I think it has disappeared - at least from my gps reading, there's a hole in the ground where the camo hide once was

16-Nov-13
Oh no! I think has camo has gone, along with what was holding if, if I'm right in assuming the hide is the same as a previous multi that ended here Sad

On a roll here. 3 in a row that have been spotted from the car as we pulled up. Fantastic job with the camo. It could so easily pass as original.

Cheers

Found this clever camo that really is in plain sight. A good cache to combine with a cuppa at any of the nearby cafes.

I regret the passing of 'pick a path.' A very entertaining -if also frustrating- geocache, and well up to the high Albany standard. I particularly liked the cheeky (as now can be revealed) return back to the start after all that running around. With all that experience behind me, 'finding' this one again was a real no-brainer. Big Grin
So it's good bye to pickapath! But on the plus side - many more will be able to admire the elegant camouflage job.

Which tree or was it the seat????....mmmm....or was there more???? There were a few areas to choose from [-:)]
Great hide. TFTC

Another cache at an old location so could find this one quickly. The last one was fun and different, however this puts the emphasis back on the history of the rectory.

We successfully solved and found the Rectory's cache ancestor ("Pick a path") less than a month ago, so when this popped up, we could make a beeline straight to GZ. We're sorry to see "Pick a path" be archived, but pleased to see a new cache at this location. Being a traditional style cache, this should see more geocaching traffic than its puzzley-grandfather, and given the great job on the camo hide it really does deserve more visitors. Thanks Cruznoz!

This cache has taken the place of my "Pick a path" puzzle, which I thought had run it's coarse. Because the container had stood the test of time, I thought I would reuse it for this new cache. So for any one who found Pick a path, then déjà vu at GZ will be noticed.

Yippee!! That's probably the quickest I've ever got out of the house, but it was worth it because I'm the FTF!! I was a bit worried that it might be busy down here and I'd have to be in extra stealth mode but that wasn't to be.. I somehow lost my pen between the car and the cache (?) so had to go search my car for another one, then sat back on the bench, open the cache... I left my tweezers in the car!!! I wasn't walking back to the car again so I persevered and got the log out.. Crisp new log waiting for me, happy happy!
This is a beautiful spot in town, especially with the seat so you can take 5 and enjoy the setting, I wonder what life would have been like over 160 years ago?
Thanks Cruznoz for bringing a little bit of Albany's history to your fellow geocaches (glad it isn't raining) and thanks for the creative cache!!

I remember attempting pick a path all them years ago when I couldn't find a cache even if it was painted bight yellow.was allot easier today.I stood 5 meters away while a friend tried to locate it. Afer a few minutes he gave up and i had to point it out to him.
