Logs
I had visited this archived cache almost a year ago, and then had a chat with JACS Team (who definitely did not remove the cache). They offered the suggestion of using the provided alternative coordinates from past logs, and as I was in the area today, I thought it was a small time investment to check once again.I remembered the area well, and there were just weeds and growth around with no signs of a cache. The alternative coordinates took me slightly north by 10 m, and there was a fallen log nearby, there didn't seem to be any obvious signs of a cache. Yet again, I concluded that perhaps the cache was still here, or perhaps it has been taken away. Thanks anyway sunshinecacher93 for the cache placement.----------Today, it felt like a mini-marathon of high-Terrain adventure geocaches. The morning commenced with a Bracken Ridge technical tree climb that changed to a ladder ascent, followed by a small handful of fishing TOTT caches, and then a jog into mosquito-infested Tinchi Tamba Wetlands to conquer the [The AuNZmer Challenge](https://coord.info/GCA8HKR) cache. It was then onwards for a paddle in South Pine River catching up with a friendly group as per the [Kayaking South Pine River](https://coord.info/GCABTBE) event.
This afternoon, I had an errand to run towards Bracken Ridge, so once that delivery was made, there was time for a couple of stops before returning home. Stanley Day Park was the main jog of the area, and then it was a final stop at Ewan Place Park.
I was in the area of this archived cache, and as this cache was just off the path, I thought I'd take a look. It was certainly overgrown in the area, and so I did my best to search a few areas under trees and other logical spots like bases of trees. I spent a good 10 minutes looking around, and suspect there may have been an impact from floods, and hence perhaps the cache may still be buried about the place? Also, I wasn't sure if the last finder actually took the cache, or just something within the cache container, as it felt unclear. Perhaps this old cache is still about the place, but no luck for me today. Thanks anyway sunshinecacher93 for the cache placement.

I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

So this has a few thing about that I am interested in. Despite its disable status the cache is still in place just icky as. As the owner hasn’t caches in 4 years is bound to be archived so I am going to snavel the Regular size stay and the other desirable option.
Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

We persevered through the roadworks to get to this cache hoping that we could add in some new paper and fix this one up but when we found the cache we realised we had underestimated the cache state it will need a good bit of maintenance before anyone will be able to sign this one. TFTC
Great cache idea. Just a mud file now... photo attached. No way I could sign!
We got muggled big time here. Sharpem and i were just about to head in when a nice bunch of boys asked us what game we were playing. We said just going for a walk. We then pretended to go for a walk and they followed us and passed us so we headed back to the cache and they came back and had another chat so we left this one. Nice to see kids riding their bikes and enjoying the fresh air
Found. Needed hint & history. . But is rated 3.0, I guess. It has been invaded by some rather large ants who deem it a nice home, had to poke around to find evidence of a cache & used a temporary signing sheet, such is the state of the original. All part of the adventure I guess. & TFTC
It may seem strange, but I was keen for some sort of bush bash today. I'm not sure why, but disappearing into some scrub is strangely calming. I left the bike path looking to follow a geotrail but there wasn't an obvious one. It looked like I was going to get my wish and plundered in through the long grass.
The long grass disappeared and the game changed into dodge the spider webs. The spiders were all small but plenty of webs seemed to come into contact with my face. I found a football in the scrub which I knew was getting a kick on the way out.
When my phone told me I had no more distance to travel, I looked around and spotted ... nothing. Time to start circling and refer to the hint. In the distance I saw something that needed a poke, and poke it I did.
Great cache container and my name was scratched into the wet log. Time to plan my re-emergence from the bush to make sure no one was alerted to my presence. tftc

We found ourselves in this area today and decided to take a short detour in search of a cache while we had a bit of time to spare. The GPS was a bit flaky, but using our geo-senses we soon spied the sneaky cache container. With our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you sunshinecacher93 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy.

10/7/16 Out caching with Marina25 today. As we headed bush a man stopped us to ask if we were searching for Pokémon. I stopped and had a chat whilst Marina25 continued on. I soon headed in and found Marina25 signing the log. nice quick find. TFTC sunshinecacher93
While 14NET talked with a walker about some other outdoors activity app I followed the compass to the spot and found something that I though looked introduced and there it is signed the log just as 14NET joined me TFTC
Found this one on todays tour around to complete the unique T/D challenge.

Very nice cache, haven't seen any other like this so far! Thank you!
Just after the latest rains all area got pretty swamped and log is now soaked with water. Some maintenance would be clearly needed here.

No luck looked around everywhere. To make matters worse I think I arrived at feeding time. Will be back.
Walking down to the train, stopped to look for this. Ah ha, whats that? Thats the geocache. TFTC
Visiting from Geelong for the long weekend. While the relatived rested, I ran, drove and bush bashed around Brisbane for 4 hours.
Arrived here and saw the long grass. Wearing shorts...snakes...cache...worth the risk.
In I went, around in circles, truding through the grass. Then saw something suspicious. Curious minds pay off. Very clever. A big thanks from me!

1856 - My geomobile has been in the repair shop all week costing me a fair bit of money to get repaired. The worst part about it however, is my inability to make that detour home and grab a cache in different areas to continue my streak of finding a cache of the day. So I left work earlier than normal for me this afternoon and when I got home, I got on the pushy and went for a ride to try to find this one. Not long after I left home, quite a steady shower of rain passed over head to cool me down. When I arrived I worked out the best way to approach, and headed in from the east. I left the pushy hidden in some long grass and walked the last 40 or so metres to the search zone. When I was about 10 metres from ground zero I started to look for possible hiding places and straight away found what I was looking for. That was much easier than I had expected. Found in good condition at 5:46pm. Thanks for the cache sunshinecacher93. The coordinates that worked for me today were S 27 19.307 E 153 01.046.
Out with NurseyJulie, picking up a few caches. After failing to find a nearby cahce, we made our way to this one. A short bush bash and we were at GZ. We searched and searched where our phones said but had no luck. We slowly expanded our search area and NurseyJulie spotted something that wasnt quite right. Closer inspection revealed that it was the cache container. We added our names to the logbook, returned everything to where it was found and then continued on our way. TFTC
This certainly was a bush bash. We made our way into the undergrowth about 30m away from the GZ. Lots of potential spots as per the clue. But the GZ said we were right on top of it. But where? So we scoured and expanded our search a little more. Then as I was looking at one spot, I saw that does not quite fit in there.. oh its a little altered too.. and sure enough it was the container. All good inside, a previous cacher had put a new baggy and log. TFTC sunshinecacher93
#34 on my Big Monday of caching adventure.
I appreciated the DT combo on this one a lot because it would save me from a dreadful search through a tree elsewhere. I just hoped it wasn't too tough a bushbash because my legs were starting to get quite sore, I was wearing my emergency shoes and the afternoon was getting on.
I set off down the path, got to the closest point and started bashing. Yep, not too bad. More spiderwebs, a couple more trip-vines, etc. At GZ, I took a few moments to spot something unusual. Ah, haven't seen one of these in ages!
Having studied a few logs, I'd brought some repair and replacement bits and pieces, which I put to use. Unfortunately, the inner container was too small for my sistema, but I could fix up the log situation with no trouble.
TFTC but it would be great if the CO could go and check it out sometime, I reckon.

Desperately in need of maintenance.
As per recent logs the cache has been in poor condition & deteriorating rapidly fo , at least, the past 8 months.
Unfortunately the condition is not good at all.
The outer container is wet & starting to rot.
The inner container has rusted badly.
The log is none existent.
The only contents are a rusty pen.
Photos taken as proof of condition.
CO intervention is desperately needed.

#9 of 16. Today I attempted the unique difficulty terrain challenge. I did not complete the challenge but i did find this great cache.
A good bash!
Today was also a good chance to help fill my fizzy grid and I generally had fun. Thanks for this cache. Recovered and returned.

Found with Tassiegirl13.
Given the amount of water that you could see had been through here I had doubts as to whether we would find this one.
We headed in from a point where we didn't need to bush bash too much and soon arrived at GZ. A quick look around and I spied something. Could it be it?
Yes it was. The outer container was covered in grass and a bit of mud so it must have been underwater.
I opened it up and yes I was right, it had been. The inner part of this cache I'm afraid was completely wet. The log book was mush and had definitely had it. The inner part was also rusted away which probably didn't help much. It will need a new container but as we were here on bikes today I didn't have one to slip in. We did dry it out as best we could and added a piece of paper in lieu of the log book.

This was my 25nd find and 21st different DT combination so far today - all gathered in my quest to qualify and complete the Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (Qld) - GC5C5PB.
I had another cache with this DT combination on my list, but I was nearby and there is no time like the present. After a bush bash, I spotted the container. The logbook has completely gone - it now looks like dirt. I put my initials on the paper left by Wombles, but I too think it won't last long here. I also have some photos as proof of the find if required. This one really needs some maintenance.
Thanks for the cache, sunshinecacher93!

Our first cache today, on our way to an event, riding from the train station so we decided to find a few caches along the way.
I found the container but the log has dissolved so I put a piece of paper in with my name on, I didn't have any bags so it probably won't last long.

Desperately in need of some love, the whole container is a mess, full of water and muck.
I was in the area today to visit the nearby Tafe so of course I had to do a few caches nearby to make the trip worthwhile .
I almost didn't do this one as I couldn't find a way to get to it from where I'd parked. Then as I was doing another one close by I found a way across. It was an easy walk until I reached the point where I had to turn off into the bush. I came up with scratches all over my legs and several on my arms too, don't know what the plants are but they aren't friendly .
I spotted the container very quickly and was quite excited - I've never seen one of these before. Unfortunately the cache itself is a real mess. It has water in the bottom and is full of muck. I couldn't see any sign of a log but I didn't go poking about it in it either. I've attached a photo as evidence of finding the cache.

May require a little maintenance. Didn't clean it out myself as this is a good hide and I have a fairly reliable habit of breaking everything.
Glad I took the time to find the common path. Not sure if I opened it correctly but there was a log(?) sitting on top. The inside of the container seems to be a giant green ants nest.
TFTC. Had a run with a magpie. Found quite easily. Didn't know of this park area when we lived in Bracken Ridge a few years back.Cache needs help the white ants have got in and eaten the log.
After finding a nearby cache, I wandered over to this one and started the bush bash thru mainly long grass and some small shrubby stuff. Wasn't long before I was at GZ and the helpful hint had the log in my hands rather quickly. Signed log and stamped TB for others to discover. Tftc
Even though it was raining this morning, the sun eventually came out,
so we headed out to find a few caches.
Enjoyed this cache, great camo, but needs a little attention.

An enjoyable day of caching after having a look around the North Lakes shopping centre. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nice one [^][^] Thanks to sunshinecacher93.
Couldn't actually sign the log as it was very wet.. Thanks though haven't seen one like this before
Usually when I'm in the area, I gave the pup with me, so this time hubby held onto her while I bashed through the scrub to get to this one. Nice container! Log very wet, didn't have anything to replace it with on me at the time. Tfth!

The GPS had me tramping all over the place until I came across the area and suspicious package. Log extremely wet.
Ah HA! There you are!
A quick find here - really nice idea, but I think the water is creeping into the inner cache.
The geotrails bring the terrain rating down a bit too!
Thanks sunshinecacher93!

Night caching posse with friends out in Bracken Ridge and this one was next on the list. What a cool container! Minimal bush bashing required, but watch out for the logs hidden in the long grass! Thanks for a very clever cache sunshinecacher93
Find #1154 at 17:27 while killing time before an appointment.
That wasn't nearly as much bashing as I had expected, didn't even get my boots dirty even after all this rain
As I approached, I noticed a very suspicious item -- someone had left the pen alongside the cache! [v]
Inside, as others have mentioned, the log is slimy pulp. [xx(] I still managed to make my mark.
On the way out I also found what I assume was the plastic baggy that should have prevented the log going manky. Rather than add more moisture to the cache, I left the bag separate in the, um, hide.
Thanks for the cache, sunshinecacher93.

Today I up Strathpine way finding a cache or three.
And particularly, a nearby challenge cache up there.
After that I found a few more.
But now it is time to head home, but not before finding a few more caches. Will I ever get home. [?]
A great cache container but the log book here is completely soggy and slimy. The CO will need to dry this one out before it rots.

Spotted the crafty container instantly. It was getting inside that was the problem.
Moved it to get a better grip as it was really stuck and that's when all the ants came out!
Ants seemed to make it their home in and around the cache and you have to be really careful. At least they're not the biting type... I think.

Net88 and I decided to head out for a lazy afternoon grabbing a few geocaches, so we set off in this general direction in the Subaru. A bit of looking around on the map brought this one to our attention. A higher D/T than one normally sees in such suburban areas.
The first approach point we picked was featuring some sort of street party, so we left them alone and chose another angle. The walk a bit longer, but much quieter. I guess we had better earn those Terrain stars, right?
We headed down the track and when perpendicular to the cache, turned and headed into the bush. There is a significant geotrail in here now and it less bush bash and more 'superhighway'. Although I did wonder what made all the humps and bumps in the ground.
We soon arrived at GZ and I wondered what would need to be done now to get at the cache, considering it's rating. A quick look about and I had it spotted. I pulled it out and showed it to Net. Pretty straightforward. The logbook was signed and all replaced as found before heading back to the path. This is potentially the easiest D3/T3.5 I have ever done. Usually such rating involve much hiking and a bunch of planning/searching. TFTC sunshinecacher93

It was a slow and easy day for Captain Terror and myself. We had met with a few cachers last night for a drink or two and we deserved a well earned sleep in. We had a look at the map and saw this area held caches for both of us so we jumped in the subaru and headed over.
We were going to park close to the cache but there was a family having a party on the road so we decided to park near another cache and walk the extra 50m. Sigh We were soon in line with the cache and headed along a very wide and clear path... straight to GZ.
We got to GZ and the Captain spotted something curious. "Is that the cache?" "Doesn't look like it," "Yes it does, look!" After admitting I was wrong the Captain grabbed the container and threw me the logbook to sign. The cache was replaced and we headed back to the pathway. I think the only time anything touched me was a vine we had to step over which the Captain somehow got his giraffe legs tangled in. Thanks for the cache sunshinecacher93
We were going to park close to the cache but there was a family having a party on the road so we decided to park near another cache and walk the extra 50m. Sigh We were soon in line with the cache and headed along a very wide and clear path... straight to GZ.
We got to GZ and the Captain spotted something curious. "Is that the cache?" "Doesn't look like it," "Yes it does, look!" Work got canceled on me this afternoon, so I headed out to grab a few caches. This one was a great find. After a 50 metre bush bash I came on the prize and what a neat job it is. TFTC, sunshinecacher93.
I found a park and the GPS was reading 65m so I headed straight towards the cache location.
What's wrong with a bit of bush bashin? I wonder what this area was used for previously. There were so many hollows and bumps.
I arrived at the search area safe enough and then admired the creation . Well made. The inner container is starting to rust and my be a problem getting it open later but managed ok.
I decided to continue my bushbashing to get to buzzed.

Still trying to clean up our local smilies so after short visit to shops travelled home via a couple of caches.
Quiet walk and a short bush bash found the unusual hide. Well done.

Found at 0821. After finding all the nasties mentioned in the description I spotted a bike path that ran along side the GZ about 50Ms away then I found the cache. TFTC.
What an AWESOME hide!
A nice easy find this morning after a bit of a Bush-bash.

Out for a Sunday spin on the Geocycle - it is an MTB so I was able to bush bash right up to the cache Now should I try to bush across to the next cache[?]
Blown away by recent success (2/2) this morning I decided that the shortest distance from the last cache to this one was a direct line. Of course, this involved in the quintessential art of suburban bush bashing. Not to be out done by the bevy of off-road tracks my direct line approach saw me suffering the slings and arrows of lantana, coppers logs and an assortment of spiders from the Ark.
Nonetheless my persistence was rewarded with a prize at the end of my quest.
TFTC sunshinecacher93 Container and contents all in good order
By the way - if I had bothered to take the paved track none of this would have happened [:D)

I parked the pushbike nearby and set off into the bush.
Actually an easy stroll following the tracks left by somebody on a quadbike [:o]
Probably those fire-ant baiters at work again !!
At GZ I found a very nice container [^]

at 15:31. As we had walked down almost here to get across the creek to get to Buzzed it was only a short detour to get this one. If you find the right geotrail the terrain is not so bad.
TFTC Sunshinecacher93. With a handy hooked stick we managed to retrieve and return the cache without a scratch.

Looking into the bush, I was feeling rather tired but pushed on. Glad I did as I LOVED the container!! I didn't spot it at first but was leaning over it looking when it became apparent! TFTC
Added this as a favourite!

A quick half afternoon of caching with Angela saw LJCC driving and Angela navigating. Searching involved both of us crashing through various locations! I have looked at Angela's write up and it covers it well
Great container. I was standing on the opposite side of my fellow cacher and I saw it a split second before she pointed it out (which probably means we saw it around the same time!
Fave point for this one for the container

We weren't sure which way to enter the bush, but took a guess and there was a handy geo-trail right there Followed the trail and quite found a great container TFTC!
Walking towards GZ, we wondered whether we would really need to bush bash until we saw a handy geotrail . Took us right to the cache . Awesome camo . All is good with the cache . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH sunshinecacher93 .
P.S. Sorry I accidentally dated our log entries 4/8/13! Should be 4/9/13 .

I eyed this one off as I circumnavigated said Bush yesterday, and decided that it would be prudent to change into non-work clothes prior to an attempt. Today, having done that, I arrived in the late afternoon sun and drove up to GZ, reaching out the car window for a ... well, not quite, but it appears someone may have tried this. Not so much bashing needed, although wet grass and thorns wouldn't have been as much fun. Noticed the container once a 360° was completed, very nice. A few stray thorns on the container meant I took a bit longer to open and sign it than normal, but no rush. The chirping of birds, the rustle of the wind and the distant roar of the motorway as the sun begins to set ... just gorgeous.
Thanks for placing this cache, sunshinecacher93. Found in good condition.

I wandered all the way around this piece of bush looking for the closest walk to the cache I could find and soon I was making my way down a track.
I was keeping an eye out for the crawling things but did not see them
Soon I was at GZ and the cache was in hand.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks sunshinecacher93 All good with this cache

Impressed with the container, very clever. The thorns around the search area, are very lethal, plenty of blood lost on this cache. Thanks sunshinecacher93 for the effort.
No luck for me today. I managed to park the goemobile within a reasonable distance. Happily started searching along the areas of bush that had been bashed before me. Soon met up with a couple of "Simpsons" regulars - Itchy AND Scratchy. You weren't lying about the spiders webs. It was about the time the Face Hugging Spider grabbed hold I decided I wasn't enjoying this much and decided to call it quits. Couldn't get out of there quick enough. AND Itchy and Scratchy decided to join me on the trip home. Aaaghhhhh
Maybe another day.....

Best thing about this cache a day biz in August is that it's forcing me up to the 500 finds quick smart. Was keen to find this one to fill in a spot on the T/D grid. Seeing the T rating, I made the mistake of parking at the soccer fields and heading straight in there... Up, down, oh no! Batteries are low! The Gps died several times, so I flipped the batteries, restarted the device for another 20 or so seconds of mad dashing through scrub until I was about 20m away. Then they just had nothing left. I had an inkling of the description and searched a likely spot to no avail, so I widened the search, hey. Wait a minute! What a nifty container! Signed the log and returned before WALKING 25m TO THE NEARBY BIKEPATH!!!! What the!!!?? Oh well, at least I had some time walking back to the moosemobile to pluck the cobbler's pegs from my clothing. tftc sunshinecacher93. A fav from me.
Well that could've been alot messier! Still managed a spike or two. Cool hide. Left nicknacks. TFTC

In need of my cache for the day, I saw that this one had been published and was very close to home. May as well be this one. I wandered over to near GZ and was confronted with the long grass, not my favourite but it never stops me. I jumped about through the shortest parts and found myself at GZ. AH HA! Yep, that's the cache! Nice container.

Having been down the dark side chasing another FTF with friends (unsuccessfully) we were heading home on the Gateway when this popped up. Perfect timing we thought.
Change course and head towards GZ. Found a parking spot and set off on foot. Came from wrong direction at first, but shortly after found a well constructed cache.
Opened to find a clear logbook.
A favourite from me. TFTH
