Found stones, turned them over, found no cache. Other photos seem to indicate that it used to be here and is now gone
I think so too. Place was in a shambles when i got here today. The hint says rock, but i dont even think they are rocks. Is it garden edging? Anyway. Might bring a shovel next time.
Found this morning with a friend visiting from Brisbane. The compass kept spinning but my geo eye spied what I was looking for. Log damp and disintegrating. Needs replacing. TFTC
TFTC! There was some animal activity so cache was underneath quite a lot of soil. Cache log’s are soaked so we couldn’t sign. But have picture proof.
We’ve moved the soil flat and have put cache back (pic attached but it’s a spoiler).
Thanks again for the cache ️

No luck today. 30 minutes. Read hint, logs, looked at photos, searched out to 20metres. There is activity round gz, that may have buried it?. Will try again another day. A dnf after that hill.
Tftc Grub Fred, made a detour this morning to pass by this cache, which we found in good condition.
Nice spot to go for a morning walk
Thanks
Nice spot to go for a morning walk
Thanks
This was a great find. We found it without the hint, but afterwards when we read the hint it made lots of sense!
Our third day in Newcastle and with our apartment still not having any power and starting to really heat up, 999HK were looking for somewhere cool to send some time geocaching while my wife was with family. We selected this are as expected the Fernleigh Tunnel to be pretty cool, and it has been on my To Do list while in Newcastle for a few visits.
Nice easy find, but we took the long hill walk up here. More than a T1.5 the way we came.
Thanks for the cache Grub Fred

Found it! Really nice spot and a nice easy find...although it probably took me longer than it should have
I'm glad that the people in the house nearby are friends as I found myself distracted by how amazing the house is. The garden bordering the park is incredible! So many ferns, palms and monsteras that all look so lush and we'll looked after. And then the lone strelitzia a little further on draws the eye. I bet it would look amazing when it flowers.
The building itself is also stunning with its large windows, balcony, and undercover area. If they are ever thinking about selling, I would appreciate a call
I also became distracted by GZ; A beautiful specimen. I had a chuckle when I pulled out my phone to find the cache and it told me I was practically standing on top of it. It seems that you have a knack for finding gorgeous spots to put caches in, Grub Fred.
I wish I could give this cache a favourite point as well, but unfortunately I just gave my last one to Mantis religiosa. I'll have to come back later and add it when I get another one.
Thanks again Grub Fred
Edit: back to add that favourite point
