if you work that out then you find the cache
The clue wasn't really relevant today,
as the scenery has shifted,
but it could only mean one thing !!
And sure 'nuff I poked a spot that I had ignored,
and there was the cache
In all its damp beauty
At least the logbook is dry [^]
TFTC and a great view out over towne [^]

TFTC. Found this well hidden cache today, it was a bit damp inside as lid has broken off the top, dried out and cleaned dirt from hide, had fond memories of this area when courting my wife, we have been married 49 years this month

Today we explored Orbost and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. Took some time but Mrs "T" worked out where the cache woud be and made the find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Not sure of the legitimacy of this hide so not giving a favourite even though it deserved it. Even though a new fence thought I would have a look and it had nothing to do with the fence and a quick find was made. Nice spot. Container full of water and saturated so have turned upside down th drain and dry a bit. Tftc tnln
SE coast and mountain trip November 2015. I failed to make the right connections here, I hope it is all safe for the next finder.
Thanks.

Attempted this one at night but couldn't find the cache or make head nor tail of the clue.
Interesting clue but made sense once spotted. But the cache was full of water and the log a slimy black mess in a bag of black water. Put Ina replacement log and caught the bag in the thread of the cache in the hope it stays dry. Thanks for the drive but no views today in the rain and fog.
There might well be a town out there but you would not know it today. Could only see fog, must and rain. As Becon said we dried the cache and put in a fresh log. TFTC
Have got to say this one nearly stumped us. Very clever and a big relief to hear those lovely words "I've got it" took the travel bug. Managed to sign the log but it is deteriorating with the dampness. A favorite from us for this tricky one.
Found on the way to Raymond cheek falls on Melbourne Cup day.
Stopped here for a cuppa and to find the cache
Found the cache had a little bit of water in it.
Cleaned out some of the wet swag and dried it out container.
The log book has some mould on it, it might be ok.
I also replaced the zip lock bag.
I have also dropped off a travel bug.
Thank you for the cache JedWilko.

Took the opportunity of a sunny public holiday to go out to Raymond Creek Fall. Found cache on-route.
Yep this one took us quite some time to find. We were about to give up when L Man (5yrs old) stumbled across it. The cache is extremely wet. TFTC certainly a good challenge.
Not much of a view of town today due to low lying cloud. Thanks for bringing us here and the hide, we enjoyed it.
We are staying at the Orbost caravan park and once we got our settled we headed off to find a few caches. This was one we targetted and found. Fav point alloc. Thanks to JedWilko.
Found with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. Great views from up here. The farmer must have been having his day of rest (Sunday) as his tractor was in the paddock, but nobody was in sight. Love the idea of this one. Had us looking and thinking-what could it be? Giving this a favourite. I love something different, but with spot on co-ords. Well done! Container was damp, so wiped it out with a cloth. Left friendship braid. TFTC
What an excellent cache - I am giving this one a favourite. The idea is terrific, had us thinking 'outside the box' for awhile.

This was the third visit to this cache. Twice before we found the farmer working on his fence right nearby, so drove past. Today the coast was clear to search for this sneakily hidden cache. It's a lovely spot.
