Had an errand to run nearby so visited this little park while in the area - the nearby builders were entertaining as was the small dog exercising in the park by running laps. Nice easy find - TFTC
Found this pretty easy. The rain was awful so thus ended my 10 000 steps adventure, thanks for all of the caches!
Found it surprising quickly as it was the only place it could've been hidden around the plaque. Thanks for the cache!
Out with Geokid3 on the last day of school hols.
Quick find and we were on our way.

Rumbled down the thin black line late last night through the Big Smoke towards the Sunderland Shire and uncharted Territory to try my hand at finding a few caches there in the cool of the dark. Thanks to all who made my evening memorable, Thanks for the adventure

Grabbed without too much fuss on our reverse approach to this series.
Log was a little damp from recent thunderstorms but not too bad.
Replaced with care and screwed cap on tightly.

Tricky with the building site across the road and working muggles everywhere, but got it in the end.
A nice quick find while on holiday with loop1968, we decided to do part of this series between the 2 station as we were coming to look at the tram museum and the park close. TFTC
Australia and a few cache attend this trade for a smiley. Thanks for the nice round, so I could get to know the area better.
I found a lot of the 10000 steps caches. Had an amazing day, and a lot of walking. Thanks for a great series! Best regards from Germany
Found this one after reading the hint , My Oregon was 6M off GZ?
Just about to replace said cache and I was beset upon by a very talkative Mrs Muggle and her dog.
It was useless trying to explain the real reason I was wandering around a park in the rain, so I made up an excuse and after much conversation i managed to take my leave, cache in hand.
When she had moved on I returned to GZ and replaced it safe and sound.

The advantage of caching in winter is the parks are mostly deserted, making easy finds.
This one is no exception.
Dropped in a 'glass gem'.
TFTC CATONY ... on to #12.

Trip to Sydney from NZ and alas this was my only find due to a busy schedule. Grabbed on a geojog, has intended to pick up a few more in the series on the run but a lovely elderly Asian lady passing by stopped to chat. I had the cache still in my hand so couldn't politely leave....20 mins later I replaced and was off again with all my caching minutes used up. Never mind, it was a lovely interlude in a pretty wee park. I hope the nice lady gets the trip to NZ with her son that she has always wanted. I'll be back in the future to do my 10,000 steps.
Smirkwood found this one. Unfortunately I lost my pencil between this cache and the last one so i didn't sign it. nice park though. tftc
After a brief break for lunch and coffee we resumed the walk with this one. Nice little container and an easy find even for me who didn't have a GPS. TFTC!
Only one place it could be. There were some muggles on the park playing, but were out of view. TFTC.
Windows and eyes everywhere but no one was looking today.
Quick find.

The last one for the day. Another nice quick cache. I'm really enjoying this series. Can't wait to finish it off. TFTC.
Reperio at 1645.
After attending an event in Wollongong earlier, I was headed home to Newcastle when I decided to make a short detour to find a few caches in the series. Arrived at GZ just as it started to rain, so fortunately the cache didn't take long to find. Nice little bit of history here too!
Gratias CATONY.

We returned to the car after no. 10, had an enjoyable bite to eat at the athletics ground and returned to this park wit the car. Being muggle free, it didn't take long for me to stumble upon the cache.
We found one cache in the 10000 Steps series last night. In the twilight and dark this afternoon and evening we went to look for some more in the series, Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Catony.
Some weird dude, hanging around the park, pacing, smoking cigatettes - plus me, except I wasn't smoking or pacing, just trying to work out how to grab this one without Weird Guy noticing. Eventually, got it. TFTC CATONY
An easy find, although extremely hard to fill out log due to a large muggle presence.
Pretended to read the plaque for a while until the school kids left and then proceeded to retrieve the cache and sign log. Also, to the student sniffing round the park looking inquisitively at your iPhone... I gave you a wink so if you're a geocacher, good luck!

A welcome break and exercise while up in Sydney due to family illness. It was good to get out, even in the rain!

Walked on from #10 and soon spotted a park and a likely hiding spot.
Quickly had CIH and sat on the nearby bench to do the signing duties.
No one in the area at 7.15am, unlike the other caches.

While sitting at the bench signing the log, noticed the beautiful old tree across the way. A tree climbers paradise!
Whilst attending a funeral to celebrate the life of a wonderful 103 year old woman and after attending the wake at the club nearby, I wanted to clear this cache in her memory as I'm not from the area. Having said that, this cache is part of a what I call a Power Trail I may return. Like the idea of 10,000 steps. Therefore caching has to be good for your health.
More luck on a Saturday with an empty park and no-one else in sight, not even in one of the cars. MrsFish grabbed it from the most likely spot and we strolled over to shade with the interesting container for logging. Thanks for a good hide.
Dad and my little brother were eager to go undercover playing in the playground, but I found it before they even reached it! TFTC!

Took a while to find due to the muggles but soon left giving me a quick find tftc
There was a family having a lovely time in the park but they left as soon as we got there (was it us?)! Gentleman Assassin made the find when they'd collected their things and gone. TFTC!
Geoson was out caching with Cooringah walking the 10000 steps when they made this find. TFTC
Up from Canberra visiting the family for the holidays...so why not take advantage of top weather and spend the day on a geomission around The Shire?
Moving right along with the series and this one was next. After parking the car nearby I took a seat and pretended to be texting as a muggle walked past So then when the coast was clear, I made the find, sign, stash and dash! [:O)] Lovely little park!
Thanks for yet another CATONY Now on to the next.....
