Akirey and I visited in April and May New Zealand. First we decided to look around on the South Island including Steward Island then we went to the North Island.
All the time we enjoyed our trip. We saw a lot of sweet animals, amazing landscapes and met many nice people.
Also we searched for some caches. This one was one of them.
Thanks for hiding and greetings from Frankonia

We are down on the coast for the weekend and had a message to do in Hokitika so naturally some geocaching was included.
As I was attempting to find this one I got poked near the eye so retreated and left Hazedarus to make the find.
Thank you minime850.

We looked South from GZ but the sky was a bit murky. So no views of Mt Cook today. We did sight the shiny new replacement log and signed it with grandson Noah. Thank you Minime850
We stopped and had lunch here (yummy scones - Thanks!) so a logbook replacement was a pretty cheap lunch. All good to go again with the addition of a second container to help keep the logbook dry.
Found it, but not quite where it obviously should be, so placed back in its perch. Sadly, the log book is saturated.
Late logging a very wet log - Found on a fantastic Sth Island trip - thanks for bringing me here
November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days, rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.
But now we are in NZ. Early sunrise, mighty green and flowers everywhere. Happy cows and sheeps also. We delight look forward to such lovely challenge. Thank you NZ. Greetings from Germany, from the mountains of Harz. TFTC

There was a kid playing on the grass opposite of the cache... I waited for him to be distracted by something and then went to GZ, where I found.. the hiding place (no doubt about it), but it was empty... no cache...

6799. Back out Hokitika way today from our base at Kumara. This was so we could do the Treetop Walk. (What a great experience!) Decided to do some geocaching while driving around the area. This was cache number eight of fifteen finds for the day. Did this once back in Hokitika. Easy find. Don't usually like caches on private property, no matter what is said about permission, but this one was fine, and very quick. Nicely set up cache. Put some trinkets in for the girls. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
It’s road trip time!!!
Heading off to the West Coast to enjoy some sightseeing, geocaching and catch-up-times with some awesome friends from the North Island (allaboutthatcache, gonna cache em all, and Biartch79). Travelling from Punakaiki down to Queenstown, with stop-overs in Hokitika and Fox Glacier, before the trip home to Timaru. Had such an awesome time seeing the sights of our beautiful country. I feel so privileged to call this place “home”.

In Hokitika for our niece's first communion. Out for a bit of fresh air before lunch. Cache spotted by Kelly. TNLN SL TFTC.
Nice & snuggly in its little protective shelter. Quick find for Annie once we confirmed that it was OK to be in the location. TFTC
A quick find on a winters tour down the West Coast. The weather is great (though cool), and the scenery fantastic. What a beautiful country we live in. Put the log in another bag, getting damp. Thanks for the hide.
Quite wet inside I had to pour water from the container and the baggy has leaked and the log is soaked.
Seems there has been some major pruning going on here, had a quick look for cache, but felt rather intrusive
Driving from Franz Josef to Christchurch today and grabbed some caches along the way. Quick find. Signed log. TFTC!
Holidaying in the South Island, grabbing a few caches on the way. Early morning find while in Hokitika. Thanks for the cache.
A quick easy find, although surprisingly there was water in the cache, despite its cover. There was no way we were going to see Mt Cook today. TFTC

Unfortunately there were no views of Mt Cook today but after visiting this cache I know that I will now remember which direction I need to look. A cool hide. Thanks.
13081… Was hoping to get a view of Mount Cook but Lifes Got To Have Boundaries, so settled on locating your nicely hidden cache instead, many thanks.
We also were looking in the wrong place when neighbour came out, she was worried it was on her property as she had been told it was, she was a nice muggle and after we found it put her mind at rest not on hers. TFTC, nicely hidden
I made the mistake of believing the GPSr and spent quite a while searching in the wrong place trying to keep out of view of the little dog that would bark every time it saw me. I was just about to give up when I decided to look in another place and there it was right before me. Duh! Signed log, TFTC
[blue]Day 18 of our 31 Days of Caching Challenge.[/blue] After I hurt my knee yesterday I wasnt in any mood for a long walk so this P&G was just right for the day. It was a beautiful sunny drive to Hokitika and after signing the log I thought it might be rude not to stop in to say hello. Took trackable tag. Thanks for the cache
YAY!! Our first FTF!!!
