Looks like the cache has gone, along with the seating in the last week, courtesy of council works possibly. Time to put this one to rest.
On the way home from a long weekend away up in the mountains walking. Lovely views from here of the area. Weir is very full atm. TFTC
We stayed the late in Tallangatta to finish off the High Country Rail Trail labs and bonus after which is was time to head high doing a few more labs and other caches as we went.
We agree that the lookout up here has had a lot of work done to it and it would be a great spot to have lunch and take in the views. Today we had not long ago had breakfast so we concentrated on locating the cache which fortunately turned out to be a lot easier that it may have been and after our names were added to the log and the cache returned as it was found we went to enjoy the scenery. The last time we were here (for Bolga View) there was no water in the lake at all so it looked so much better today.
Thanks BettyBoo347 for the cache, a favourite point from us for the location.

Love the view, great spot for a cache. With it was bigger, would have dropped off a TB otherwise. Spending a few days here, loving this area already.
Certainly is wow. It was clear up here today and the views were wide. Last time Mrs Papi was in the area, the catchment was down to next to nothing. Great place for a cache. Thank you for placing this one here.
Day five of Beechworth camping road trip with Papi4506, Geoturtle37 & RoamingHowie, working our way through various must-dos.
WOW indeed!
Awesome views of Lake Hume (which was sitting at only 4% last time we were in the area.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, BettyBoo3747

Day #4 for me of the cache adventure with OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506. It was to be a day of kms as i seek to fill in Map 14 for the UBD challenge and collect a few caches with some nice views along the way.
So many great lookout points. This would also have made a great lunch spot. Thanks for helping to break up the drive.

Amazing place to watch the sunrise. Sooo Super happy and ready for the next find.. Thanks heaps for the Cache x
Another quick and easy find here today. Thanks for the cache. Views would be more awesome with a full lake. But still pretty cool. Cache is in good order and returned where found.
We were discovering the lookout. Found my world's best Dad!! ...and worlds best kid!!!

Wow, for sure nice view. We will need to come back when more water in the dam

We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.
Trackables that we have with us today are:

Yeehaa 2,000th. find
A belated log for this group of caches as life (and surgery) has got in the way of caching.
We took an opportunity to make our 2,000th find with our caching sister and brother-in-law baby&Mrs gopher who got us involved with Geocaching back in 2007
Our families were attending a family reunion nearby Ebden so we arrived a day early and headed out to make these finds together.
TNLN
Our thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache and bringing us to this location.
WOW What a view !!!!

We’re staying in Beechworth for a couple of nights before heading off for a drive in the High Country with the local MX-5 Club. Today we went a drive of our own... heading in the general direction of Corryong... and stopping for the occasional cache along the way. We spotted the signpost for the lookout and decided to check it out. Unfortunately the views were not what they could have been due to all the "bush fire smoke" hanging in the air... but they were still "pretty Wow!"
Thanks **BettyBoo3747** for putting this cache up here.

On our way to the Snowy Mountains we made a break in Tallangatta and saw this cache on the smartphone. Naturally we went for it and found the little box and a stunning view.

Driving mum home after a visit to Albury and I decided to detour up here. I’ve often thought I would come up here but never had the time. Great views but very very dry . Thanks Bettyboo
️ did not find it unfortunately. Checked all the spots I’d expect to see a magnetic cache but no luck!
Need to check whether the container has been muggled. Putting out of action until I can get there.
Beautiful views of Tallangatta.
Unfortunately after a long search matho64 and I couldn’t find.

What was to have been a quick weekend trip to Melbourne to accompany leafotwind on his 3,000th cache find (since I had also recently completed the Victorian Premiers whereigo ) became an 8 day trip because there was a CITO [^] at Traralgon the next day which then led to Mallacoota and the Snowy Mountain Highway [^] since I couldn't legally use the Great Alpine Road as I didn't have snow chains because the boring freeway back to Melbourne and then back to Shepparton didn't sound like fun
The first day, I met my sister in Bendigo as she waited for her semi to be unloaded and reloaded, so we went op shopping in the meantime[:X] From there it was off to Melbourne and the group find of the Victorian Premiers whereigo which had taken me to many spots in Victoria [^] Then the group slogged our way up a slippery, muddy slope [|)][xx(] to get a couple of simple drive by 4 x 4 caches (when the tracks are open) before caching on into the night
I made a find on a previous DNF at Moe then it was off to Clean Up a Creek at Traralgon [^] followed by finding some bloody good caches (both containers and reasons for placement) around the area with leafotwind, NoWorries andAlphaDeltaIndigo [:X], chatting to Crisp image as the group found Wherever I Lay My Hat before Rex and I left the group, walking in the Crinigan Road Bushland Reserve at dusk[^], seeing a huge Dr21 dredger once used for coal mining and now placed at Morwell, finding a tiny grave in the middle of a shopping area , finding my 1st 3D printed cache container and then it was off to the Lakes Entrance area and wandering out on the peninsula[^]
Seeing old RAAF airfields and radio bunkers, seeing tiny country towns and meeting some great people (including an almost muggle woman and her children in Mallacoota where she had previously looked for 1 cache and who may now get into geocaching properly [^]), seeing the sun rise while surrounded by kangaroos and standing on the eastern coast of Vic and chatting with Rollmatrix throughout my time in Mallacoota and Genoa
Spending a few hours chatting with a lovely truckie, Michael [:X], who was on a wood chip run to Canberra as we traversed the countryside in the dark (after I had apologised for slowing down his fully laden rig as Harry crawled his way up a hill ) then I pulled into Cooma for a break and an EC and also found a cache, Southern Cloud, about the aircraft accident and then accidentally ended up at another memorial cache, Southern Comfort, Southern Cloud or Southern Storm, later on in the trip
Seeing brumbies amongst the snow along the edge of the road at night in the mountains in NSW [^], seeing a thermal pool early in the morning with steam rising from it in the cold air and water plants growing up from the sandy bottom [^], seeing the grave of the alleged Man from Snowy River while finding the multi The Man from Snowy River - HCPPP [^] and then chatting to SciFiRulz who I managed to sneak in a quick visit with before heading home and finding The Highest Railway Station on the way
Over the 8 days there was 9 DNFs (although I did manage to find a few on my 2nd attempts ), 1 CITO event attended and a total of 111 cache finds including 3 FTFs
As I am about 8 months behind in logging, I'm resorting to template logs to catch up.
My heartfelt thanks to the COs who have placed some tricky, funny, exercise required, scary, interesting and devious caches in some amazing spots! [^]
Rex and I have had some amazing adventures and enjoyed some incredible moments thanks to this fantastic hobby

Our first find for the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs.
Kelly stayed in Tallangatta for the night for work and not having to be in Wodonga until the afternoon meant there was plenty of time for a cache or two on the way. The history of this town is amazing and I have no idea how they managed to convince an entire community to pick up and relocate. The view from this cache definitely has the wow factor even on a cold winter day but the fact there was no wind made it more comfortable.
Thank you once again BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache here so we can all enjoy this view.

Great views of Lake Hume and Tallangatta. Nice hide found by Cienna with assistance from Craig, Jonty, Tash and Xyleigh. TFTC.
sushilord and Doctor Owl were on a mission to find caches in deepest darkest Victoria with the main aim of visiting challenge caches and working on requirements for a number of challenge caches in South Australia and Victoria. During the trip there were laughs, tears, fractious frustrations and new equipment tested with some technology failures. Many miles were covered and boxes opened along the way.
After a nice lunch in Tallangatta we climbed a hill and were rewarded by great scenery, pity about he rain though.
Thanks for the cache BettyBoo.

Day 4 of Owl and Sushilord's tri-state epic adventure and today's target was a border crossing, more LGA areas, long distance driving and a continued search for mysteries, both to achieve old and new challenges. Some additional wow factor was called for, although the rain made it not as spectacular as it could have been.
Trying to find somewhere to kayak on the lake took the quick diversion up to this great view point. Like yesterday’s visitors no one about do quickly signed.

Very "attractive". Always loved this spot. Been coming up here for years before we started caching so it's a nice treat. Fabulous views of the Gatta and Lake Hume. Came for a bit of a hunt around on our way home after swimming in Kiewa River. TFTC
This was our highlight cache of the day. What a stunning view. We decided that this will be Christmas Day picnic lunch stop. No muggles or flys to spoil lunch. Now to head back to Hume Dam and Wodonga. Merry Christmas, thanks.
Another one of my late logs, sorry. Found this after a day in Tallangatta and wanted to get out and about a bit.
Beautiful view! Had to do a spot of retrieval when one of the geokids lost their hats over the fence! Good spot, especially with little ones. TFTC

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Great view.
You're not wrong about the wow factor! I loved the views on this winter's morning, and was interested to learn that the whole town was moved in the 50s. Nobody around and the cache was a quick find. I'm glad I came, thanks for bringing me here
Easy find in a LGA I needed to find and a wonderful view as well. Name very apt. TFTC
*14/7/17, Found @ 12:53 pm, Find # 6760.*
While heading to Canberra for the Mega lead up event plus a couple of others and a few other missions along the way, I was now heading on a bit of a side excursion for the next mission which was to pick up another LGA.
Looking at the list of caches, I noticed the name of this one so I went to see if it was true.
It's certainly an interesting little drive up and then I reached the top, got out and looked around.
Well I can certainly say it does have a bit of that, the view is great from here, I then went and had a look for the cache which I was able to find quickly.
**Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for placing this cache.**

Wow what a view.. this cache has been on my radar for a little while and view did not disappoint
Unfortunately too many people up here to look for the cache and risk getting it muggled. We will be back.
Grabbed lunch in town and then made the trip up the hill to do maintenance on this cache. Indeed, the log sheet was completely soaked and unable to be written on. Did a complete swap over of the container and log sheets. I left one of my steampunk bicycle pathtags here today. All good now.

While enjoying a sunset picnic with geo-wife, I suspected there may be a cache up here. So on checking on my phone, sure enough. A quick find then back to the wine and food. Thanks BettyBoo, this is a great lookout especially on sunset.
What a great view. Almost gave up on this one as our GPS pointed us some distance away but eventually found it on a peaceful but very hot afternoon. TFTC
