Thanks Tas_Community for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, TTR NDB, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #2285 at 10:21 on 9/11/2024. Nice little roadside stop. Found it after a quick search. Note is a little wet.
This was a nice little roadside stop on our way to our next overnight stop in Churchill. Very interesting info. TFTC
Tasmania Trip Day 9. My second day caching out of Hobart was more counties to the south and East of Hobart. It was a cold drizzly day that got even worse as I went south. The highlight was the cave south of Port Arthur. I slowly worked my way back through the other counties and managed to see quite a few great small town along the way. I arrived back into town quite late in the afternoon and only did one more LAB set around town before finding somewhere to have dinner. I went back to the motel and did some logging and preparing for tomorrow. This was one of quite a few drive bys I stopped for today and was able to find. No trains came past while I was in the area or alongside the railway line. Thanks for the cache Tas_Community46032.32 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Ballarat Geotour 3 A#521**Albida**
Find nice and quickly The description made it quite confusing but we got there Thankyou for the cache
I found an appropriate place to park as I was driving past and after a short walk made a quick find. I appreciated the information included in the cache description. Another advancement in daily knowledge.
What an interesting cache! Initially, I assumed it was going to be train related! With a son training to become pilot, this greatly interested me! Thanks! Favourite from me!
Out and about with RoadieM today. We got a bit confused as to the location of this one as a building that was on the graphic on the iPhone was missing??. Anyway, finally managed to drive up a side track and went right to it. TFTC.
tassietan and I are having a caching day out hoping to get enough points to scale Mt Kilimanjaro.
This one had us scratching our heads a bit. Seems that the structure has been demolished.
Oh well, the cache was still there
Thanks for the cache.

A quick find on the way to Baskerville races.
A frosty approach to this one but at least your boots don't get wet compared to walking through long wet grass.
Thanks.

Quick find once I saw the hint quick find on our way to the wildlife sanctuary. This cache ticks off this county so TFTC.
Making sure i couldn't hear any trains i walked to this one from the correct side without crossing any tracks
Knowing my luck a cop would be approaching if i crossed the tracks lol [B)]
SL at 12:05 on Wednesday 5 May 2021 and re-hid as found. The log within is dry
No trains or planes but lots of cars but i chose the quietest moment to retrieve and replace the booty [^]

hi wilco (R.I.P.) & Tas_Community, thanks for the cache, and the interesting listing information.
An easy find at GZ, but I did feel a little uneasy on the train tracks, with quite a bit of passing traffic. But, great to see wilco's caches living on.
Today was the last day of my holidays, so after a few appointments and chores this morning, I took a leisurely solo drive via Austins Ferry, Brighton for lunch, then Tea Tree, Campania, Richmond and GrassTree Hill cleaning up my 'unfound' map.
Thanks for contributing to my adventure today; Cheers, EPs.

Found it after a bit of looking because the grass was over grown but put more paper in because log was full and damp

Just completed the last geoart trail that had been our primary targets of an impromptu trip to Tassie, found enough energy to grab a few more PnGs as we headed back to a muggle friend’s for the night. Either read the description properly or make sure you approach from the slip road to the south of GZ (via Briar Banks Rd) and not dart across a busy road and rail-lines as J+J did. Left me shaking my head as I waited in the car where we had pulled up in someone’s drive. After 108 finds, shows we were too tired to look at map more closely, so safely calling it a day now.
Camping at MT Field for a few days, went for a drive today to grab a few caches while touring about. Quick find of the cache, had to race across the tracks and back before the train came along the straight, I could here his horn tooting in the distance, he already spotted me on his tracks earlier today at another cache.

My holiday companions decided a feast of oysters and prawns was a fitting way to end the Hobart leg of our lap of Tasmania but since I'm not partial to seafood, I opted for a country drive into counties that I haven't cached in.
This was my Brighton find ... a straightforward one once I'd figured out where best to park. Interesting to learn about NDBs and how they help pilots ... and to see one in place.
Thanks to the local geocaching community for keeping this cache alive.

Thoroughly enjoying our week of Tasmanian geocaching adventures. Today finds us exploring the Derwent Valley. This is a lovely find in a cute location. TFTF. Be careful of the active railway crossing!
Well we almost drove right up to this little cache and with its very specific hint was an easy find. Thanks Tas_Community for enlightening me on the NDB, wouldn't have come across that information other than for caching
Nice to find this Ndb site. But Il did not see the wire bête en the 2 poles. Is it still ïn use ?

Tassie Trip Day 61 - It was a lovely day for a drive and after going for the shopping it was soon decided to travel out to the lovely little town of Jerico then on to the lovely town of Oatlands returning via Campania and Tee Tree it was a great little dive yeilding 15 finds and 1 DNF for the day.
After a great day caching just one more to end the day however at the GZ location it was obvious that the previous DNFs mean that there was no where left to hide the cache the bottome of the post in the hint has no stones or anything but a bit of grass at its base.
Thanks for bring us here wilco however a little bit of maintenance is need.
