Couldnt leave my find count on 7 so came down to find one I had been eyeing for a while. Made a quick find at GZ and sat on the bench to sign the log. Tftc.

Chooo ooo [Found] on a caching invasion of Bathurst! Log signed CBI24!Thanks Apsley168!
Tankengine, Youban and I left Canberra just after lunchtime on Friday and drove straight to Bathurst. We had solved many of the puzzles or at least started the solves before coming. We were looking forward to finding many smilies this weekend and hanging out with our friends. We met up with our friends and signed caches as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024). The group included Fitzy_1965, Minniek, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, GLISS!, Tankengine, Youban, Contesta, Domsky, TikvaNZ, Isopeada, Barb2e, and SmittenGranny. We had an awesome dinner at the Kelso Hotel Bistro Friday night. And attended the ever changing event on Saturday night at The Reckless Brewery Co. Breakfast was at a couple of cafes that were all good and lunches wherever we could find it. Our little cabin at the NRMA Paramount caravan park, where there was just enough space for all three of us (just). We slept ok, but the leaky taps needed attention. We had an awesome time and would love another chance to visit Bathurst again another day. This cache: Its pretty nice down along the river. Quick find here. Tftc!!!
A weekend of fun with a group of Canberra cachers. The weather was beautiful, cold and clear with little wind and it was a perfect day to be out walking and exploring and enjoying a winter weekend in Bathurst. We signed the logs as CBI24 ( Canberra-Bathurst Invasion 2024)Thanks for all the adventures and efforts to create some fun hides for the Geocaching community. Domsky
Find # 124517/7/2024 09:21Caching adventures continue, plans were hatched at the dinner event last night, word got around, and with some trustee like-minded souls we assembled at the chequered flag start line for a lap of Mt Panorama - KittyKatch, Joolay, fitzy_65, mimmiek, TikvaNZ, isopeda, dty73, FurfacesLL, domsky, Youvan, Barb2e, Tankengine. Signing CBI24 for Canberra Bathurst Invasion Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun!All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks Apsley168 for Mossy

Second time in a few weeks trying to find this one but unsuccessful yet. Will try again another day
Day 12 of our west to east adventure - Narrandera to Bathurst this leg. Dinner and a walk by the river was just what the Dr ordered after another days driving. This was a quick pickup along the way. TFTH Apsley168
TFTCFirst time doing Parkrun Bathurst and thought wed explore a little.Awesome spot to revisit too.
i decided to have a walk along the macquirie river into town, and also do the adventure lab 1815 to learn some history while about it.it was a short walk from my accomodation next door at the showgrounds. my first find of thirteen for the day, but that's also including six adventure lab virtual caches.found in the logical spot, not where the hint said.thank you apsley168 for hiding a cache along the banks of this sometimes mighty river.this is total find number 4604
Travelling with icu and it's his birthday today. Had a bbq lunch in park then a short walk to this cache. TFTC
I found it! I loved it! A favourite point from me. Today I turned a sad blue face into a happy yellow one!!!!!
Lovely spot on the river on a chilly morning. In town for work for the week and came out for a stroll before heading back to Sydney. Nice unusual micro!

Was out and about in Bathurst today, so decided to go in search of this one. Arrived at GZ to find the cache a little higher placed than indicated in the log, but the camo is still attached well enough to hide it within its hidey hole. Lovely park area here.

Sneaky, raound and round numerous times, its not linger down low, I guess the it survived the floods but has lost its camo. Beautiful park.
Staying in Bathurst, we took a stroll along the Macquarie River this morning. There were quite a few caches along the way to keep me occupied. This one was found quickly and easily.
I could see this but was not game to touch it as it looked reptillian and there are signs warning of snakes everywhere.
I found it on the ground… I wonder if the local magpie is taking it and dumping it?!
Tftc a gorgeous spot

Found it laying on the ground.. forgot to take a pencil to sign the log. Lovely walk along the river.
Having had a message that part of this cache was missing, I’ve just been and replaced it.
Out for a walk around the river loop today when I was reminded about a geocache in the area. We decided to take the opportunity as no muggles were in sight. We read the hint and the cache was found quickly by my Geo-friends. We realised we didn’t have a pen, so we took a photo of the log and replaced the cache in its position. I will go back at a later date and sign the cache. This was a good find as I had been looking for this cache for quite a while. TFTC
Found after work at dusk, still quite a few dog walkers around, but easy enough to let them pass. Once at GZ the hint meant there were only a few places to look. Cool idea and log in good condition. TFTC.
I’ve just been and checked this cache and found it was missing, so I’ve replaced it and it’s good to go.
How unusual anther one in Bathurst missing..think some maintenance is required in the whole area
No luck with this one today, even after lookin the checking the hint and past logs. TFTC
We had a good search around but no luck at all here today.
I notice that everybody has recently found it. Just too good for me today.
Thanks

# 7500 In Bathurst with iPlod65 for a weekend of socialising, parkrun and geocaching of course. The weather hasn't been great, but we got a minor repreive on Sunday with some sun for the first time.
I was last here back in April but only grabbed a few. Good to be back to reclaim some DNFs and see some more of the micro-capital of the central west.
Another un-DNF which is pleasing. Pretty sure it was MIA last time.
Thanks Apsley168

I had tried to find this cache many times. Each time my GPSr took me up to the concrete wall, which is a long way off course. With the changed hint it definitely became a little easier, however I think the difficulty of 2 is well understated. The camo is what sets this cache apart from most caches; well done cache owner, for an excellent challenge. Gets a favourite from me. Replaced as found.
I've checked on this and despite the numerous DNF's, I found it still in place.
I've updated the hint, so maybe that might help.

This cache has alluded me many times and it's starting to give me the _ _ _ _ _. ( <- a bad case of diarrhoea). I am starting to question my ability to remain a geocacher. Perhaps the hint re Mossy is missleading Hum...
Last day of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are heading home, leaving Bathurst and heading down south via the AL on Mt Panaorama. Warm clear conditions again today, unlike north of the border
Didn't find this one. Suspect it might be washed away.
Thanks anyway Apsley168

Has a good look around but I think this night have washed away in the recent flooding. Can see the tree hollow where it must have been. Nothing in there now.
Checked on this a few days ago and found it was missing. I’ve just replaced it and it’s good to go.
Please replace camo so that it lasts.

We looked high and low mossy trees and in the trees will have to look harder next time
We thought we knew what we were looking for but to no avail. Hopefully next time. TFTC
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
Today we went for a wander around the Bathurst CBD, completing the Adventure Lab and collecting numerous other caches along the way. After returning to camp for lunch and a swim we headed out in the late afternoon for some caching in the Raglan area, which turned out to be a bit of a disaster with 4 DNF's in a row and only 1 find - we should have stayed in the pool!
Stopped at this one along the AL route, but failed to locate the cache. We couldn't afford to waste too much time on it so we moved on fairly quickly. TFTH anyway Apsley168.

I just could not locate this one today. I checked all the spots I could think off.
Caching with Tatt2squared and Viper_101... Glad we found it, this is the 3rd time we have been here. TFTC
Found in the company of Key_Tat and Viper_101... with the team splitting up as half had to work, we are visiting the family in Bathurst. We decided to try an avenge this DNF. This is our 3rd time here, and we had spoken to previous finder who had told us where to look. We looked, it was not there. Muggle Grandad got involved and still no luck. Finally Viper_101 shouted the magic words ‘Found it’. Not where we were told it was, but all good, log signed and we’re done! Super relieved to turn this blue to a happy yellow. TFTC
Caching with Tatt2squared and Key_Tat...Mum and Dad have been looking for this one for a while now, but I was the one who finally got it this time. TFTC
Seems so.eone has been walking this are destroying caches, have fixed up the last couple that have been along the river
Found but I'm guessing someone purposely moved it cause canister was apart and chucked on the ground near by
Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 1. I joined forces with Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for another visit to Bathurst and the surrounding area to visit new caches and try to find caches we have all managed to not find on previous visits. It was an overwhelmingly successful trip where we all managed to find some nemesis caches that stretch back several years and many trips to the region. Despite the cold we camped each night and had a most enjoyable weekend now we are allowed out to roam a bit further.
Thanks for the cache Apsley168
