Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

I notice from one or more log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of some help - **there appears to be a need for owner intervention.**

Therefore, the cache is being temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) I cannot see any log that indicates a recent visit by the CO to this cache.

If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by **28th September,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 28th September). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) the cache on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Seems to be missing.

16-Aug-18
It’s been over a year in a very busy location since this one has been found. No response from the Needs Maintenance 2mths ago. Time for this one to go, as the CO may be gone along with the cache.

04-Jun-18
Can CO check to make sure this is still there as a previous finder has indicated it wasn't where they last saw it.

04-Jun-18
This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing.

19-May-18
Was around this part of campus for the first time in a while (normally don't venture further than the Roundhouse ) so decided to scout it out. Hint made sense and a few likely hiding spots were spotted.

Unfortunately I was wearing bright colours and so discreet searching wasn't a possibility. Will return under the guise of darkness

01-Mar-18
Could not find. Even with a tall person

26-Jan-18
Didn't find it where it use to be. It might have been muggled... can CO confirm?

12-Nov-17
Searched for this for sometime but cane up with nothing. Maybe the CO could check this

12-Nov-17
No luck today tried a few options and came up short. Will keep an eye on it.

13-Aug-17
I checked everywhere but could not find it I jumped up onto roofs and scampered along air vents but couldn’t find it. Another couple where there when we got there and they gave up also.

16-Jul-17
Sneaky hiding place. It's covered making it harder.

Holy crap. Ninja skills. Doing this during uni hrs, you have to be quick. TFTC.

25-Apr-17
If this is where I think it is....and I think it is - NOPE not doing that.

11-Mar-17
I had to be absolutely sure about this one before I made the jump. My 52 year old joints don't do things like they used to. TFTC.

27-Jan-17
If i was fit I would parkour to this cache

26-Jan-17
Read previous logs and kind of knew where I had to be. I arrived at GZ and did the leap of faith and saw what I needed. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Cool hide! Thanks to the CO.
Clan Venter joined us on this one.

First visit to Australia, visiting our oldest daughter who lives in St Ives, Sydney. What a wonderful country! We are having the most beautiful weather. Reminds us of South Africa, our homeland.

Such a beautiful area.
Thanks for the adventure.

Greetings from South Africa.

15-Jan-17
This one wasn't easy but fun du search. Thank you.

14-Jan-17
This hiding place could be found well and quickly, since holiday season is and no Muggle were on site. With patience we could explore the terrain and find the cache. Unfortunately the container could not be opened since this is probably inside rusted ...!?!? As proof I make a logfoto. TFTC say Moorhelmi

The secret society really know all the secret spots around the uni. Standing on the grassy knoll, I checked a few places around that really didn't match the hint. After scratching my head, I eventually tried a different level and my GPS was getting closer to zero. Then I realised what the rest of the hint meant and with a leap of faith I had CIH. Fortunately it was quiet this arvo, but could imagine that sometimes it could get busy and reaching for it would be near impossible.

Signed and replaced. Then back to where I started. Well hidden from all angles. Even the very tall would have trouble with the reach. TFTC.

Not great spot so exposed. But was fun. Found with Deadaether.

04-Dec-16
That was a tricky one, clever hide. Tftc

12-Sep-16
I did actually find the cache (I even have a picture of the box), but was scared ro be stranded there if I tried to get to it.

Not great for security reasons

04-Sep-16
Thank goodness I am tall! TFTC.

Fathers day afternoon with two geo children in the UNSW. This was the first of our finds which took awhile and thank goodness we had one agile person amongst us. TFTC.

28-Aug-16
That was fun. Managed to find it without the hint. FP
Thanks for the cache

Out and about on a rainy Friday to find a few caches. Big Grin
I soon found an easy approach to this cache. Razz
And it is most definitely a 'regular' sized container as it is larger than 1 litre. Big Grin
Thanks for the cache.

Haven't found a cache this hard in a while , I spent a good half hour just pacing about wondering what I was looking for , since none of the brick-like objects in plain sight were useful , I went up and down several times unable to figure out the clues , then I realized there was still one spot that I haven't looked at , and there it was !!! I personally think it's not the best spot for hiding the cache as the geocacher is mighty exposed to muggles from many directions while retrieving/rehiding it XD

*Overall, easy cache to obtain if your parkour skills are on point , TFTC !*

( Took nothing , left some coins , signed logbook )

25-Jun-16
After reading previous logs, including some DNFs, I figured that obtaining this cache this was going to be a challenge. I arrived at GZ and had a quick search, but nothing seemed to fit the description or hint. The gps had me walking in circles (now I know why), and I was getting nowhere. So I decided on a different plan of attack, based on one word in the hint. Approaching the GZ now got me excited, and I leaned over and had a look. And there I saw the cache poking out from it's hiding place. What - you expect me to get that??!! The cache was a lot bigger than I was expecting, but still a tricky one. PS: some nearby moveable objects may be useful. #185 Wink

Oh my, it has been a while since I've geocached. After a long day at uni, it was time for Quidditch training. I had an hour to spare and though why not look for this geocache that I know is lying around the pool lawn! I must say, it was a difficult one but well executed. Probably not safe for small kids. Luckily it's mid afternoon on a Friday, so no uni muggle students at all! Thanks for the cache!

24-Mar-16
Another pre work cache in the dark at 6.30am. Got to GZ and used the clue as the clock was ticking for me to get to work. Found myself on top of the silver box on the side of the wall then realised that I needed to re-asses. Got to the 'correct' GZ and after searching with my iPhone torch realised I had to climb something else and as soon as I did it was CIH! Didn't sign the log as I had to rush to make it to work on time. Geokids should not attempt this one without an adult present. Quite a good cache as many of the ones i find don't have much thought put into them. Awesome one. TCTC!

16-Mar-16
The first visit was not successful. After reading the logs we returned today and after a while we succeeded. The cache is not so easy.

06-Feb-16
We had a few attempts looking for this one. Finally found it! Hint was useful! Thanks for the cache.

10-Jan-16
Geokids were right on the ball, a bit hard for them to reach though

Australia Tour 15/16 - Brisbane => Sydney => Melbourne => Adelaide => Brisbane
by Nadine 1989 & Martin major

After our first part with the spaceship-car we visited Sydney with the famous Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. A nice city with a mass of tourist but it was not impossible to find some nice caches in the city.
In the few days we visited so many caches that it is not possible to write a personal logbook entry to each cache. Thank you for your work and effort to hide this cache.

We decided to do all six tradis on the campus in the morning before we fly to Melbourne because we stayed in one of the colleges. Thankfully we found all of them and some are very special. We had lots of fun and really enjoyed these caches.

This is a great cache! We looked around was thinking about it and we finally spot this cache. We had so much luck that nobody was around. Lovely!

15-Dec-15
No luck for me ... it didn't help that I was on the way back to the airport with a trolley suitcase. There seemed to be some temporary fencing blocking off the top of the staircase.

07-Dec-15
Stepped around the poorly-placed wire barrier and looked under some likely spots, but only spotted a spider trekking out for the night's hunting. Will try again when there's daylight.

17-Nov-15
This didn't look very easy. We found the knoll and being 6 feet tall I could glimpse the cache in the likely spot. Unfortunately there is some construction work going on at present and gates are strapped up with cable ties in an effort to keep us humans out. But cachers aren't normal human.....as you all know! so I clambered around some barriers and attacked the GZ. It was midday on a cracker sunny Sydney day and not too many juggles about. For two gray haired kiwis it was surprising how little attention was paid to us wandering the campus, GPS in hand, pointing, nodding, changing direction at a moments notice. All good stuff.....love it. Thank you cache owner...a favourite from us kiwis.

Had a quick look at this one last week, while picking up some other caches around UNSW, but returned today for a more serious look. When I was last here the lecture room close to GZ was occupied and, having deduced where the cache was most likely located, I knew that a quieter time was required for cache retrieval.

Today, being a Saturday, the uni was much quieter and GZ was totally deserted. Before actually going to GZ I found the spot that other cachers had been using to “spy” the cache from afar, with plenty of telltale signs of previous geo pondering. I too stood and confirmed that my deduction had been correct, spying the distant prize and realising what was required to retrieve it.

Proceeded to the spot where I had previously been under the watchful eyes of many students and, after taking that infamous “leap of faith”, finally arrived at GZ. Retrieved and opened the nice big kitchenware container, signed the log book, and replaced as found. TNLN.

And then, with not a muggle in sight, I quickly extracted myself from GZ before anyone noticed that there was somebody in a place that they probably shouldn’t be in.

Thanks Thesecretsocietyunsw for such an audacious hide. Worthy of a favourite point for the experience.

I'm hardly ever in this area of the city, but was last night. However, I was called home early before I had the opportunity to grab this one.

Amazingly I had a legitimate excuse Smile to come back again last night. Scoped out the area, and contemplated a lot of options, from every possible angle. In the end, I was a little surprised at where it was - but a great spot.

28-Sep-15
I really really really like this cache!!! First trying to search the area for a while but didn't find it. And then I decided to step back to think about the possible location, and just a glance I saw it! Well I read some logs beforehand saying they use a chair, and then I realized that yes a chair is really helpful! And you know what I left my pen cap at the cache, and then I have to go back again to pick it up! So much fun! Thanks for the cache!

27-Sep-15
Phew! Had to psyche up for this one. But the reward was worth it. It's nice to see good size caches around here. Thanks for the cache and the adrenaline rush!

#2256 (7 of 15 today)

It's Oz Comic-con time again, and so I needed to deliver Geoson #2 to the door at White Bay so he could work on one of the stands.
This meant an early start in an area I don't cache in that often, so despite the fact I've been very light on Saturday finds recently - evening up finds on each day of the week (still lots of work to do on that though) - i decided to go for a lot of finds today. In particular, I was looking at one puzzle I'd finally solved a little while ago and an assault on my old alma mater the UNSW.

In the end I got 15 finds amid a few DNFs and a "can't get this to work" multi.
A good day.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
And this took me so long, even though I considered GZ early on I immediately dismissed it.
25 minutes later and so many possibilities eliminated I bit the bullet - used a chair actually - and checked the right spot.
CIH!

This really is one for night or a weekend, isn't it.
Luckily on a Saturday morning there were few muggles in this area to worry about.

Completed signing duties and replaced.
A favourite point for the audaciousness of it!

After dropping out girls off to a concert in the area we figured we'd look for a few caches. Took us awhile looking around here and there with no luck. Hubby spotted what he thought was the cache but I thought it was far too dangerous to hide a cache like that. It wasn't the cache like he thought but when he was leaving the area he spotted the cache immediately. Great hide!

Cache is in position - thanks to those who have returned it to its original hiding spot.

That was fun! Here I am the nanny, trying to set a good example Smile From the description, I had a TOTALLY different scenario going in my head. I'll have to try it on one of my own caches Smile Didn't take anything, not much in there, tho there should be. Added some stuff, granted, Granny the Nanny here, so it's kid stuff but hey Smile Visiting from Oregon.

Cool cache, had to come here at around 3am but the final find was worth it.
Cheers

17-Jun-15
Amazing cache. My first and thoroughly loved it. Took a fun 20 mins to figure out. Advise to do it during night time to avoid suspicious muggle stares. Done with High Sierra and callmekrish23.

Amazing location. Minor jumping ability necessary!

Pondered~High Sierra was ri8~ climbed~ took the leap of faith(Sykamore style)~ 5L~ BPA free cache~Added some food vouchers~ TFTC.

Came over to 'take' my daughter and her friend to Allday at the Roundhouse. Dropped them off and then had a few hours to walk around the Uni. This was the last cache before I headed inside to listen and partake off this Allday fella! I couldn't see anything from the hill, I snooped and snooped and then after reading some other logs I tried something different and was glad it was dark. BAM, sure enough I made the find. SL, TNLN and replaced. Great little hide as long as security isn't looking. TFTC.

TFTC,
Oh how nasty. I have been to GZ so many times now that I feel very comfortable.
And yet every time I have refused to believe it would be where it was.
Being here with Nana nel this time I told her there was only one place it could be and while she believed me, she wasn't going to try. Well it came down to me and giving it my all made the effort. I soon had CIH and shared it with Nana nel. Glad it was Sunday.
Visited a group of trackables.

07-Jun-15
Back again, at least no security guards around the area today. Searched everywhere upstairs downstairs couldn't see any brick. Then we thought it could only be one place, especially with the ratings, I went to have a go and chickened, Wazza9 located it quite quickly. Thanks for the adventure Thesecrectsocietyunsw.

05-Jun-15
Had just dropped a friend off nearby after a night out in the city so thought we'd take a few minutes to grab this cache.

It was a very cold night 6degC at almost 3am so we didn't linger long.

Found the cache, signed and returned to the car to warm up.

A cool spot that is probably better to find late at night due to the unwanted attention you would attract if extracted during the day. Cheers.

Parking 25m from GZ our first challenge was to gain access to the uni. After strolling in the wrong direction to be greeted by a padlocked gate we wandered back in the other direction for an easy passage to GZ. A preliminary search of the indicated area revealed little and after reading the hint decided an adjustment of altitude could be in order. After reading the last finders log a similar leap was under taken, CIH. SL. Enjoyed this little adventure. TNLN TFTC

My geo-gf sent the photo of GZ to me 2 years ago, and told me that she cannot arrive GZ, I told her I will do this for her!

Finally, I am here now. A fav point given for my story and this large box XD

TFTC! Nice hiding place! Greetings from HK~

Want to crack this one so bad two years ago...however I was too short to achieve the mission! This year, my geo-bf is grabbing the cache for me! Tada~~~~~ got it! What a pity the other three caches by the same CO was achived. Love this cache TFTC!

I'd known the location of this one for a quite a few months, as I'd walked past it before but not retrieved - that was rectified with rainbowstar2 today. We can confirm that the cache is where it "should" be, assuming that was its original location. Both the difficulty and the terrain rating probably could be changed. TFTC!

P.S. diandadara, your loom bands are still there! Still not much else, though.

said hello, thought he was going to ask me what I was doing. It was not to be today.

Did a little tour on Campus on this pretty Sunday to finally attend all the caches here. All the caches where fun and a unexpectedly empty campus made all the finds easy.

This was the 5th. Now Luckly realy hardly anyone was around. I scounted the area excluded a few other hiding spots and read a few logs to be sure. Then I did what needed to be done and a minute later all was done and I left a TB coming from Europe for more travels down under.

We found the archived one when it was still active a few years ago and knew roughly where to look glad we did not have to jump like last time. Found with semikosher.

Neither the difficulty, nor the size matched the description, I believe its been replaced.
Either way, thanks for the cache on a rainy morning waiting for the RACI titration competition.

Spent a few hours at UNSW for the Open Day today with eldest geoson, and I convinced and/or cajoled him into looking for a few caches.

This was the closest to the Computer Engineering faculty and once we saw the co-ords were a bit out we gave up. Should have persisted because everyone has said it was not hidden!

30-Aug-14
Parked just off the main drag and scaled the fence, only enough time for this one on the way to work, the crazy things we do.
Took awhile before I had that penny drop moment, then preceded for a quick find, such a large Tupperware makes it hard to miss at GZ. SL and TFTC
